Aselia smiled as she carried a tiny infant down from one of the lotus blooms on Aisha. It was her duty alongside Eshe to tend and help bloom the lotus' and bring out the infants to their new mothers. And sometimes fathers. An aspect that always made Aselia's eyebrow raised. Smiling as she approached the couple Aselia handed over the small child. "She's a strong fighter. Healthy just as Aisha intended." The infant was transferred from the prentice's arms to it's new mothers. With that out of the way, her duties were finally finished. Eshe often gave her this time to do whatever she wanted, and lately it had been searching out the location of the 'sister' who had helped to save her life. She wanted to meet this Alkidike, though she nothing about 'her'. What she had heard about Rishima however was that the Alkidike often came to sit under Aisha's roots to relax. This gave the young mystic in training a hope. There was word that this Rishima was journeying back to the tree today. And Aselia, now free from her daily rituals and tasks. Was now able to seek 'her' out. Smiling presently towards the couple, Aselia quickly darted away. She had been looking forward to this for a very very long time. Her heart lept about excitedly as she worked her way down towards Aisha's roots. The great mother tree often amazed her in fantastic ways. Near the roots Aselia began looking around. She had no idea what Rishima looked like, just that the words "You will know when you see Rishima." Rung clearly in her mind. Did this sister have her name tattooed on her arm by her markings? Eager to find who she was looking for Aselia began approaching every alkidike she could see to ask if Rishima was here yet.

There was the soft sound of the various accessories in Rishima's hair clinking together as the currently dark skinned 'sister' walked over toward Aisha, his mismatched eyes lifting to gaze up at the mother tree with a reverent look. It was always like homecoming when he approached Aisha, it was always something that made him feel a lot calmer and more relaxed, made everything just seem, well, peaceful. He gave a smile as he walked closer to the tree, nodding his head, "It's been some time, Mother Aisha, if it's alright I would like to sit with you for a time." He murmured, moving to settle down near to the roots of the mother tree, hands resting on the root, before he let his eyes close. It had been some time since he'd come for a visit, having been on patrol, kept away from the Chibale Isles for a time. Now that he was back a part of him wanted to stay right where he was for a time... though he knew he couldn't sit still forever. He needed to go back out after all, to see if he could find Gerraden, see if the boy was behaving himself, as well as see what it was that he was up to. He had been talking about building a house last he'd seen him, he wondered how he was doing at that. Giving a laugh at the thought he lifted his gaze to Aisha once more and said, "You have a lot of wonderful children in the world, mother, even those that you haven't seen since they were fresh from their lotuses, they are doing well. Some are a little hard headed and innocent though, those are the sort I feel I really should look after." With the war finally over he could do so, without constant worry where the Obans might be. It was weight off his shoulders and off his heart that he was glad to be rid of, one that made him feel infinitely lighter. As he chatted with Aisha his antennae gave a little twitch, feeling the footsteps of nearby sisters, but he wasn't too worried. Of course he wasn't the only one that was here to meet with her, so he didn't even look toward them. There were a few out there who might want to hassle him, he was different from them in many was, but tended not to due to his rank. Instead they left him alone as he rested beneath the welcoming branches of Aisha.

Two of the sisters Aselia had approached seemed to know the 'sister' named Rishima. This exited the young prentice. As she was motioned to follow, Aselia tried to remember how Eshe had taught her to act. It was hard, this was a very exiting moment for her. "I'm surprised you don't know Rishima yet." The first one spoke out as she led the way. "Maybe she doesn't know what he is. She could be one of those... you know... Them." The second whispered back to the first. Aselia was puzzled as she listened to her sisters talking. Eshe had never said anything about a them to her before. "What do you mean them!?" Aselia demanded. Her eyes flashing from one sister to the next. "Oh nothing, nothing. It's just, your old enough to be wandering right? Why haven't you met him before? We just... thought." There it was again. Him. Were these Alkidike spending too much time among the earthlings and away from Aisha? Aselia was no longer listening to the sisters talking. As they climbed over another of Aisha's large roots. "There's Rishima. We'll be on our way now." Said one of the sisters as she pointed to a solitary figure. Aselia starred on as her heart flopped and her body filled with a renewed energy. Balling her hands into fists the young prentice moved forward swiftly. Scanning over the mixed blood before her. Was this the powerful Rishima? A mixed blood? Approaching Aselia spoke. "Are you the one they call Rishima?"

