Owner: Midnightglow18 Name: Spectra Personality: Spectra is a sweet heart, she loves making others happy. She enjoys both baking and arts and crafts very much. She decided to make her valentine for her crush herself. What do you make:
Owner: Yushika Name: Keoni Personality: Quiet and gentle, Keoni tends to focus on his family and friends rather than himself. He lets people walk all over him, mostly because he doesn't value himself much. His life is about people and pleasing others. He wants nothing more then to bring a smile to another's face. He has a hard time saying 'no' as a result, and will need some help getting to the place he needs to be to be assertive once in awhile.
Keoni has inherited the plushie making side of the family, but he's added a twist. When he is older he will run a shop with a magical creature. He'll make plushies custom for his customers, and then slip inside a special item the customer has brought. He will ask the customer what ails them in life, and then bless that plushie to help fix what hurts the individual as long as the item stays inside. His life will be devoted completely to this practice.
Prompt Keoni wasn't afraid.
He stood at the bottom of the boulder, eying the creature. His fingers trapped the plushie he held within a tight grip, mouth vanishing into a thin line in thought. The creature before him was masked under a thin veil, however, her glowing eyes pierced through the fabric. She was of the same species as him, and yet something left him feeling aware that she was more then he could ever be. Without thinking, he moved closer, extending a hand to the woman.
"Do you want a plushie?" He whispered, voice caught into a gentle sigh of amazement. Her pale hand raised, brushing aside his extended palm gently.
"No." She admitted, her eyes seizing him in place. "I've come for something else. Tell me, what is your desire? What do you want to become in this world?"
Keoni lowered his hand, cocking an eyebrow up at the strange question. His fingers traced the stitching of his plushie, tail wrapping securely around a back limb.
"To make people smile." A sheepish smile crossed his features, cheeks flushing a soft pink. "To do what I love and enrich their lives with it. I... make toys." He raised the plushie up for examination. "I live for the moment that my gift makes someone smile."
The creature stared down at the hand-made toy, a soft hum escaping her. Swiftly, she slid off the boulder, approaching the smaller boy and lifting his plushie from his hand. Examining it, she gently handed it back, fingers trailing over the fabric for half a second.
"Then I will help you."

Owner: Koiasi Name: Rune Personality: Rune is a quiet little girl. She keeps to herself a lot, however, when faced with social interaction she smiles sweetly and it's noted that she's perhaps more shy than quiet. She can be very passionate when in her element and can talk quite rapidly when speaking of things she enjoys. She's intelligent and it's easy to see it glittering behind her eyes. She is generally found in her 'lab' (what she has nicknamed her room) working all hours of the night to get her little creations perfect. She is an extreme perfectionist, especially when it comes to her own abilities. What do you make: Rune loves to create dolls. Not just the doll itself, she creates everything, from the hair, to the paint and expression on the face, down to the clothing itself. These usually end up very... dark. She likes to make them Halloween themed and while not many might enjoy the company of her dolls... She enjoys every aspect of creating them.. even if it isn't Halloween. (And... it might be noted that she puts so much of herself into these dolls... that sometimes it might seem as though they're watching you...) She's also been known to create Halloween themed bows and clothing for other Noodles when it strikes her. She loves making costumes.

