This is a central area located in the middle of the grounds. It has a nice fountain in the middle with bench seats and flowerpots surrounding the fountain. This a place where if you just need to regain some peace and sanity, go sit by the fountain for a while and let the sound of the running water soothe your soul.

XXXTana could only thank whatever entity would listen, that Kido Corps was still standing. So why was she so stressed lately? She was more stressed than usual for the past month, but that was probably the feeling that everyone was suffering with. The visions were getting worse; today she saw the entire Kido Corps building covered in gnats and maggots. There were no screams this time, but it sure was a bitter alternate reality. Yesterday, she visioned one of the Kido Corps members in Espada clothing and a hollow hole right in the center of his face. She didn't mention it to him; hell, she never mentions these visions to people, that's how good she is at hiding her tribulations.
"Hn, I wonder what Chief Hakadoshi is doing..." She mumbles, sitting up on the bench she was resting on and lowering the notepad in her hand. She was organizing her to-do list for today, but the beginning of her day lacked her insufferable Captain's presence. "I mean, it is pleasant. I think?" She asked herself, somewhat missing that part to her day; what on earth was that man doing this time? Probably getting buzzed. Lord, Tana could never understand the appeal to alcohol. She could probably understand a strawberry daiquiri or a glass of red wine, but booze or whiskey never tickled her fancy. She solemnly had alcohol, only during formal occasions where it just seemed proper to accept a complimentary drink.
With a huff and furrowed brows, Tana looked down at her organized schedule in the little comfort of the courtyard and continued to pick apart what she would be doing for today. She had a lot of paper work to do, and it just kept on piling up. Because of the situation that had taken place only a month ago, quite a lot of the Corporation's members left in fear of their lives, even though it was just squad four that had been attacked. The Kido Corps members, a group of individuals that depended more on their brains than muscle, felt as if they couldn't take their chances; so they resigned. Because of this, Tana had about twenty two or so forms of resignation that she had to stamp and bring to Tanamaru. Only God knows what that man does with all of that paperwork. "Done!" She said with a huff of completion. She tapped her red pen tip against the note pad and closed her tiny book. She then pulled out a stack of papers in a bulky folder, prepared to fill out more paper work.

xxxTanamaru had had a very not so relaxing morning. Because of everything that had happened in this past month, he had had several people quit the Kido corps and that left him underhanded. H e was helping to oversee the repairs to squad four as he got the chance,but now he was also scouting the members of the academy, trying to see who would be a suitable replacement for those who had quit. He also had to find a way to strengthen the barrier around Soul Society to make sure that nobody would be able to attack like that again without facing some serious consequences. Not to mention that they had to figure out a way to rescue their captured comrades. He had been pouring over the paperwork and his books all morning, trying to figure everything out when he realized that he hadn't bothered his cute Lieutenant this morning. Thinking that she might miss him if he didn't bother her a little bit, he had set aside his work, putting everything away so she wouldn't see what he was up to. He didn't want her to know that he was actually capable of doing work. The she would expect him to do it all the time. He walked around until he found her in the courtyard making her own lists of things to do or work on. He wasn't sure which. Chuckling a little he walked around until he was behind her before poking her shoulder a bit. "Taaaannnaaaa-Chan~ Why are you looking so serious today? Lighten up and relax. You're going to get stress lines if you keep this attitude up." He said with a small chuckle as he looked around, trying to figure out what was going on around the squad. He was going to have to find a way to increase morale again so everyone would relax and go back to the normal routine. He didn't like the stressful environment. It wasn't good for anyone's health. While he was having to get a little more serious, he was still having a good time and not getting stressed over it all. Getting stressed just wasn't going to do anyone any good. You couldn't think as well if you were stressed out. People just needed to learn to take life one day at a time. Letting a goofy grin rest on his face, watching her for what her reaction was going to be.

xxxTanamaru grinned as she seemed to give him a fun reaction. She always was a person who was able to let him have a little fun. He chuckled a little as she complained before giving up on it and telling him to sit down and tell her what his next course of action was. He sat down on a bench near her and laid back, propping his head on his hands as he used them as leverage to look behind him at her. He could tell she was trying to act annoyed with him, but there was that undertone that he was actually happy and the normalcy of the whole situation. He hummed as he bent his left leg at the knee so it was sitting raised up and crossed his right over it, bouncing his right foot back and forth as he thought of how to answer her question without letting her know just how much he had been doing. He grinned as he took one hand out from underneath his head and reached over, aiming to poke at her side a bit. "I'll be doing the same thing I do everyday Tana-Chan. Going with the flow and see what happens." He said with another chuckle as he thought about what to serious tell her as he let her steam on that response for a minute. He honestly didn't mind being the only one who would remain positive in all of this. If it brought his squad even a little bit of relief that he wasn't acting any differently, then he would continue to do so and make everyone in his squad smile. Putting his hand back under his head, he looked up to the sky and watched the clouds for several moments before his attention returned to Tana. "Seriously though. There's not much we can do but continue normal routine until the Head Captain tells us what to do. It wouldn't be very smart to try and do anything rash on our own." He said with a shrug of his shoulders, more then content to help with the rebuilding of Squad 4 and making sure that this never happened again. He still just hadn't quite figured that part out yet. He was debating whether or not to get her input on it to see what she thought, but he also didn't want her to know what he had been actually looking it up to figure it out. Maybe at some other time when he felt more comfortable he wouldn't get caught.