He was aware of those who were nearby chatting, having heard their voices, though it was far enough that he couldn't quite make out what it was that they were saying. It wasn't his business either so he wasn't trying to overheard either, leaving the conversations of his sisters to them. It wasn't until he heard one of them approaching him that he paused in his chatting with Aisha, his antennae gave a twitch before he turned, looking up at the girl who was standing along side him. He gave her a smile as she asked him his name, "Yes, I am Rishima, is there anything I can do to help you, sister?" He asked as he pushed himself to his feet before he turned to face her. Rishima found himself starring for a moment, his antennae once more twitching. She looked familiar to him for some reason, though he wasn't sure why that was. She must be one that he'd passed by before while he was visiting home, perhaps? As he studied her a breeze came through, one that set Aisha's leafs to rustling as well as making the various decorative rings and beads in his hair to clink together. It was as though she were speaking to him, nudging him forward, which made him all that much more curious as to who this might be. Someone important, of that he was suddenly certain, which caused his curiosity to rise rapidly, instantly wanting to know who she might be. "If I may ask, what is your name, sister?" He asked of her, feeling that if he knew her name that he might very well figure out why it was that he felt as though he knew her.

Aselia beamed brightly as Rishima acknowledged her question. This was the 'sister' who had saved her!? Rishima wasn't a sister at all but a brother. Was he part shifter? This was something new to the young prentice. She had never imagined that a mixed blood would be the one capable of so many feats, She had heard about them all in rumor. But what she had failed to hear was that she was actually a he. "Well yes and no." Aselia replied twitching her antenna as she turned to Aisha with a grin. This really was Rishima! "My name is Aselia. I never imagined that you would look like this. Eshe didn't really tell me much about you." She couldn't help but stare back at the strong mixed Alkidike before her. It was clear he cared for Aisha very much, but she had to ask one more question. Just to be sure it was really the right Alkidike. "You brought Eshe the Suruhama feathers?"

Silver_tigress18 *luffs* Sorry about the late post, not sure how I missed your tag. @_@;; Rishima gave a smile when she said 'yes and no' to his question, feeling that if he gave her time that she might explain to him what that meant. He waited, giving her the time she needed, and she was soon introducing herself and saying that he wasn't what she'd imagined he'd looked like, a comment that made him chuckle a little, "I a bit different from our sisters, but I am the same where it counts." He said, resting one hand over his heart, before he said, "I hope that I live up to what you imagined save for the physical differences." He couldn't help but to wonder what it was that she'd imagined, as well as why. Especially when Eshe's name was menioend. Her next question had him nodding again, "Yes, some time ago Eshe sent me to Sauti to find the elusive bird so that I could get some feathers for a..." He trailed off, his mismatched eyes going a little wide, his antennae twitching quite rapidly for a moment before he asked, "Wait, wait... are you that tiny little youngling?" She wasn't tiny anymore, no long in danger, but instead looking fit and healthy, something that made quite happy knowing that she'd gone on to prosper so well. He'd checked in on her a few times when she was still tiny, still recovering, but life had dragged him in various directions before he was able to really get to meet her when she was older. Seeing her now, if this was truly the same child, was something that gave Rishima great joy.

Aselia's arms crossed over her chest as she waited. Her eyes scanning over the mixed blooded alkidike before her. It was true he was different. But was he correct in saying that his heart was the same? Her eyes cast from Rishima to Aisha and back again. Perhaps he was still somewhat like what she had thought. She had been warned that Rishima wouldn't be what she had expected, but the worst her mind had thought was an injured sister. Not a powerful and strong warrior. The young Mystic to be knew Eshe didn't trust just anyone for certain things. Was there meaning behind the tasks Eshe gave. "You're right, you are different then what I had imagined you to be. Then again, I had been warned. I'll know better next time." Aselia gave a pout as she waited. Surely this Alkidike would remember her? Who could possibly forget infants that they had saved? Shifting from one foot to the next as she listened slowly Aselia nodded impatiently. "For a child born premature?" Aselia was muttering the end of his sentence under her breath. Tapping a finger on her arm as she nodded. "Yes, I'm that tiny youngling you helped save. Eshe raised me. And I'm... Like her. I can talk to Aisha, I can..." Aselia shoved her hands out in front of her and concentrated hard at the center of where they touched side by side. It took a few moments before a tiny flicker of flame flashed died and returned. Flickering again for a moment before dying away. "Well. I'm not great at magic... but... You get the idea. I'm like Eshe."

