Treide Arraki smiles at you with a fanged grin. In front of her is a table of instruments.
"Welcome to my booth! Do you like music? Well I LOVE Music. So you can make your own instruments. But just copying mine isn't fun." There's a mischievous glint in her eyes, "I want you to make your own!
Right behind the booth is a large tent. Inside are gaggles of pieces of instruments in different materials.
"Put together a cool instrument and if it sounds good, I'll give you a ticket, okay? But even if it's not good, I'll give you some tokens and you can totally use them for little prizes here."
While it sounds like a fun, you can't shake the feeling that Treide is going to be enjoying this even more than you...

HOW TO PLAY and some rules
The tent behind Treide is filled with pieces of instruments in three distinct sections. It appears you can either build a flute or some kind of recorder. You take a piece from each section and build an instrument! Treide smiles sheepishly and admits she just grabbed stuff and isn't exactly sure what is in there... Oh boy.
General Rules: - You can play once a day - You are totally welcome to just rp in here and make horrific music of horrific quality. - Feel free to ignore the quality prompts, use them as inspiration for your RP post, or take them literally. - This week is midterms for me. I will try my hardest to keep up with the thread, but PLEASE be patient!!
NOW onto the game
STEP 1 - Decide on what material you want to scrounge up. This is player decided. The materials are: Bone (troll? Animal?), Grass, Wood, Clay, Stone, Metal, or Mystery (it's a mYSTERY~~~~)
STEP 2 - Use the code in this post. Roll 3d100 (3 100 sided dice). Plug you numbers in the right spots of the form!
STEP 3 - Open up the spoilers for each dice. Figure out what grade of material and how well the piece you found works.
STEP 4 - Figure out if you are elligble for a ticket! In order to claim a ticket, two of your dice must be in the SPECTACULAR or PERFECT area however If your 3rd dice is Horror Terror you cannot claim a ticket. You are too traumatized. If you win a ticket or tokens or both, quote Magician Arcana~
STEP 5 (optional) - Play your instrument! RP posts over 50 words are elligible for the day end raffle for extra tickets.
IT'S MUSIC MAKING TIME Material: What mat's you usin' bro Dice 1: Include your grade Dice 2: Dice 3:
Overall: Are two of more of your instrument pieces Spectacular? As long as Dice 3 wasn't a 1, you earn a ticket! If Dice 3 was a 1, you lose. :c But you get tokens!
RP post: - Optional, but if you get over 50 words you will be put in for the day end raffle!
I won a ticket/tokens!
After having found your three pieces you check them with a grading chart to figure out how good your instrument will be.
DICE 1
1 - 25 ABYSMAL: This is... Not even formed. How did this end in the pile? You stare at it and sigh forlornly.
26 - 50 MEDIUM GRADE: It's roughly formed. Not bad. Not good either. Eh. Treide offers you a token. She chirpily replies that she wants to celebrate mediocrity whenever she can. You're not sure if that's a compliment...
51 - 75 INTERMEDIATE: Hey! Not bad not bad. It's pretty good, but you notice some flaws here and there.
76 - 100 SPECTACULAR: Truly beautiful. A+. Such a gorgeous instrument piece. You kiss it fondy and realize you are still in public. Er...
DICE 2
1 - 20 WTF: You sniff at this piece suspiciously. Is it your imagination, or did it sniff back..? Er.... Treide quickly exchanges the gerbil in your hand for a token. How the heck did you think a gerbil was an instrument piece?!
21 - 40 ABYSMAL: It looked like a beautiful piece until you inspected. The holes aren't formed all the way and wait... No some of these are just painted on!
41 - 60 MEDIUM GRADE: It's not BAD, but nit's not great either. You've found the mediocre piece, but seeing as others are sniffing their sections, maybe you're doing okay friend.
61 - 80 INTERMEDIATE: Woah dude this is actually a nice piece of musical instrument. The material is sound.
81 - 100 SPECTACULAR: True music amazing beauty. Bless yourself. Bless your neighbors. Bless your lusus. This is what the ancestors played. The mirthful messiahs themselves would weep at this instrument section perfection. Go on, young bard.
DICE 3
1 HORROR TERROR: You stare into the void and the void plays soft jazz back at you. Treide is sorry for you and gives you a token.
2 - 20 WTF: You grab a piece, but it squishes in your hand. OH GOG IT WAS LUSUS DUNG NOPE NOPE NOPE ABORT.
21 - 40 ABYSMAL It's not like it's bad. It's just not good at all. In any way. Or shape. Or form.
41 - 60 MEDIUM GRADE: This will work. It's not the best piece, but hey. It's the best you got.
61 - 80 INTERMEDIATE: It's a great bottom piece. You know in your heart of hearts that this will create a good instrument.
81 - 90 ADVANCED: You argue bitterly with Treide that this piece is actually of Stellar quality. She thinks otherwise and points out a crack in the material. Dang... She gives you a token and you feel a little better.
91 - 99 SPECTACULAR: Who is the instrument piece finding super star? It's you. Congrats, this is a high quality piece.
100 PERFECT: Treide stares at the piece with open jealousy and exchanges a token with you for it. (this still counts as a stellar piece, but you earn a token too! Congrats!).

BOOTH AND TICKET LIST
Your experience with the music is done... You have over come, or succumbed, to the terror, beauty, and pain of music. Treide smiles at you broadly and motions to her little booth front. Oh? That's right, you earned some tokens. You suppose you could use them.

