This is probably the least likely area you will find him in, but on the rare occasion he does show up to do some work, then he has a nicely decorated room and a desk area for him and his second.

xxxTanamaru entered his office with a small sigh before going over to his desk and sitting down in his chair, placing a piece of paper on his desk and picking up his pen, balancing it between his top lip and nose as he leans back in his chair, propping his feet up on his desk and rocking a bit. He wondered just what that Lieutenant's invention will be. If it did indeed run off of Kido, then it was possible that he would have a little more time to find more members for his squad. He was going to have to start looking through the academy and new recruits. If possible, he wanted to get more members then he had lost. Humming a bit as he mulled on it, he tilted his head as his door opened and another member walked in carrying a tray with some tea cups on it. He smiled and patted their head."Thank you. I won't be requiring anything else for a while. So go about your normal duties for now until I say otherwise."He said in a soft tone before taking a sip of his tea and looking towards the window as he debated with himself about what his day should look like. He had already had his fun bothering his precious Tana. So he needed to find something else to do afterwards when he was done with the Twelfth Lieutenant. He was still curious about what invention he had in mind to do, but knew he would find it out soon enough. He hoped that Tana would show up as well. He would enjoy her input with whatever it was. She was one of his smarter subordinates and might be able to look at it from a different angle then him. With that thought in mind, a smile crossed his lips and he continued to rock in his chair, sipping on his tea as he did so.

Nyhil followed the other pair to the office, scanning it over curiously before helping himself to some tea. It seemed after the previous correction it would be foolish to ask first. He waited for his fellow lieutenant to be settled as well, smiling widely as he glanced between the pair. He finished a sip of his tea before launching into his explanation.
“So, I have been thinking that with the lack of many kido masters in the courts at this time, that it may do the troops good if they had some form of portable kido carried in a container that can be released upon impact. I have had some success with minor kido thus far, I have some examples but it would be better not to demonstrate the more aggressive spells indoors. And thus far unfortunately it has been quite difficult to both cast and capture a spell at the same time. I had several miscasts during that portion of development.” He stated thoughtfully, leaning forward to add some honey and lemon to his tea, stirring it and muttering more to himself than the Tana's. “It took me three hours to get that fire out...and it was on the surface that was already fire retardant. I can only imagine it would burn this room out completely if a similar mishap took place.”
He looked around the room, eyeing the structure, he could tell other wards or spells that were in place thanks to the effects of his glasses, and nodded to himself; sticking by that assessment. Another sip of tea later and he launched back into his explanation. “While having some low level kido figured out and set up with this method is fine, many shinigami can already use the spells that have been captured on their own. I would like to make it a joint venture and between us attempt to come up with a design capable of capturing and successfully re-releasing kido of a myriad of styles and levels.”
Throughout their conversation, it would likely be noted that Nyhil doesn't blink when directly looking at either of them, only when he moves his head to glance between them.

XXXWhile Tanamaru helped himself to his chair and Nyhil helped himself to some tea, Tana helped herself to some more coffee; the flavor this time was Caramel Carnival. The flavors this time were reminiscent of the years Tana spent at the academy with little time to get ready each day. She would pop a caramel candy in her mouth and chug down the entire coffee pot, simply because she did not discover the glory that was caramel. Her face tinted again and a sigh escaped her lips once she entered to room. Not paying attention to where she was going, Tana slammed her arms against the door frame. It was hard enough where it actually left quite the bruise, but she didn't even notice it. Tana would go to her usual seat and sink into its squishiness. Tana reached for her tea cup and poured the remainder of her coffee in it. She was interested in what the lieutenant had in store. The minute Tana heard the room 'fire,' she immediately sunk into her seat as if suddenly hostile. If her chair were to burn down, bad things... She'd probably die actually. Just die. Nothing else. But, Tanamaru was smart enough to protect the room, right? "That's a pretty impressive invention Mr. Dakkar. With it patented, I could see many kido users recover reiatsu over time while still 'preforming' kido techniques." The concept of the invention was actually very clever despite it being just an idea. "And guessing that individuals not as proficient in kido could use the kido of another person, it would cause more people to become more interested and engaged in kido..." She mumbled in deep concentration. Tana delivered an equally focused stare at the man before nodding. "I like it, I like it a lot Mr. Dakkar." She admitted with a nod of approval. Though her expression seemed serious and nearly stoic, she was sincere with her words. "Captain Tanamaru...?" She asked as she turned to Tanamaru with the same expression. "What do you think?" She asked as she took a sip of her tea and coffee mixture. It wasn't as good as the original coffee she would drink, but it would have to do. "I'm open to the idea if my compliments weren't enough." She says, flashing a small grin at the end.

