I'm lovin monster hunter 4 ultimate big time, that five year wait was defeniately worth it.
My name is SBtheSZino, which is short for Shadow Black the Stygian Zinogre, I'm hr 4 but I've been cut short of being able to play bcause my parents know how obsessed with mh I was on tri, I should be back hopefully before march.
What's your name on Mh4U so I may keep an eye out

Ever since the very first Monster Hunter, Zvahl is my male. Seyonne is my female.
Ever since Monster Hunter Freedom on my PSP and my fiancee's dumbass sister saving over my 300 hour Zvahl, Zvahl has always ended up in the bottom (3rd) save slot of every Monster Hunter since.
Seyonne is either the first or second. This ensures that if I let a family or friend try any of the games and they decide to make a new hunter and don't pay attention to the whole "Would you like to save your hunter?" and overwrite HOURS OF FREAKING WORK THAT TOOK ME FOREVER TO DO VERONICA YOU PIECE OF SH**!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This just ensures my two favorite hunters are never destroyed.
So yea, Zvahl & Seyonne. (Zvahl always tends to be an older gentleman with a strong voice and brown hair, in the latest MH4U, they added a longer version of the hair I always used, so I went with that to show that he has aged over the years of the games existence. Seyonne has always had long pink hair, a specific shade of pink that I always use in games that allow it for her. For MH4U I went with a shorter hair to also show that she has kind of grown and matured over the years. Who doesn't make character backstories and s**t for their hunters? LOL)
Zvahl is HR4 and currently in a combination of basic & S Rathalos armor.
Seyonne is HR1 and in Hunter's set.
I'll end up having to replay the game all over again once my wife returns home with my special present... MH4U Edition New 3DS. :3

I decided to name my character Elderia this time around. Let's hope I can fall in love with her as much as I did my MH3U character (Caprea. Because like Zvahl, character backstories and stuff are fun to make up!)

Ryo!
A mercenaries life is tough! Especially when you keep waking up in a bed and amnesia has taken all your gear.
But yeah, I've held on to the same character and look for the entire series.
With the exception of MHP3rd. I didn't know how to spell Ryo in Japanese so I made a female.
I also just picked up my 3DS XL, some one on craigslist was selling it for 100$. I think I got a good deal, only I don't have the game yet and I don't understand these friend codes either.
With all these back stories, we should do a short RP.

On the main menu of the 3DS, you can go to the "Friend List" (orange square face icon at the top of the lower screen)
The second square in this option is YOUR 3DS profile. You. This is where you find YOUR Friend Code.
The FIRST square allows you to "Register Friend"s. Dong it via internet allows you to input our code, and if we already have you added, it will automatically register the name for our account. If we don't have you added, you have to put in a temporary name.
Doing this allows you to go to the Friend List option and see who is online and what game they are playing.
If you go into the online feature in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, you can select the "Friend List" in game and it will show our name as orange if we are online and can instantly join our room (if it's not passworded. You need a password if the room is locked.) but it just makes multiplayer much more convenient and faster.

I've had sort of a generation thing going on.
Aside from my normal ian92867 thing, I had separate characters as well.
First was Tartusian with his partners ( friends who also played MH but this was like after highschool ) Revok, Carx and Levi ( MHF and MHF2 ); and then Tartusian's daughter, Meiu with Cureton, her felyne companion. ( MHFU. ).
And then it went back to Tartusian as he was getting older/into middle age. His felyne companions were Charlie and Tsumiki ( Portable 3rd )
and with MH3U... well.... Issac, the third generation. With his pals Illian, Thaumat, Safiria, Chann, and Kazuma.
I haven't made anything else yet for 4U....

Went with Rygo instead of my usual distant. Sorta just been playing up this name as a character for a while now and decided to put him in monster hunter. A fierce and proud fighter.

Gotta disagree there, I loved 3U. Not that that's what you meant but 3U is it's own beast. I haven't played more than the demo on 4U but between the monsters and many other small elements I see 3U as Monster Hunter in it's most complete form. From multiplayer to the fact it's on a damn console!
And the line up of monsters was a nice departure from what the PSP titles brought with a nice mix of what Japanese versions had brought to the table.
That and the community on the Miiverse was great for so long. The community had some great artists! I loved it.
I've been looking through the 4U Miiverse and unfortunately as cool as the screenshot ability is, it seems like the older members aren't participating much.
I'm rambling and no one asked for a review.
I'm still stoked about getting it regardless and am looking forward to hunting with you guys, for sure.

What's your name on Mh4U so I may keep an eye out MHManiac(Monster Hunter Maniac) just because I'm a pretty aggressive hunter xD I even shoot my own teammates...with heal shots if the monster is gone! Gotta make those potions last!
