So I have been on monster hunter for a loooong time, like monster hunter freedom for the PSP long. And I have NEVER had a fight that gave me this much trouble on the first encounter. I got his pattern down eventually but good god @_@. He is the only monster who ever game overed me, I very rarely even fainted at all in solo missions -_-.
All that being said... I LOVED it! It's been far too long since I have had a challenge beyond the elder dragons so that was a really nice change of pace lol. Plus he's got a great design, I can't wait to start building some weapon and armor from him.
Why'd you have to go and tell me that boss man T.T. He was bad enough the first time! Is there a variant of him?

And I was actually referring to when you finally get to High Rank & G Rank versions of him.
The Gore Magala honestly never becomes any easier, he just goes from being a Jeep, to a Semi, to a Tank. And they all hurt a lot along the way even based on decent armor progressions.
If I am to post about spoilers I'll actually use the [.spoiler] function for you guys. I don't want to do that to my Guildies.
And yeah that is going to be a lot of fun XP. I think one of the reasons he is so tough is when you are hit with that frenzy blight or whatever, that frenzy explosion in rage moment is just like BOOM dead. It's range is absurd too, and he can pull it out in like two seconds XD. Maybe if I could block, but I use a hunting horn most of the time so that's not an option lol.
Well in hindsight there really wasn't much in there spoilerish. It was really just talking about gore magala being a thing. I did have some more stuff about
the first time you see him in the ship and then again in the expedition
but I took it out because it really didn't add too much to the conversation lol. I just wanted to say how much of a pain he is XP. Just beat got to Hunter Rank 3 now and he was just as hard then as he was before XD. Going to go kill a tigrex later just for my own self esteem lol.
Anyway off to work for now, happy hunting!

Honestly, I had zero issues with him, my issues ran with Stygian Zinogre, but overcame that with 11 runs of it to get the gem for the set.
Nothing has really remotely rampaged me, except for Styg.

I had a hard time too lol luckily my fighting style kept me alive bringing like 30 diferent potions xD and running to next map to heal lol still do it sometimes x) onthe demo it was a different story died too many times crying
