Hey guys, I just wanted to toss out a few fun facts that might help you in the long run when it comes to future hunts. Especially when you end up doing High Rank guild runs. (Or even G Rank!)

Never Forget the Basics!

I mean basics by never forget the bare essentials when it comes to hunting. Herbs, Potions, Well-Done Steaks, Whetstones for melee, ammo for gunners, coats for bow users.
You have no idea how awkward and frustrating forgetting basic items that you should always stock up to the cap you can carry at any given time can become.

Location, location, LOCATION!

Check the area you're going to end up hunting in. Is it the Frozen Tundra area? Cap your Hot Drinks! Is is the Volcano? Better cap Cool Drinks! Which time of day is it in the Dunes? Always check the area before you leave on your quest!

A Stuffed Hunter is a Happy Hunter!

You can't get your awesome loots unless you stop by your culinary kitten! Make sure to try and eat a feast fit for a king before going out on your hunt to further increase your Health, Stamina, Attack, Defense, or other stats/resistances. That little extra always goes a long way.

Advanced Craftables!

When you start nearing towards High Rank quests where you may see yourself face down in the durt.. it doesn't help to bring a backup plan. Max Potions (or Ancient) are a great idea to take with you because you can only carry 2, and if you die and use one after death, it will cap your health to 150 (since health reverts to 100 after death.) Lifepowders are an awesome way to help out fellow hunters in online mode, it acts as a mega potion, and even spreads to the other hunters within your location if they are in a tight spot/imminent death!

You can Trade Potions with Others!

Don't forget, you can also GIVE items to other players (beneficial items, not monster carves/equipment) by going into Item, select said item you want to give, select Give, and choose the receiving hunter. But make sure they are aware you plan to give them the item, you hold it out and it turns into a shiny, and you can't move unless you cancel it or they "carve" the item from you. (They instantly receive it, there's no animation. lol)

If there's any helpful tips and hints you guys would like to give each other, feel free to post ideas and tips and stuff below!

I hope some of these help you out and keep you alive!
