Ellicott's eyes opened wide as her ragged nightgown was transformed into an outfit of draped fabric. The bright red a startling shade and the white banded top was more of a corset then a wrap, even her hair was affected. No longer was it bedraggled with dirt and twigs tangled in it, it was pulled back and secured tightly to the nape of her neck and while Ellicott couldn't see it she felt something circle her head like a cornet. She had various beads and bangles on every extremity but her feet were still bare. It was like she was transformed into some native princess from her mother's homeland in Africa.
She was in awe of the magic and had completely forgotten about the pen, her feet, and even the cat. The transformation set the entire night squarely in the 'dream-not real' category of life, after all magical transformations like the one she just experienced is something strict from a book or a comic.... They just didn't happen in real life.
Ellicott was so absorbed that she barely heard the kitten say something. "Wha...." Her question died in its infancy as she looked up and saw that her dream had once more turned into a nightmare. A giant reptilian bird was coming right for them, it was like something out of a book on dinosaurs. At first she could only stand there in shock but as it got closer she took a few staggering steps backwards. The pain from her feet whipped up her legs and Ellicott stumbled, fear and pain ripping a scream from her paralyzed throat.

Sheena frowned and jumped in front of the girl, she could see already this crash course wasn't going to be a smooth one. "You have to get up Ellicott, that thing means business. It's won't stop because your scared. You've have magic and you can use it to stop this thing."
Sheena stood fur raised looking fully ready to fight. She thought she might have to use her laser, but she needed to avoid it as long as she could. She would be spent once she did and she couldn't afford that at the moment. It was a last resort. She had to get Ellicott up and fighting.
Shang heard the scream and was instantly in action making right towards a signature that hadn't been there before. If the person was in danger Shang was going to be the one that leaned to inaction and he hoped other's were the same.
"I'm coming," he should as he ran, not quite close enough to see whoever was in danger just yet, but hoping her could be heard.