Rishima gave a bit of a laugh, unable to quite help it, "That's quite alright, being just see seen as 'different then you imagined' is far better then being a possible disappointment." He could easily live with being different then she'd imagined, not as though that was the worst thing that he heard in his time he thought to himself before he gave her a smile, "Well, so long as you promise to give those like me a chance in the future then I don't mind the mix up at all." There were good people amongst those with mixed blood after all but perhaps she'd be the same as her teacher, the same as Eshe, who had been quite kind of him in the past as well.
As the girl set to excited to telling him about herself, about how she was like Eshe, that she could talk to Aisha his eyes went a bit wide, "Really?" He sounded surprised but impressed, not to mention intrigued. From what he'd heard there were only supposed to be a set amount of Mystics, wasn't there? Yet now they had three of them to serve Aisha, what a wonderful blessing the mother tree had given them he thought to himself. He was drawn out of his thoughts as the girl called up a little lick of flame, showing him a bit of what she could do. It was something that made his mismatched eyes go a bit wide before he gave a laugh, "I am impressed, Aselia. I hear that magic is a difficult thing to learn so for one your age to already be able to call upon it is quite a feat."
He'd never been able to do much with magic himself, instead learning the art of wielding a spear. He had to admit that he was impressed by those who were able to use such powers, "Just keep practicing and I am sure you will get it with time." He encouraged his younger sister.

Aselia blinked, how could he be a disappointment? He had made so many feats and he was clearly a very strong warrior who loved Aisha. That alone was enough, though his features were something else. Tradition didn't leave room for hybrids. And yet, with the war having come and gone. Traditions for many had been changed. She had heard rumor of a tribe of earthlings slaves to another tribe. And that they had been freed to live as they wish. They were now exploring other lands. Lands that the earthlings inhabited in a wide variety of forms. Tradition kept them close to home but her sisters were already breaking that rule and traveling and discovering. Maybe it was ok to let in a few hybrids. The prentice chewed on the inside of her lip in thought. Her orbs flecked up to watch Rishima. He was asking her to give those like him a chance. She took in a deep breath. She owed life to Rishima, Eshe, and Aisha. "I promise to give hybrids like you a chance, the ones who follow Aisha." Only after she had stated her promise Aselia cringed inwardly. What would Kadriye and Eshe have to say about the small break in tradition? No she wouldn't dwell on it. She had made a promise and she hadn't broken one yet and she wasn't going to start doing so now. As Rishima encouraged her magic Aselia pouted. "Kadriye was able to make figures in the sand at my age."

Rishima smiled and nodded, "That's a good place to start and I thank you." He knew that there were others out there, those like Gerraden, who were born of Aisha but followed their own path. They might not fall under her vow but it was alright, just the fact that she was willing to accept those sisters who did serve Aisha and their sisters as Rishima did, that was a good first step. One day he'd like to see something more come of it, to see the others accepted as well. It might not happen in his time but it was still a nice dream to dream. Especially given the fact that he cared for those like Gerraden and Yaholo, knew that Yaholo had children of his own born of Aisha though he hadn't met them, and wanted to see them all given the same welcome. Giving a bit of a laugh as Aselia pouted he said, "And my wonderful sister Jerarda was able to take on all maner of things with her bare hands while I still didn't know which end of the spear went into the bad guys. We all learn at our own pace, what matters most is that you don't give up. Just keep at it, sister."

Aselia's eyes narrowed her antenna drooping against her head. He sounded just like Eshe, with all the talk of learning at their own pace. She herself was getting frustrated that she was somehow weaker than Kadriye. Her antenna twitched at the mention of another sister, one that was strong but knew things that Rishima did not. She looked to the side to think a moment, was it possible that maybe like this other sister there were things she was better at than Kadriye? The thoughts made her eager to try out other things. Looking back to Rishima, Aselia gave a simple nod. "Yes perhaps we do learn at our own pace. I just don't want to be a slow learner." Shifting back and forth on her feet Aselia smiled a little. At least now she had met Rishima. Without having to leave Aisha to do so. It warmed her heart a little. Though Eshe had insisted that she could travel, since even she had done so at Aselia's age. Her antenna gave another twitch. "You've been freely moving to the various places outside of Aisha. What are they like? Do you have a favorite?"

