Life had, for the most part, gone back to normal. Everyone had been rescued from the creepy carnival, though some panic had happened over the ones who'd gone missing from that. Something she'd never understand; why did people go missing after they'd already gone missing? The squire just rolled her eyes and jumped down from the top of the play structure.

Life was as normal as it could be, given that she was now... incredibly awkward around Themiscyra every single time they ran into each other. It was one thing to have emotions from a future that hadn't come to pass. It was another to realize that not all of that was from the future. Andronicus wasn't one to step on toes either, and was very content with letting her and Ashur do their thing. Being around the Mars Squire was enough for her. The Compact was another story she hadn't quite had the chance to actually... talk to her about. She had no idea what it was but it twitched at her mind every single time she was idle and it was just ---

Something massive flared on her radar and Andronicus all but stumbled. She couldn't quite remember feeling anything like that before. It wasn't quite Chaos, but it wasn't quite Order either. Not in the middle either. She couldn't quite understand what it was, so she summoned her mace, the orb flaring softly, and walked around the corner.

The park just about ended and then there was the owner of the signature. Familiar, yet very different. She frowned and sort of just shouted over to the woman (because when has Andronicus ever had tact?).

"Uh... I... who are you? Zir...conia? The hell happened to you?" Well, good job girl you at least remembered her name. Even if your tact fails majorly.

Zirconia froze, and then her eyes darted in every direction to the side before she looked down at herself, and then to Andronicus. "I could say the same to you, squire!"

she grabbed the bangles on one wrists and rotated her hand as she looked her over. "I have your photo, listed as a page."

She gathered up her overlayed skirts trailing behind her. "It's a complicated situation on my end, I won't bore you with the details. The evolution of your weapon is more interesting. Have you unlocked its magic?

"Well now you've piqued my curiosity," she said with a chuckle. Andronicus eyed over the skirts, the bangles, the odd... eyeball things. It was a very nice outfit, whatever it signified. Of course Andronicus wanted to know but if the woman wasn't going to offer it herself, she figured she wouldn't push it. Somethings were better left unsaid after all.

Andronicus nodded, holding the mace out in front of her. "During the New Years Eve ball. Chaos attacked after draining half the attendees, myself included, and I saw a civilian getting beat on. Needless to say, I powered up." She grinned at that, very pleased with how it had happened. "The magic is essentially a very hard gust of wind that I smack you with. The orb glows and then BAM! Wind hitting you. Provided I'm close enough. It doesn't work at long range."

To demonstrate, she focused on the mace. The blue orb glowed bright and she turned, swinging it in the air. A gust of wind seemed to revolve around the end, though it was rather hard to tell without actually hitting the other with it. That was an action Andronicus figured was better off not done.

"Needless to say," Zirconia repeated with a small laugh. She leaned forward a bit and reached out, just hovering near the weapon without touching it in the same curious way she had hovered and preened near Andronicus' hood when they had first met.

"Very useful. And very fitting that you found your power in defense of a civilian. I'm sure whoever has you in their corner is proud."

She glmoured down to human form, specifically to pull some of the things she was wearing before out of subspace, but trading the long flowing dress for jeans and a heavy sweater in the process. She fished her phone out of her pocket and held it up.

"Could I update my index with your new rank?" She asked, already turning on the camera app.

She bowed her head, hiding the light blush that rose to her cheeks. Very fitting indeed... Andronicus spent more time trying to protect civilians than her other knights or friends. They were the bread and butter of the city, after all. Without them, there wasn't any city to speak of, really. Two hundred some odd powered individuals couldn't run a city that large. They couldn't even run a hamlet, given the whole "trying to kill each other" thing. It only seemed fitting.

"No one else seems to. Either we're 'eradicating' the Negaverse, or they're after us, or what have you. FIRE seems to be the best approved option for dealing with the Negaverse these days. They put civilians and their own comrades at risk." She rubbed her back, fingers lingering on the marbled burn scar. "It just... doesn't sit well with me." She rolled a shoulder.

When the woman shifted to a more human form, Andronicus was a little shocked. She never really expected anyone to do that, especially with someone you didn't know well. Granted she knew a few knights as civilians, but that was only because she knew them well. And they trusted her. Vice versa. This was a little odd for her. Though with a power signature like hers, she doubted Zirconia really feared being known by people.

"Go right ahead." Andronicus pulled the hood up over her head, and held the mace in such a way it could be seen in the photo too. It was awkward and stiff, but she was a ballet dancer, not a model. Posing really wasn't her... thing.
