Hi, my name is Jacob Syme

I'm a male.

My dream job is I'm not sure. Maybe being a professor.

I'm currently with no one. I don't think that'll change.

I may seem Serious, distant and hard to reach, but I'm really just trying to protect my children and give them the best possible life I possibly can. I've had to deal with one major loss, and I refuse to put up with another. Those two are the only people I have, and I intend to protect them as best I can. Although I can be very serious, I love to joke around, and I keep myself light-hearted around my sons. I believe that if you let stress take over your life, you're as good as dead. That's not really living, in my opinion. I live for my sons, though I'm not cruel to anyone else, unless you deserve it.

My background story is I was born into a fairly middle-class family, my mother and father both being witches and wizards. I like to think they taught me some pretty good morals. Anyway, I had a pretty average childhood. I was kind of a shut-in, with not many friends and even less desire to make any. I really couldn't find an outlet in anything, other than drawing. I liked that a lot. The whole being able to just draw anything that could pop into your mind at any time, whether it be a person, character, object, scene, and so on. My parents didn't really encourage me into anything, as they were always so busy working.. always working. Maybe that's why I work so hard. A blessing and a curse, I guess. Moving on, I was homeschooled until age 11, when of course I went to Hogwarts until I was 17. It was there that I found another true outlet, Quidditch. I don't know what it was, but that sport just brought out the best in me, offered an escape from real life for just a moment. I played all through school, and when I graduated, it almost felt as if a part of me had torn away from me, since I never pursued the sport outside of school.

Once I graduated, I took any odd job I could find, mostly Muggle things, such as cleaning houses, collecting packages, dropping off packages, and so on. After about a couple of years of this, I finally found a slightly permanent job working as an accountant at a Muggle law office. It was there that I met the love of my life, Cecilia. To make a long story short, we started dating and, eventually, got married. It was perfect. We had two children, my boys Jameson and Caden. One night, Cecilia was driving home, late at night. It was around 10 PM. She was crossing an intersection, and a truck.. well, a truck.. It smashed right into her. She was dead on impact, and the driver, well, the driver never stopped. He was never found. It was so late at night that the only witness was her, and, well, she's dead now. Whether it was an accident or intentional, I've no idea. Thankfully, my sons were pretty young and didn't have as good of an idea as they would've if they were older, but it was harder to explain. How do you explain to two young children that their mother is dead? But right now, all I focus on is them, and providing for them the best I can.

I enjoy working, reading, teaching my sons, running, providing for people.

I despise murder, death, ignorance, bullying, fighting.

I'm afraid of being alone.

My strengths are working hard, and protecting my sons.

My flaws are trying new things, and going out of my comfort zone.

People say that, in a nutshell, I'm quiet, and kinda shy, maybe. I don't know what shy means, but I don't talk much around other people, or at least new people. I'm only comfortable around my dad and Jamie. He doesn't like to be called that, but I'll call him whatever I want. I'm his brother! Just.. don't tell him I called him that? He'll be upset and tell dad on me. I hate when he does that, even though dad doesn't do much but just laugh and rub our heads. Even though I'm "shy" I likeplaying outside with Jamie, running around and stuff. Sometimes he climbs trees that are too high for me though, and I don't like that.

My background story is Well, the five years of my life haven't been that eventful at all. My dad has raised me so far, Jamie tells me we had a mom too, but she went somewhere before I could ever remember her.. Maybe someday we'll see her again, though Jamie tells me not to get my hopes up. That kinda makes me sad, but Jamie always finds a way to cheer me up no matter what.

I enjoy chocolate, sweets, playing with Jamie, toys, and warmth.

I despise Loud noises, blood, scary movies, the dark, and cold.

I'm afraid of heights.

My strengths are being quiet and listening to others.

My flaws are being strong and climbing trees.