Rishima gave a smile, "I am sure you will get the hang of things with time and practice." He said in a reassuring manner, not wanting to see his little sister get discouraged when she was still young yet. Of course as a prentice things would come to her a little slower but he was sure that she would be able to get the hang of things with time. At least that was what he felt. "I have traveled here and there in my time, the furthest I have gone is Zena, though it's been some time since I visited that place. A few trips to Sauti, and Tale from time to time." He said, then thought on it a moment, "Hm, though it's quite distant I might have to say that Zena was quite beautiful. It was really cold there, requiring us to bundle up, and the hats were terrible since it squished ones antennae down, but the land itself was still lovely." He let his mismatched eyes close as he thought about the distance, snow covered land that he hadn't visited since ages ago. Giving a smile he continued, opening his eyes once more, "At times it was extremely quiet too, especially when the snow was falling, that was when it felt as though there was no sound at all. Quite an interesting place for sure. While we were there I stayed in a cave with my sister Jerarda, even with all the snow it was surprisingly warm inside of it so long as he we had a fire going near the entrance."

Smiling as Aselia paid close attention to everything that Rishima was saying. From her abilities to the world of this Zena, shuddering at the mention of her antenna being squished under a hat. That didn't sound comfortable, not to mention confining. How did ones antenna manage to survive under such a thing. She watched as he closed his eyes. Aselia couldn't imagine what it would have been like to be cold. Aisha had always been her home. She hadn't experienced anything but the temperature she had always lived in.
A puzzled expression crossed her features. How could something falling have no sound? Let alone make the world seem even quieter than it already was. "The fire created a barrier? Like a door to the warmth?" Aselia was interested by the idea. Her dark orbs looking down to her hands curiously. Flexing her fingers towards her palm and back out again. Maybe one day she would have the ability to control her own magic in such a way. The idea made her smile.
"You enjoyed traveling though? I'm thinking it might be a good idea to visit the cities in Jauhar. I've heard so much from the other sisters. But I don't know if I should leave Eshe alone with the duties."

Rishima nodded his head, "Yes, it kept the cold at bay allowing the two of us to enjoy the warmth of the fire but also watch the snow fall. It was a rather beautiful sight." He said with a smile, kind of missing those days. Things were a bit easier, when he didn't have the same amount of responsibility that he had now. Not that he minded serving Aisha and his sisters of course. Giving a little laugh he said, "Maybe I will visit Zena again if I get the chance to do." If he found himself either with a task that brought him there or if he had some extended time off, the former being a little more likely. "I do enjoy traveling, yes, I don't get as far away these days, but it's still something that I enjoy doing." He would like to try to do more of it one day, maybe see the new lands of Oba and Matori when things were more settled down. Not right now, but one day perhaps. Giving Aselia a bright smile he said, "You should travel while you can, even if its not far to see more and learn more then you can if you stay here on the Chibale Isles." When she explained her fears of leaving all the work to Eshe he said, "Well, at least you have the aid of Kadriye when it comes to aiding Eshe with her work?" He thought about it for a moment then added, "If you are truly worried maybe take short trips? Or ones that involve helping her out? See if she needs any errands done that involve leaving the Isles? I have done a few tasks here and there for the elders myself so there is always the chance that they will have something they need done that you can help with. It's win win then if you are able to see new places while doing your work." That was the way he saw it at least. He just hoped, that with her being a Mystic, her being special, that he wasn't out of line in giving her such suggestions. He might be high ranked but he was still no elder.

Aselia glanced back towards Eshe's home. The elder Mystic had said nearly the same thing. Traveling was important, she hadn't really thought of using various tasks as a means of being allowed to travel. Even though others were able to do that. Rishima was right however, using the ability to gather things as a way to travel was an acceptable way. Even if she had already been given the permission to leave for a bit before finally tying herself to Aisha permanently. She would need to know the lay of Jauhar and the world that her sisters experienced being away from Aisha and surrounded by earthlings. "Eshe has given permission for me to travel. But it doesn't feel right. Though I am sure it's probably for the best." Aselia nodded. "I am glad I am finally able to meet you. I've wanted too for such a long time, but I've been busy with studies and learning. "
