These portals sure as heck were strange... but not all too bad. The last one she'd ventured into was actually pretty nice. She had no qualms about it. And so when the ghoul decided to venture near the Forbidden Forest, she wasn't put off or surprised by the sight of a third portal. Like the ones prior, the shape of it was odd, and it had a different colour than before the others. For a moment the grand bois pondered the option to enter... but eventually came to the conclusion that it couldn't hurt to see what was inside. So far nothing too dangerous had come of the other ones. And so, with her trusty moth companions around her, she stepped in to cross to the other side of the portal

Once inside, Ev looked around at everything near her, absorbing the setting. It was warmly, and faintly lit, with gentle candles, making one feel relaxed but also a bit nervous at the same time. It was hard to see, but there was a very clear sight of a pair of bears seated at a little table... gazing at one another. Ev stayed very still, watching them, as though expecting to be acknowledged, or for them to move or say something. But... they didn't. Slowly, the ghoul approached them, looking curiously between the two, but they never looked at her. But their arms did raise and fall at random, making gestures of... eating? Blinking at them, she slowly smiled. How cute... they were having a meal together. But they needed some food.. Looking around, she realized there were ingredients nearby that were at her disposal! With a small affirmative nod, she looked back to the pair, "Don't worry, I'll have your meals ready in just a moment." she promised, turning to begin gathering the ingredients.

Quote: Milk Chocolate Red Roses Ribbon The ghoul walked around to take into account all the options available, thoughtfully tapping her chin in thought. What would a pair of stuffed bears eat? normal ones would love meat, especially fish, and berries, but... these were false ones. Perhaps it would be better to match to the occasion they were eating for... romance. But Ev was far from even knowing a thing about it, besides in the stories she read, and the tales her parents would tell her of their true love and finding one another. It was so lovely, each time she heard about it!
Well.... chocolates were a trademark icon for romance. So she plucked up some milk chocolate bars, followed by a few red roses, and ribbons in a variety of colours; ranging from whites, creams, to pinks and reds. This would take some imagination! but she had done well in the Hades Kitchen contest, so she was certain she'd be able to make up something that was acceptable!

With her ingredients in tow, Ev got to work preparing the dishes She began with the milk chocolate, which was chopped into small, little squares, that were bite size, and perfectly lined on each side. She set them up on two different pristine plates, making sure they made a little grid like design, before moving on to the roses. Each rose was plucked to do away with the wilting petals, but the more lush, and plump ones further within the enclosed flower were kept and cut into tiny pieces. She sliced and diced them, and sprinkled them atop the chocolate squares. The other remaining chocolate squares were placed on top of the sprinkled ones, and given a good press to make sure they stuck firmly together. When they were all sandwiched, the ghoul took a few more petals, keeping them as is, and laid them on top of the squares. To complete the look, she took the various ribbon and lined them up together with corresponding colours that complemented each other, going from darkest colours on the outside, to the lightest on the inside. She tied them around the chocolate rose sandwiches, and made sure they each had a large bow on top.
Primping the bows a little, she chopped and diced some of the remaining rose petals and sprinkled them along the plate for drama, and cut up some of the thorny stems to place as garnish beside the chocolate squares. With the food plated, and complete, she walked them over to the two bears, and placed one plate in front of each of them. She waited patiently for them to take a taste, their arms moving simultaneously to pick one up, and crunch right into it. It was in that instant that the ghoul was able to see a portal back home appear. Smiling, she gave a little respectful bow to her customers, before taking her leave.
