Having decided it was time to wander about on her own. It hasn't been very long since she left her adopted father's home to search for new experiences. A strong case of wanderlust had taken over her senses and she simply couldn't ignore the call. After all she is a grown mare now and she is sure her fathers wouldn't want her to stay around growing restless by the day for very long. She had slipped out after saying her goodbyes to Questrille as she knows Zorion would get too emotional. She detests seeing him get emotional as it makes her feel guilty.

Going down a deer path she finally gets out of the tree's and into a more clear area. The breeze whips her bangs around and she lets out an annoyed snort. Why must her bangs not cooperate with her! Shaking her head it takes a few times before her bangs get into a more presentable position. Though a few parts still stick up but it doesn't seem as bad. Gives more of a intentional look now. Knowing this from past experience. Moving forward she looks around musing over the direction that she would start with.

Glancing up at the sky it would be very beneficial if she could figure out the time of day. With the sun just past it's peak she gathers that she has a good amount of time to travel. Though nightfall will be very strange to be alone. She isn't looking forward to it. Not in the slightest. Turning to face the northwest she presses forward. She doesn't want to waste anymore time dawdling around.

Two hours pass and she hasn't seen another soquili. Perhaps there aren't many that travel this way. Though she would think that she would have come across someone. Strange, yet she doesn't let it get to her. Surely it isn't unusual for such a thing. Probably very normal. Perhaps that could be a question that she could ask another as she travels. One of many questions as she would love to get to know others. After all she is sure that there are others just as friendly as she in this world. Though to find them is the hard part. Perhaps she is overthinking it? Letting out a sigh she decides to let the trail of thought go. What use is thinking on such things that would bring one down?

Coming upon a rock outcropping and a small pool of water she stops and glances around to see if others are there. She wouldn't want to meet someone unfriendly. Seeing nobody she steps forward and lowers her head. The water feeling cool around her muzzle as she moves to quench her thirst. Having quenched it she gives a sigh of pleasure. Delicious water. She hadn't realized how thirsty she was til she stopped. Probably shouldn't go as long without water.. Chiding herself gently for such a mistake she moves closer to one of the rocks.

Nevaeh didn't notice anyone approaching at first. Her thoughts trailed to what she was hoping to accomplish by traveling. Meeting others, interacting with the humans, and seeing interesting places. It wasn't til the stallion was a little bit away from her til she noticed him. Coming out of her thoughts her eyes catches movement which caused her to jump slightly. Eyes wide she is thankful that one eye is covered by her bangs. She gives a nervous chuckle. " Oh! I didn't see you there. I must have been lost in my thoughts for too long. Are you also traveling?"

She tilts her head as she inspects the stallion. Blue hair plaited and a coat with the most delicate markings she has ever seen. Pretty markings of flowers on a coat of white. Handsome in his own right. Very well groomed too. It is nice to come across someone that cares about their appearance. She gives a gentle smile." Where are my manners. Let me introduce myself. I am Nevaeh. May I know your name?"

Nevaeh looks up at the sky taking in it's appearance before nodding in agreement. "It is a lovely day to be out enjoying oneself. You aren't intruding at all! I am just a traveler and I don't mind company when I come across it." She watches as he bows to her and she gives a slight smile pleased by it.

Delft.. His name is Delft. She watches him as he makes sure his mane is just so. Much like she does at times." I am just passing through.I actually have no final destination. Seeing what places I come across and meeting new people. Are you a traveler too or are you just going for a stroll? "

Nevaeh chuckles and grins."It would have been a shame. Though thankfully I like to think I am a friendly mare. My fathers have always said I have been chatty. So there is no disturbance at all. " She smiles back at him gently.

She listens and takes his words in."How do you like this area if I may ask? From what I can tell it's a nice area. If you don't mind my curiosity, how many siblings do you have?"

Thinking on her travels she shakes her head." I guess it depends on your definition of far. I've been traveling for a few weeks, but I wouldn't say it is too far. I haven't seen any drastic change in climate yet."

Nevaeh chuckles at his words and feels a little flattered at the pretty face comment. It isn't something she is used to since most of the compliments she has received were from family. "True, I don't usually go looking for conversation. I guess it depends on my mood, but if someone comes over I try to at least be friendly.. If they have an annoying personality then that lowers to being civil. You never know what others will be like. "

She thinks about his answer and what it would be like to have siblings. She being an only child has never had anyone her age to play with so she has a more naive thought of what it would be like. Coming back to the present she smiles slightly apologetic at having drifted off into thought."That sounds lovely. As for me.. I was an only child. My fathers Zorion and Questrille found me just after I came out of my basket and took me in. Nobody came looking for me so I just assumed I was abandoned and put there for some reason. Not that it was a bad thing. I turned out fairly well I think."

She fixes her mane a little bit before answering his question. To her, the reasons which she wanted to travel sound sorta.. general... and silly now that she thinks about it."I wanted to travel because I wanted to see new sights and meet new people.. In the glen where I lived. I didn't really get to meet others that weren't part of my father's family or those they considered family. Growing up hearing about how my parents met also played a part of it too."

Nevaeh grins and tilts her head towards the sky. Chuckling she looks over at him." Yes they are very loving. My fathers were very happy when they found me. I have no idea why someone would abandon a baby but it's okay in my case. I grew up with two adoring fathers who did everything they could to make me happy. I was lucky. Please don't feel uncomfortable about it. I don't mind talking of the subject. I'm old enough that it doesn't bother me as it used to."

She laughs gently at his question." Oh definitely to say the least! My grandfather Kheelan set my parents up! Zorion, one of my fathers was a friend of grandpa Kheelan from his travels. Knowing of his preferences and seeing that my Dad Questrille had the same preferences. He sent his son to find Zorion. So it's quite funny that they were set up that way. My granddad boasts about it."

Curious she wonders about his family. "If I may ask. How big is your family?"

Nevaeh nods smiling. "Yes I am glad too. Who knows how I would have turned up if I was raised in a different setting. The possibilities are endless. Though I am glad that it turned out well."

She muses over her past a little. Did it really have an impact on her? She doesn't think it does.. Yet how would one know? These questions go through her mind. Realizing that she should be listening she brings herself back to the present.

"That would be interesting to find out. You never know until you go looking. Perhaps they would have some of the same features you do! Well marking wise anyway... I've thought about looking for my parents a few times. But they wouldn't recognize me nor I them. So what's the use? So instead I am traveling for myself. I think it would be interesting for you to travel and see. Who knows whom you will meet."

Nevaeh nods as she agrees with him." You do have a point. It is something we won't know as it is something that didn't come to pass." Her gaze looks at the sky for a moment as she thinks about his one word answer.

"There is always plenty of time to seek out relatives if that is what you wish to do. It's not like it is something that has to be done right away. I remember my father mentioning a tale of an older stallion that traveled to find some treasure even when his herd didn't think he would be able to do it. Though that's all I remember about that tale.. I wasn't the one in the family that was interested in stories too much."

Looking at him she considers his offer and nods." I think I would enjoy that. Sure I wouldn't mind." Moving forward she makes sure to keep her balance as she daintily walks down the hill.

She shakes her head at the question on the time she is planning on traveling."To be brutally honest. I haven't even thought of how long I am going to travel. I know I will make my way back to visit my parents. But when I don't really know. I guess my mind was on other things at the time. "
