It's no degrees out.
With a wind chill of -14.

Are you keeping warm enough? My sister makes these wonderful fandom lap rugs and they get us through New England winters. I'm under one right now, so that was the first thing I thought of.

We have a fitted bed sheet that is heated. And I love leggings under my work uniforms.

I keep hearing about people wearing leggings under pants, and I am constantly surprised by that. It sounds uncomfortable to me, you wouldn't get my out of dresses for love or money.

My uniform pants are made of this super scratchy material that is water proof so the soft leggings underneath are actually a god send. xd

I just hope there's plenty of room in those pants. I'm really odd about pants, I can't stand wearing baggy trousers, anything baggy enough to get leggings under would be far too baggy for me to stand wearing. But of course, they're tight that's not even an option. So I wear dresses all through the winter.

I bought the guy version of the uniform pants because they were baggier. The women's pants are terribly sized and have this shitty elastic belt inside that after the first wash, basically crumbles and is useless.
And the guy's pants have real pockets. So cool having 6 full sized pockets that I can fit my phone into without a single problem. (iPhone 5c - Green with an Otterbox defender case)

I don't get what's up with the lack of pockets in women's clothing. I understand the idea that woman are more fashion-conscious and therefore don't want their silhouette altered by bulky pockets, but I'm a seamstress. I know how to put in pockets that don't effect the line that much, or depending on the garment, at all. Dresses especially can get slit pockets without even adding extra seams. I have no idea why the idea that women don't need pockets has persisted. It is probably related to purses, but that gets real chicken and egg really fast. Women don't need pockets because they carry their personal effects in purses. Women carry purses because women's clothes don't have pockets.

I'd rather have pockets large enough to hold my cell phone and carry a purse for my glasses and my 3DSXL. xd

The fashion industry is basically Twitch Plays Pokémon, only the hundreds of people trying to push one thing around affects what you can find in stores.

Yup. I miss the 90's with the JNCO jeans. They had pockets AND were so damn comfy.

I don't remember those jeans. But I was paying less attention to fashion at the time. Looking at 90s sitcoms, I think most people were.