xxxTanamaru watched as they both entered and got settled, Nyhil partaking in the tea while Tana just drank her coffee. He shook his head a bit as he chuckled a little at her. Sometimes he just didn't understand his little second. He frowned as he noticed the bruise on her arm. Was it from when she hit to door? Most likely. He just planned on keeping an eye on it and see if it got any worse. If it did, then he would say something. Sometimes her abnormally high pain tolerance could get the poor girl in trouble. She better just be glad she wasn't bleeding. Then he would have to take care of that first and foremost. Turning his attention on Nyhil as he started to talk about his invention, the wheels in his head started to turn. Tana's idea of it maybe stimulating people into wanting to learn Kido helped that idea along as he slowly nodded his head, his expression turning serious for half a second before the smile easily returned. If you weren't paying attention, you would have easily missed it, making it look like he wasn't really paying attention when he was indeed taking in every detail of the plan carefully into his head so he could consider all possibilities of this. He heard Tana give it her approval after had finished and mulled on it for a few moments longer, even though he had pretty much made up his mind of what he was going to do. Closing his eyes and letting out a small yawn, he stretched a bit before cracking open one eye and looking at Nyhil."So you want us to cast the Kido while your team captures the Kido for future use? Well, if my dear Tana-chan is giving the plans compliments, then I think it is a good idea as well. Especially if it will help keep any mishaps from happening."He said with a smile towards Tana as he had seen her smile. He did think it was a good idea, and if it went off without a hitch, then it would very possible once again light that flame for Kido, and he could hopefully recruit more members then he had lost. Maybe this whole thing was a blessing in disguise. At least that was his hope. Maybe Tana was thinking along the same lines as he was. He couldn't be to sure right now though. He only hoped that this wouldn't come to bite any of them in the butt. Sure, all of his squad was proficient in Kido, but if he believed correctly, only him and Tana could cast kido above level 70 with ease and still not be breathing hard. So they were probably going to be the main one's who were partaking in this experiment. Of course he couldn't leave them unsupervised, so at least one of them would have to be on the premises at any given time to take care of that odd emergency that came up. So this little experiment might get a little interesting and give him something to do other then be bored out of his mind.

“Good, good, having some practiced users on board will really help speed along the process. I have been trying to master more kido myself but it is a time consuming process.” Nyhil smiled a bit wider at the acceptance, fangs flashing and easier to see at his amusement. He presumed he’d have to do a little more convincing. He was already considering what else he could work on, and ways that the kido could be implemented. “This could be a big step in crafting other reliable objects with kido stored within them, it could be a great method to eventually use to forge armor for some of the lower ranking troops beyond just the weaponry options.”
Nyhil launched into a long list of possibilities and uses of kido he could think of when combined with objects properly, which lead into an even longer explanation as to how the storage method worked and the precise methods used to trap a kido when it was about to become active as opposed to doing so once it was already active. All of which involved the use of long words that sounded completely fabricated but involved the use of more complex or esoteric concepts when it came to spirit energy and it’s use, absorption, and re-release. He’d been started up now, and it seemed he could go forever if someone didn’t interrupt him.

XXX"Oh God! He's a vampire...!" Tana thought as she caught a glimpse of the man's fangs. She paused her drinking and would sink in her seat a bit more. When he spoke happily about his plans, Tana literally stared directly at his mouth. Her teeth were sharper than most in order to preform some of her abilities, but this man's teeth could probably bite holes through wood! But after a few minutes of him going on with his intricate and impressive vocabulary and flashy yet practical ideas, Tana had to stop him. "Mr. Dakkar~!" She called out in a calm and unintentionally sing-song tone. "My apologies for interrupting you, and while I do admire your above-average intelligence and innovative ideas, let's take this one step at a time and start with the beta project of your Kido storage device." She quietly stated as she sat up in her seat, a quaint grin on her face. This interested Tana, and she found herself taking charge on this opportunity. "So, what do you have in mind as the next step to your project?" She asked, finishing the last of her coffee.

Nyhil covered a yawn, but not before his fellow Lieutenant would have gotten a clear view of his fangs. Shaking his head once. “Apologies, I haven't had much rest. I would like a chance to show you what I've already done as far as capturing kido, so you can tell me yourself if you feel the energy feels as it should. Then I would like to start trying to capture other higher level kido or figure out ways to augment the beads so they will best catch and retain power. Once I'm able to retain it for a short time reliably I can work on extending the safe period before it will start to degrade. I'll need to consider how long they can safely be kept in numbers once they're stable to see how long that stability lasts. It's of little use long term if it does not hold for a long time.”
His wariness he covered readily as he continued to speak about his work. “I'd say the first step would be meeting up at a later time and demonstrating my work thus far. I am quite busy tomorrow during the day but I'll be free in the evening.”

XXXWhile Tana was a woman of logic, she was also a witch-doctor's apprentice when she was mortal, so she couldn't help but feel somewhat apprehensive being around someone that shares so many similarities with the creatures that she was taught to banish. Tana flinched slightly as Nyhil spoke, and politely nodded with a quaint grin. "Of course, but never apologize for yawning. Yawning afterall helps us bring more oxygen into the blood and move more carbon dioxide out of the blood stream, so you know... No problem..." Tana expression immediately went back to her apathetic gaze as she looked directly at the man. She didn't hate him or anything, she was just a bit nervous being around a vampiric candidate; she has read too much vampire literature to not believe otherwise. No, she has never read teenage-appeal vampire stories such as Twilight or whatever garbage was spewed out into the mortal realm; she was more of a Le Fanu or Bryon kind of girl. Hopefully Nyhil didn't think badly of her for the way she was looking at him; she was known to have quite the resting b***h face. "That seems appropriate of a plan. If you need any resources, the please do not hesitate to come back. The evening would be fine, if that is what you wish." Tana glanced over at Tanamaru then at Nyhil before getting up. "But, I do recommend you rest if you can; you sound quite tired Mr. Dakkar." She mumbled as she would dust off her skirt and look out the window to the ever-changing horizon. Well, there wasn't much of a horizon, just a bunch of clouds... "I have to go to my room after and do some research on his kind. Possible delve into Darwin and see where evolution went wrong...!" She thought as she would put her hands behind her back and turn back to Nyhil with a sudden smile.
