Ev had been minding her own business, with an arm full of books she'd just taken out of her locker. While everyone was paired up with their significant others, or passing out little sweet treats to one another, and mini's, the lone ghoul was well.. alone, as per usual. But there was no dismay nor sadness on her face, that gentle, light smile still remaining intact as she glid to the creepateria, feeling quite peckish after her long day of studying. However as she approached the doorway, she was surprised to see the strange... floating, portal, that others were taking bites out of. But even with the largest of eaters, and the biggest of bites, the portal was unyielding, and continued to swirl endlessly, without a scratch staying. There were some who willinginly stepped into it, which caused the grand bois to blink in shock behind her mask. What... was in there...? So many seemed so excited about its presence, all crowded around it, and some shoving one another to get a taste of the sweet doorway to another realm. Was it... actually good? She couldn't imagine it being so, due to how there were so many hands clutching the sides, and talons digging into it.

Unable to abate her curiosity, and knowing she'd never get answers unless she went into the dang thing herself, Ev stood a little straighter, and hugged her books to one side of her. Moths following loyally around her, the ghoul stepped right into the dark portal. A few of her fellow students nearby watched her with raised brows, and some murmurs between themselves 'who's she...?' and the ilk.. but she paid it no mind. She'd discover what this was all about on her own accord.
And as soon as she did, she gave forth a surprised yelp when she suddenly plummeted downwards without warning. At the bottom, she landed with a splat into a thick, sea of chocolate. The impact made her instantly lose her books, and a handful of moths in the process, She made motions to try and pull herself out of the unpleasant substance but... it seemed futile. Her feet couldn't touch, and her body wasn't properly positioned to swim correctly. The thickness was unlike any other she'd ever been doused in, making it a bit difficult for her to adjust to the way it weighted her down, rather than helped her float. If anything, it felt like it was trying to pull her under...!

But Ev was no quitter. Just because she couldn't succeed right now with what she was doing, that didn't mean there must be other means of escaping this strange... pool of sweetness. She simply needed to properly gauge the distance she was from the edge, and adjust accordingly to swim towards it with strong, even strokes!

This stuff was... unpleasant, the way it stuck to her, and gucked up her root legs, weighing down her hair, and the light 'clothing' she already wore. Just what kind of place was this, and what purpose did it serve?

Luckily enough for her, the shore wasn't that far, and it only took a few strong strokes to reach it. Peeling out of the chocolatey goo, Ev wiped as much of it as she could off of herself, flinging it back into the pool, pausing only to realize. Her books had gotten gobbled up in that mess... That was a shame. Well hopefully her teachers wouldn't be too angered with her. Looking at the walls, and their wavery exterior, the ghoul managed to pass through one and reappear where she'd been prior; before the creepateria. And in need of a bath. There were some snickers, snorts, and outright laughter at the sorry sight Ev was in from her peers, but she didn't pay them any mind as usual. If they'd actually gone in themselves, they'd understand the situation at hand. But of course they didn't, and she didn't let their mocking and teasing bother her. Her moths fluttered out one by one too, that remained, while new ones seemed to pop up above her seemingly out of thin air.
