*Why'd you join the Scouting Legion: Because it's fun! What's the point of joining the military if you're just going to sit back in the capital and spend your time getting hammered and the only action you'll get is firing a cannon at a titan when you get bored on the wall?
Also it's a family thing. Mom was a scout, grandpa was a scout, so I'm a scout.
*Personality: Daniel's personality could easily label him as a hippie. He's about as carefree and easygoing as one could get in the military without someone demanding a psych evaluation. He's never known to get angry over little things and has never once lost his cool when surrounded by titans. He likes just about everybody and always seems to see the good in someone, though there are rare occasions where he has come to hate someone.
He's well known for cracking jokes and while he isn't outstandingly intelligent he has sort oh philosophical wisdom about him.
When engaged in battle he always charges with a smile on his face and a confident attitude while remaining aware of his surroundings.

*Bio: Daniel doesnt have a great wealth of information about his early life. He knows for certain that he was adopted by a military family. What he does not know is that he was born in a titan infested area to a small group of people who'd found a way to move about and forage without being eaten. The exact details of his birth are sketchy but according to his family his still pregnant mother was eaten by a titan in her final days of pregnancy, shortly afterward the titan who ate the woman was killed leaving behind a newborn child who miraculously survived. Rather than leave the baby to be executed or to life on the streets, a female soldier quickly took the child while chaos still ensued and hid him away until it was time to cross back into her district.
After that Daniel's life is much easier to explain. He lived a happy , healthy life with his adopted family, playing with his brothers and sister , helping his grandparents around the house and receiving training at the hands of his mother and father when they had time to spare.
When he came of age Daniel enlisted in the military and was shipped off to training where he came in the bottom of the top ten of the trainees and chose to join the Survey Corps like his family members before him.
While on his first tour into titan infested areas Danny's squad was assaulted by a group of titans and chased into a corner where they remained under attack until Danny , the fastest cadet, offered to be bait to give the others a chance to escape. Once the others were clear Danny made his attempt to escape which ended with several titans chasing him until one managed to bite his arm off. The combination of adrenaline and pain triggered his transformation and released the disturbing creature many called the Spider Titan.
This transformation allowed Danny to kill the titans chasing him and later on escape from the district where he briefly went to therapy for the trauma he endured with his squad, most of whom had survived. Only a few short days later Danny was released with a little to no concerns and was allowed to return to active duty.

Abilities:
- Covered in a chitin like armor with very few openings
- Very fast , agile and flexible. It can turn its torso nearly 180 degrees And can scale sheer surfaces.
- It can grow two extra arms from its back which it uses to fight, crawl or dismember other titans.
- It can secrete a strong, sticky, web like substance from its mouth and fingertips which sticks to unarmored targets but dissolves after an hour.
Control: Due to Danny's calm and accepting demeanor he maintains a surprising degree of control over his titan to the point where he can distinguish between friend and foe, can fight like a human rather than a berserk beast and he can use the titan' s abilities to their full extent. However special types of titans can make him aggressive and much less rational.
Appearance:
Even among titans the Spider's appearance has been considered disturbing. Still humanoid in appearance it's body is disproportionate with its slender frame, waspish waist and almost absurdly long arms. It is coated from head to toe with black and grey insect like chitin, it's face is elongated and filled with razor sharp , dark red teeth. It's habit of creeping low to the ground and moving in quick short bursts , coupled with multiple arms , has given it the appropriate label, The Spider Titan
