 Over the last couple weeks, Ly had to admit, she had been glued to her green heart beat. She wanted to reassure him that she wasnt going anywhere, and honestly she had missed him more than she had thought it ever possible to miss another being.
But today, she had left his side long enough to sneak around and make a nice little romantic dinner for them, she had hunted and collected flowers as well as a few berries, she glanced around and nodded with a soft smile.
The willow tree was perfect, and the sky was getting dark which meant the stars were starting to twinkle in the sky, she had left little signs for him to follow and find her.
She was going to explode if he didnt come soon, she smoothed out her coat and left a paw on her belly, she could feel the soft movement within but she hoped she wasn't to large yet...She giggled, she enjoyed laying on Sorii's back and having him carry her...though she was sure he must be getting tired of that, but she loved to nuzzle and nibble his ears when he did.

 It'd been a long time coming. Where she had been by his side for a while and they were rekindling the fire that once blazed enticingly with each other. Now they were living a normal life. Routine with laughter and romanticism. Slowly easing her sadness away and filling their lives with Aiden's children. Their grandchildren. Relief was in the air, he hoped it meant by both of them. Maybe this time... he wouldn't be so scared at nights. Waking up randomly to check and make sure she was there. Those times.. were slowly easing away. Now, he could finally get a good night's rest and know that she will greet him when he wakes.When he was off to scavenge for things to bring back.. He'd found nothing for her. Today, he wanted to find something that would delight her and show her that finally things seemed turning around and how much he appreciated her loyalty by his side.
That soon came to an end when he got back to their den in the forest. "..." The sounds of the birds could be heard but no traces of Ly. "Ly........" He called out lowly.. Then a little louder. Panic..Panic... started to ensure before he found something. A..clue? He went over to it and sniffed. It was Ly's and a slight sign of concern came over him as he followed the clues..cautiously so. Hunched a little over in his paces, just in case this was a trap of some sort by someone else other than his love..
That's when he spotted the willow trees, and around to the side was some the stream. Getting low to the ground only to see a shadow figure. Black. A sigh of relief came over to him. This was just a game.. he smiled widely and slowly walked towards her. Ears in alert as he closed in on her and slowly significantly when he got near. Smelling foooood~~
"...Did I.. miss our anniversary..?" Which was a few shy of a couple months.. it definitely wasn't today. Def not today. Her birthday? He went through the mental list in his head. "I definitely must be missing a date.." Coming to her side and softly giving her an affectionate lick over her cheek. "My love.." A soft bow to his head. "What has brought us here today~ this lovely scenery.." Then it hit him. She was breaking up with him. She decided to leave. He paw a paw over his chest and brought himself to harmonize for just a moment before clicking that same paw against his ears to pat them down. His nerves now was getting to him. Obviously overthinking this fancy occasion.

She laughed softly and shook her head, " No my dear heart, you did not miss anything.." She nuzzled under his chin, nipping affectionately at his jaw line as she purred.
"I have a surprise to tell you my love.." She pulled herself away from him for a second, a soft smile warming her features. "But first, are you hungry? I caught us a few rabbits and collected some berries.." She was all but shivering with excitement, she couldnt wait to tell him.
She knew that the wee ones within her belly now, could never replace the ones they had lost, but she knew they would do well to healing the hurt that had been left on both of them. Nothing would happen to these kits, nothing would take them away from her this time, and she would not disappear again either. This time her family would grow happily together..

"Foooodd~~" He cuued at her and licked her maw when she got close. Damn he couldn't love her anymore, he'd literately strangle her with it. "Yes~~~" He really was trying not to give off that he was nervous and sniffed at the food. Rabbits. His ears panned back happily. "You first~" Licking his lips as he lifted his paw. "Always my lady is first~" A soft chuckle. He enjoyed this tender company of his mate.
He really wouldn't have ever guessed what would come. Ever.
Taking a berry and holding it with one talon. Offering it to her. Then gave her an affectionate nuzzle. "What has gotten you in such a good mood love, what can I be more surprised with other than I woke up being beside you." With no ill intent, it was now a thing of the passed and he showed just how much he appreciated her company with other actions... That lead to why they were gathered here today.

"Oh no my love, I couldnt possibly dream of having more than a nibble right now.." She nibbled at the berry he offered her, her stomach was all in a flutter and making her feel rather...nauseous at the moment.
"Sorii, my darling heart..I have something impor.." Her words were cut off when another voice broke in.  "Lysianthia.." Her brothers voice cut in, deep and almost cold as he stepped from the shadows, he had too followed her clues left for Sorii, the large male eyed the green male his sister had chosen as her mate. It wasn't as if Callum disliked the male, but the whole predatory, dominate male kept him cool and distant. His head bobbed for a moment, "Sorii.." He eyed the little scene he had apparently interrupted but felt little remorse over it at the moment. "Ive come with a favor to ask the...two of you." He said with a flick of his tail.

Sorii was more than happy to be with her, but immediately saw even the slight change. Training himself to see any signs of 'leaving again'. But when she didn't want to eat.. "Important? -" Which he had heard the piercing sound of someone's voice cutting his love off. Immediately he got defensive, until he saw the black figure more clearly. Callum.
There was a silence before he could even move. Letting his muscles loosen their intensity before giving a respectful nod. "Callum." Noting it was her brother from years past, he hadn't seen him around for some time.. A favor? He tilted his head and straightened out his back like a leader wound do in respects for the other leader. "Speak freely then.. you know family there is no favor too great for us if it is family who asks it of us. We will consider anything..." Not really knowing what he was actually agreeing to, or offering help for. Even with Ly telling him very sparingly what happened. Some harsh hurt was still in his heart but as Sorii was raised, he let it go to the best of his ability. The past..was the past. Nothing could change it now.
Hopefully..
Mending between the families would strengthen them. If it was a favor to grant good graces then he'd certainly think it over. But it didn't save him from feeling in the slightest protective as he stood back to give Ly the pass to go to her brother. Not that she'd ask permission but more out of respect and humility.
