Methone didn't know how it happened, or how she ended up with the pluto knight, but there she was...walking side by side with Luxor again, her arms folded behind her back and a slow whistle coming from her lips.
Their patrol, for the short duration she had allowed, had been quiet.
"So...." She casually began, "What do you want to do tonight Luxor?" Obviously they were patrolling but perhaps the knight would like to seek out a enemy or...
Maybe they could sit and talk!
Wait..scratch that. She didn't think he would sit...OR TALK.

Luxor was surprised when Methone wanted to patrol with him again. Maybe wanted was not the right word for it, but whatever the case, they had ended up on patrol with each other once again. And she was the same as he remembered her.
Talkative, but at least not throwing herself at him like before. He had a lot of patience for... basically everything, but he was actually a rather awkward guy under it all. He just knew how to keep his cool.
Even if he did not really know how to actually respond.
"We could find a youma or some Negaverse activity to stop. Anything we can do to help the city, I suppose. I feel like I haven't run into much trouble at all recently, but that doesn't make me... feel better about it."

Methone was pretty surprised with herself, usually she wouldn't give the squire another minute of her time but well...
She saw him around more and more then it seemed, and when she wasn't patrolling with Castor, it was nice to have SOMEONE around.
"They had a big coup de grace recently and it probably took a lot of energy out of them." Methone of course spoke of the senshi and knights taken for what sounded like a week. Taken and tortured.
Her blood boiled at the thought of the cruelty of it.
"A youma sounds good handsome..." She paused, as if the creature magically appeared. It was thin and willowy, not moving very fast. In all honesty, it reminded her of that internet creature...Slender man?
"Oh hey look at that..." She pointed as the creature slowly made its way towards them, "it's creepy as hell. Should we defeat it?"

Luxor wondered if she was being sarcastic when she asked if they should defeat the strange monster that appeared. He always had a very hard time with sarcasm, and when someone was trying to be funny or when they were actually just being serious. He generally assumed people were always being jerks, but that did not seem to fit her personality as he knew it so far.
She was out going and flirty, but not mean.
"That would be a good idea, I think," he said in response, his tone bland and lacking emotion, as per usual. He did clench his fists together, though, and lifted them in preparation for a fight.
Whatever this creepy thing was, it probably had the same weaknesses most of the enemies he had encountered so far did. Most, after all, did not like getting smashed in the face. Did this thing even have a face?
"Do you have useful magic?" he asked, and for once did have a tone to his voice, though it was misplaced. He sounded rather calm and conversational.

"Oh man..." she breathed out, as if she was hoping Luxor would actually be like, NAH, WE SHOULDN'T. You couldn't wish for a good thing to happen after all. Then it never came true.
"mmm, depends on what you call useful handsome." She reached her hand out, "Youma's don't like having their faces smashed in right. I don't see one on this one but...doesn't mean I can't try." She smiled at Luxor. "Cover your eyes Handsome." She brought the same hand up to her Tiara, gently touching the jewel.
"Aurora Borealis Flare!!" Her finger pointed up as an explosions of light aimed right at the creature (and sadly anyone within range) burst forth. "You can move Luxor." She whispered in his ear, speeding through the blue and green that luckily distracted the Youma from attacking. Distracted or blinded it, Methone really wondered and her leg swept low as she moved the creature to the ground.
"Luxor." She breathed out, "All yours Handsome!"**Aurora Borealis Flare Sailor Methone calls out her attack and points upward towards the sky and above her head atop her index finger a solar light erupts in front of her of a blue-green, emulating the Northern lights. These lights only last for 10 seconds but blind anyone within a 7’ radius who gaze upon them for the next 15- 20 seconds (30 seconds blind if the room / area was in complete total darkness). - Once cast the light remains stationary and she can move around freely. - Light lasts for 10 seconds - Light effects people within 7’ - Can be cast 3 times

Luxor watched her and nodded. He did not have magic. Or rather, he must have, but he was not sure how to use it or what it did. He could use it, he supposed, and try to figure it out but it did not really seem worth it at this point.
He had already gone so long in his career without it, he supposed he would be messing with a good thing at this point. It might do more harm than good, trying to incorporate something he was not used to using.
The Squire was just not the sort to rely on magic. He had always pushed himself to do what he needed to do. He fought, he trained, and he honed himself to the battle tool he had become now. Punching and kicking worked for him.
Leave the magic to the senshi. He would provide the support.
Lifting his arm, he blocked his eyes as best he could from the flash of light. He was undaunted, it seemed, by not having too much sight, charging forward and following her lead. As the weird looking youma fell, he leaped on it, slamming it down and pinning it before he punched at it as hard as he could. He was not sure exactly where this thing kept its vulnerable parts, but he was sure he would work it out.

She moved back just in case he couldn't see her but Luxor's aim was true and the connection to the youma was heard by its scream of pain, its wriggle away from them. She would've felt bad honestly, if the creature was more animal then chaos.
It wriggled under Luxor's hold, wishing for escape but getting no where. Methone wanted to help a little, so she kicked the thing's head, knocking it out.
"I guess we dust it now don't we?" She brought her leg back down, eyeing the creature. "Has anyone ever like...caught one of these things to study it before?"

Luxor looked up at Methone, nodding his head. He did not really like the dusting part, though he knew it was necessary. Maybe it was just the soft side of himself, the part of him that took care of the animals at the Carnival, and was a sucker for puppy dog eyes and rain soaked kittens.
He had a very squishy interior, despite his gruff and serious outer shell.
"I'm sure someone has tried. I'm not really smart enough to study anything like this, and I don't really care to. I just don't want them hurting anyone else, so I guess dusting them is the better option."
He knew the basics about youma, but was not sure he wanted to know more. If it changed the way he viewed them, then he would not be able to do his job properly.
"Do you want to dust it?" he asked, standing up, since the creepy thing was not going anywhere.

Methone laughed as she saw him hesitate and then nodded.
"If we can't keep it then, yes." She stared down at the creature and sighed. "Also I am not so smart either so...." She stuck her hand in the deep chaos energy and waited for it to disappear.
"There we go..." She watched as it disappeared.
"So....any plans tonight handsome?" BACK TO HER OLD WAYS THEN.

Luxor nodded his head and let her dust the youma, just trying to be polite, he supposed, by asking. Usually he did not give it any thought, the dusting thing, as it seemed like the only answer. He wondered for a moment if there was something to learn from them, but then, it seemed impossible to use them.
He was not sure. It just was not his area of thought or expertise, and never would be. He would leave that to someone else, and just keep doing his job as he knew it.
At her question, he shook his head.
"I was just going to continue my patrol until it was time to go home." He said it as flatly as ever, the same stick in the mud he had always been. He did have someone to go home to, but he was not the type to bring things up about his personal life without need, and he did not really understand when people meant two things with their questions, sometimes.

"Good to know! Well, Castor is waiting for me." She pulled out her phone, "I got a date tonight with a prince, and since I am keeping him."
She reached over and patted his back. "Thanks for the help darling. Next time we should get a lieutenant or something."