1 Token - A pin that says "I went to the BYOMI booth and all I got was this lousy Pin

IT'S MUSIC MAKING TIME Material: Metal Dice 1: 63 - Intermediate Dice 2: 63 - Intermediate Dice 3: 68 - Intermediate
Overall: Anguis makes the most consistent instrument ever, with three intermediate parts. It's oddly fitting.
RP post: While perusing the booths (and still avoiding Forera's for the time being) Anguis stumbled upon an instrument making booth. Even if it did seem a little... haphazard he liked the idea and he decided to take a try. He didn't know a lot about instruments anyways, so it was nice to have a hands on approach. Even if it was kind of jamming parts together.
His tries in the first two boxes landed okay pieces of similar quality, the bits of roughness to them barely noticeable and seemingly solid and cool in his hands. The third box landed something only a tiny bit better as his bottom piece, but it was all together something he would consider pretty solid. Even if it wasn't the best of instruments, he was proud of it, and he gave it a little blow producing some kind of note (it sounded awful to be honest) before laughing some.
IT'S MUSIC MAKING TIME Material: Metal! Dice 1: 95 - SPECTACULAR Dice 2: 100 - SPECTACULAR Dice 3: 47 - MEDIUM
Overall: Pretty good.
RP post: "Can we keep our instruments, too?" Alifax asked, already looking over the materials at hand. With any luck he could melt some of this metal back down or something. He didn't actually care much for music but he figured it would be worth a shot to scavenge something that might be nice...
It was only fortunate that high quality metal usually also made for high quality instruments. He'd carefully picked two very shiny, smooth-looking pieces without blemishes, and found the third when it seemed like time was running out. It looked fairly serviceable, though; he had no idea what sort of sounds they'd make. He blew vaguely at them to test. He was surprised to find that he was actually...receiving praise for salvaging these? Well, okay. He wouldn't refuse a prize. Especially if it was something less stupid than a ticket to some romantic amusement park.
IT'S MUSIC MAKING TIME Material: Bone Dice 1: 84 - Spectacular! Dice 2: 96 - Spectacular! Dice 3: 68 - Intermediate!
Overall: A pretty good instrument!
RP post: Poeias really wanted to make something cool. He grabbed a material at random - bone, it turned out to be when he brought it to his face for inspection - and began to craft his most masterful instrument! He actually managed to make something pretty workable. Nice.
IT'S MUSIC MAKING TIME Material: Mystery Dice 1: medium Dice 2: wtf Dice 3: intermediate
Overall:not bad but most certanly not good.
RP post: - At the very most it was a learning experience. He'd found that so far he wasn't great at putting things together, but this was a bit better than his last project. When he put it together he tried to play the instrument. What a sorry sounding thing it was.
IT'S MUSIC MAKING TIME Material: Metal Dice 1: 62, INTERMEDIATE Dice 2: 12, WTF Dice 3: 31, ABYSMAL
Overall: A poor attempt and an abysmal fail that doesn't even deserve mentioning, though not enough to cost him his ticket would he have fared better.
RP post: - Despite being absolutely exhausted from his ventures around the bloodfest, Hazmas decided to visit one last booth. It was a music booth and even though he was bone-tired and a feeling a little fussy, the chance to build his own instrument was too enticing to pass up!
With his lusus trailing close behind him, the young greenblood set to work, a choice he'd later regret. With his eyes crossing and his mind fogging, his work quickly dropped, leaving him wondering what the heck he was even doing in that place. However, the moment he tried to play that instrument, he realized how big of a mistake he'd made!
Hazmas tossed the instrument away in disgust, his green eyes narrowed furiously. "Bludgeons, I was better off making pirate engines..." he murmured and trudged off, still pouting over his not-an-instrument.
IT'S MUSIC MAKING TIME Material: Animal Bone Dice 1: 96 - SPECTACULAR Dice 2: 45 - MEDIUM Dice 3: 59 - MEDIUM
Overall: Not too shabby of an outcome for a first timer.
RP post: You could build your own instrument?! This was awesome! Picking from the material choices, bone seemed to be the interesting to the young orangeblood. Interestingly enough, for a troll who had seen a lot of bones in his life on his adventures, he had never really inspected them for quality. But he felt like he did a pretty good job with his choices!
Magician Arcana generated a random number between
1 and 3 ...
2!
Treide broadly grins and hands the two winners their ticket and the raffle winner, "Woah, you guys did awesome! Sure sure sure, keep your instrument. I hope you keep coming back~~" She sing songed and waved at them.
IT'S MUSIC MAKING TIME Material: Wood. Gettin all the splinters, brah. Dice 1: ABYSMAL Dice 2: INTERMEDIATE Dice 3: INTERMEDIATE
Overall: Kinda shitty base, but managed to spiffy it up a loott.
RP post: Now this was his turf! Music. Dear gog, Zindel loved music. The one thing he hated about being a redblood was not having enough money to buy an instrument, but the best thing ever was being able to make his own. He quickly found three items, not paying much attention to them until they were at his makeshift workbench, where he started pulling it together, finally. He realized one was so broken it could only be used as a prop and then grabbed onto the other two items he had, whiccch were pretty damn good. With a grin, Zindel played his instrument. It sounded pretty good! Now he could play one when he was dancing or something. Mini mental high five to himself. Hell yeah.
IT'S MUSIC MAKING TIME Material: Clay Dice 1: 48 - Medium Dice 2: 62 - Intermediate Dice 3: 1 - Horror terror
Overall: He created a monster.
RP post: Another day, another instrument! Judging by the feel of the new material, it seems like Poe grabbed some clay. He decides to try his best to keep up to the standard he made yesterday. He started off well, making a pretty alright instrument, but somewhere along the way... he made something unspeakable. He started crying loudly, unable to be consoled.
