Where there was music, there was Hattie.
It lured her there, especially the high, energetic beats of a song that she loved so much before the island, that she didn't realized she missed until that very second. As she approached the training field - and the other woman with her runic boombox - she was swinging her hips with a dance to her step, arms in the air, hair swaying, and, more importantly, she was singing along. Loudly.
"I hear your heart beat to the beat of the drums ~ Oh, what a shame that you came here with someone~" As she reached these lines she reached out, grabbing one of the mystery girl's hands to try and spin the girl into her arms as she continued to sing: "So while you're here in my arms~ Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young!"

Leesha didn't know who this girl was, but it didn't matter in the slightest. She clearly had good taste, and had her heart-- and her hips-- in the right place. The gauntlets on her arms dwarfed the girl's bare hands, but it didn't matter in the slightest. Felicia let herself be twirled and spun, ecstatic that she'd found someone willing to sing and dance along. She continued with the chorus, and it was a good thing the music was so loud because she was a tolerable singer, but certainly not good by any stretch of the imagination. The grin on Leesha's scarred face was simply huge. Jerking a head at her own weapons, she gave the redhead a curious look. You've seen mine: show me yours!

It was difficult to spin and dance with a woman that had massive gauntlets for arms but damnit, Harley was going to try. She had to. For the song's sake. That was how it worked.
It was also a good thing the music was loud - Harley was a passable singer. Her best work was alone in a moving vehicle, in the shower, or like this, with the music blaring so loudly it was hard to tell who was singing and how well anyway. That was where she shined.
The pointed look was only noted due to their closeness, and that was when Harley's grin somehow became larger. This was starting to look a lot like a dance battle! Dance battles sounded awesome, and she didn't know she wanted to try one until that very moment. Hips still swaying and arms still moving to the music, Harley summoned Lament. The massive, almost skeletal axe materialized in her hands, and landed heavily onto the ground, one of her spikes burying into the dirt at their feet.
She then waggled her eyebrows suggestively, looking pointedly between their weapons.

Felicia loosed an abrupt giggle that carried itself well into a snort. They both had over-sized weapons, huh? Well, that was gonna make this interesting. She launched herself at the redhead, a spring in her step as a huge gauntlet careened towards her. Even after her blow collided, Felicia didn't let her momentum stop, swinging around to do a full turn, using the added weight on her arms as counterbalances. And then gave an exaggerated wink of her own as the song concluded, seguing into Taylor Swift. Yes. Yes, they were going to Shake It Off. hp 40 dmg 4 charge 1/3

The brunette with the massive gauntlets launched forward and Hattie began to dodge backward, trying to bring her axe between them to block some of the damage. She was too late to avoid it completely, and it forced her to stumble a pace or two further back than she intended. It didn't stop her from taking a blind swing, one that ended up slicing through nothing but the air between them.

"C-Cuh-Close!" Felicia gasped, offering the first words of the day to the redhead. She offered a one two punch with an emphasized hipcheck, giggling. She pulled back, bouncing on her heels like an animated fighting game character. She maybe thought she was, sometimes. Chun Li, minus the T&A. And also the thighs. "Muh-My name's Felicia!" hp 40 dmg 4 charge 2/3

For such a tiny girl with such a massive weapon, her new dancing friend was certainly light on her feet. At least that's how it seemed, as she, an equally tiny girl with a massive weapon, continued to try and make contact. Still, the gasping comment made her grin with pride - at least she had been close!
"Hattie!" The redhead replied in a light, happy tone that was loud enough to be heard over the music. "Nice to meetcha! You've got a bitchin weapon!" As if to show her appreciation, she swung Lament again, purposefully aiming for one of the gauntlets.

Although Felicia was getting better-- thanks in no small part to a handful of spars where she got thoroughly creamed-- it really never felt like it. She was always afraid of failure, but she was more afraid of not even trying. The girl's axe collided with one of her gauntlets, batting it away with a strength that made her spin and wobble. The other gauntlet spun around, swinging low as Felicia did her best to keep her balance. "T-Thanks!" she yelled, bobbling her head at Hattie's weapon. "Yours t-too!" hp 37 dmg 6 charge 3/3