xxxTanamaru frowned when she asked if he was always drunk or something because he was able to act so calm. Sitting up and propping himself on one elbow, he looked over at her and gave her a hurt look. "Tana-Chan~ How could you say something mean like that to me?" He whined a bit before chuckling a little and shrugging, laying back down as he went back to cloud watching. He heard her start to talk and bit back the sigh that wanted to get past his lips. Of course she was worried. However, she was overthinking it. Sitting himself up, he moved so that he was once again behind her before wrapping one arm across her shoulders in a hug as the other gently ran down her hair, a small smile playing on his lips. "Tana-chan. You are overthinking things again. Kido is always going to be an important part of the Seiretei. We are never going to not be needed. And even if we find ourselves not needed here in the Kido corps, then I'm sure the other squads would be more then happy to have us as an extra pair of hands to help. We'll find more members in the academy who will be perfect for our little team, maybe even some in the regular troops who don't quite fit into their squad. Even if we have to accomplish it now, I feel we could, because I have a very capable squad under me who can reach that above and beyond if they have to to protect everyone here." He said before letting her go and moving back to his bench so he could lay back down and look back up at the sky as a small smile stayed on his lips. He watched her out of the corner of his eye to dodge any retaliation he might throw his way. He didn't expect to get away with that without her trying to hit him or something like that. He did need to look into new recruits though. They needed to strengthen their numbers again. Even with the numbers the had, even if it was possible, it would be difficult to maintain. He figured each of the members of his squad strong in their own ways and able to hold their own in a fight, but he also knew that they also had their limitations. He would worry about that later though. For now he had to worry about cheering up his little Tana.

  Hopping across rooftops was the most expeditious way to travel in the center court, he felt some small measure of pity for the lower ranking sorts that couldn't just hop where they liked as freely as he could. He had to grudgingly admit there were perks to having higher levels of influence. He flickered between tiles, his feet barely touching down before he was off again. He'd put off this meeting in the aftermath of the attacks, but now that he had proper samples it seemed prudent to both meet the kido commander and ask for their aid or opinions on his research.
Nyhil's swift relocation left him about ten feet from the Tana's, he offered a proper bow even while his uniform and hair settled from the wind brought about by his flash steps. “A pleasure Captain Hakadoshi, Lieutenant Laveau. I am Nyhil Dakkar, Lieutenant and acting Captain of Squad Twelve. If I'm interrupting I can return at another time, but if you aren't otherwise engaged I'd appreciate a moment of your time. Otherwise, I'd like to make an appointment to speak soon, I have been working on an invention that would utilize your specialty’s.”

xxxTanamaru watched her carefully as she thanked him and gave him a forced smile. He knew something bad was coming and barely had enough time to tense up before her folder was landing on his chest. He grunted and let out a small cough as she rolled over onto his side and put his arms across his chest, giving his second a small glare. "Geesh Tana-chan. I was only trying to make you feel better. So abusive~" He whined again. Though it quickly turned into a grin again as he saw that childish grin on her face. He was winning her over. He just had to work on her a bit more. He sighed as he waved his hand in dismissal as she tried to be serious about her not being touched, especially affectionately. Well, he would warm her up to him. It would just take a little more time. At least she admitted that he had helped her feel better. Rolling back so he was once again laying on his back, he relaxed again as he tried to think of what to do next. Before he could think to much on it though, he sensed an approaching spiritual pressure and frowned a bit before he placed it as a Shinigami. He sighed as he stood up, straightening out his clothes and adjusting his twin Zanpaktou as the sight that started to greet him was that of the 12th squad's lieutenant. He watched him bow and ran a small hand through his hair as he sighed a bit. Why did everyone insist on bowing and being respectful to him? After a while it just got on his nerves. He heard him out though and raised a small eyebrow at the request. That was interesting. Some invention that would use Kido huh? Maybe this could help them with the problem of not having enough members. Letting out a small breath, he nodded his head a bit and made a follow motion. "Worry not about interrupting anything Lieutenant Dakkar. Me and my Lieutenant were just discussing our options on our latest issues. Come. We'll talk more in my office." He said as he turned a smile on Tana to let her know that she was welcome to join them if she wanted to before turning his back to them and starting his walk to his office. Just to make it a little faster, he started to Shunpo until he got to the building.

Nyhil rose and glanced to his fellow lieutenant when she began to speak. Taking the lieutenant's question at face value, he answered her. "Prior to this I was at the Seshiro residence helping with the regeneration of a limb, a pity he didn't seek me out sooner. It would have made it easier on him."
Canting his head and taking in the words of her suggestion he kept his fave neutral. High fives? Well, that was regrettable but he would have to put forth the effort in the future. He smiled then, nodding to her. "I would much prefer to be friends with my comrades here in the squadrons."
Few people immediately asked him to be anyone's friend so he was quite cheered by the thought as he followed the pair off toward the offices. Keeping up with a practiced ease since flash steps were his primary method of travel in the court.
