Kari stared at the mysterious portal before her. It seemed safe enough, since she'd seen various creeple traipse through without issue, and a few had even taken a bite out of it. Surely, whatever was on the other side couldn't be bad, otherwise the student council wouldn't allow entry... right?
Steeling herself, the ghoul took a running leap into the swirling brown center. It felt... gooey... yet nothing stuck to her clothing. Strange.
Upon reaching the other side, Kari felt the wind rush around her as gravity took hold and drew her downward. Why was there no ground? This wasn't safe, she was falling! Daring to look down through the whipping tails of her scarf, she saw a large expanse of brown liquid below her. Whether she liked it or not, this looked to be her destination.
Tucking herself into a ball, she held her breath just before she hit the surface. The feel of the liquid held the same consistency as the portal, yet this liquid was much more clingy. Paddling upward, Kari gasped as she broke the surface. in doing so, some of the brown liquid dropped into her mouth.
"Chocolate?", she murmured, dipping her hand in once more and tasting the edge of her finger. Sure enough, the subtance she'd fallen into appeared to be giant pool of chocolate. Looking around yielded nothing to grab onto... it looked like her only course of action was to swim toward the pool's edge. Swimming wasn't really Kari's forte, being a fire mage, but luckily the edge didn't look too far away.