Owner: Koiasi Name: Chimera Personality: Serious, Stoic, Stern.. are just a few words to describe Chimera. He has taken it upon himself to be the protector among his siblings. He wants nothing more than to grow up and show his parents that he can be responsible and ready to take on anything! He obeys the rules, no matter what. And while he doesn't expect his siblings to be as serious as he is, he won't let them disobey anything that mom or dad has set in stone either. He can be rather hard to get along with in that way, but all his siblings would also know that he would do absolutely anything for them. And.. perhaps he has a weak spot for any of them... should they ever ask a favor. Prompt
Chimera's eyes shifted around, looking at every corner of the room. He stood stout and vigilant, ever watching. His eyes flicked to the center of the room where his siblings were playing a game of tag. He just stood there like a statue.. not moving a single muscle except for his orbs.
"Tag! You're it!" There was loud giggling coming from kit who had smacked him on the shoulder. The kit, his sister, instantly began to run away, laughing even louder. However, when she cast a glance over her shoulder she noticed that Chimera hadn't moved.
"Oh... come on Chimera! Play with us!" She gave him large eyes, her tail flicking heavily behind her. He didn't say anything, just stood there. "Fine!" She growled, heaving her shoulders. "You're no fun anyway!" Her little paws stomped off.
The line of Chimera's lips turned thin, forming a small frown that he didn't let his sister see. He heard the approach of paws and turned his head only an inch to see one of his brothers approaching. "You know.." He began, smiling softly. "You can play." He motioned with a turn of his head toward his siblings. "They just want to spend some time with you."
A small breath left Chimera's lips and he nodded. Stepping forward, he continued to eye the area before approaching. "Roger that." He said in a flat tone as if talking into a mic. "Perimeter secure, no immediate threats detected." He tilted his head toward his siblings. "Everything should be okay..." He let his voice trail off but as he approached he stumbled and started making choking noises.
"Chimera!" There were frantic tones coming from his siblings.
"I..." Gargled sounds were coming from his throat. "They found me... I... I... don't think... I'm... going... to... make... it... Avenge me..." He then collapsed, falling on one of his siblings. Many squeals were heard coming from the rest of them. And for the first time... Chimera took time off from his surveillance to actually have fun.
Owner: Belloblossom Name: Cardinal (affectionately called Cardi) Personality: Cardi may look dark and mysterious, but in reality, he's quite the sweetheart. Kind-hearted and empathetic, Cardi can't stand to see someone with a frown on his face. It's a good thing he's inherited his mother's love for cooking, though the treats he gives other noodles aren't quite what you'd expect from a chef's son. You see, Cardi loves to make candy and do to practicing so often, he's turned into quite the confectionery professional. Come every Halloween he always makes candies to give out and he is always looking for new skills to acquire. He is well known in the family for making flavored caramels and he's taken an interest in chocolate recently. Prompt Cardinal and his mother were working side by side, each working on a meal of their own. While Maika was working at an almost leisurely pace as she heated one of her sauces, Cardinal was slaving away as he tempered the dark chocolate. Into the hot pan, into the cold bucket and then into the hot pan again.
After that, it had to cool down on a separate pan that was room temperature and then-- "Gosh, darnit! The chocolate got too cold again!" Cardi said, stamping one of his paws in frustration. With caramel all he had to do was make sure it didn't burn, but with chocolate, it required so much more precision work! He let out a sigh and watched the chocolate bubble and crack in the cool bucket and then he picked it up again and slid the remaining chucks into the hot pan.
As Cardi worked, he felt someone watching him and without looking up, he knew that it had to be his mom. She was always encouraging him to pursue the path of making food for the enjoyment of others, but she had always told him to make sure that he was enjoying himself too. "Because if you're not enjoying yourself, it'll reflect in the taste of the food you make." She had told him once. "Something that could've tasted sweet will turn bitter if you make it with a darkness in your mind."
These words stuck in his mind and he stopped, turned the heat off the pan and let out a sigh. Rolling his neck and his shoulders, he relaxed bit by bit. "I'm still practicing." He reminded himself softly, "Being stressed while I'm cooking won't do me any good, so let's go back to the easy stuff for now."
With these thoughts in mind, he started to clean up after himself. He would try with the chocolate again later. In the meantime, what he really wanted to do was make some caramels.
Owner: Belloblossom Name: Eve (For "All Hallow's Eve") Personality: Eve can't exactly be called "sinister", but there's not something that it quite right with this young noodle. Maybe it's because she's named after the spookiest day of the year, or maybe it's because she doesn't like to play with the other noodles. She is her daddy's girl and her primary hobby is making plushies like he does, but while his are cutesy and friendly of appearance, Eve's are considerably more... dark. She has a fondness for putting crosses for eyes and leaving needles stuck in the little fabric hearts that she'll make on the chest of the plushies she makes. What's even scarier is when she makes them in the likeness of the noodles she's made. Is it just me or are these crafts seeming less like plushies and more like... voodoo dolls? What do you make:

Owner: PixelDeerest Name: Casik Personality: Casik loves to spend his time by seeing how well he can keep himself hidden in the shadows. By this, he means that he loves to play 'hide n' seek', but he prefers to hide - rather to seek or be sought. You could say that adorable little Casik is a trickster - but he doesn't really have a desire to scare or trick anyone, rather, he likes to 'noodle watch'. Casik's desires spring from looking upon the inner workings of noodle interactions and inner society. The little noodle has a special place in his heart for watching other noodles fall in love, or when seeing young couples flutter around each other - as well as long-time couples be affectionate and relaxed.
Prompt
In the shadows of the Noodle Shop, many things hide.
Some noodles prefer the spotlight, or the glamour of the many attentions that are given to the thousands of beautiful noodles that often emerge through the shop doors - however, there are some select few that prefer the quite silence of the dark corners, and the shadowed beams of the rafters.
Casik, a small but confident fox, chooses these more...silent places as his main space to hunker down in. While interaction with others isn't undesired, he still would choose to watch the other patrons interact over choosing to do some interacting of his own.
Yet, the fox had no idea why he so preferred the particular route in life. Regret, as he had come to know, wasn't what had caused his particular case of wondering why he had become this way - but instead curiosity was what forced his hand to turn-over the decisions he had made in life, and ponder upon them.
It was not like he had been born to a bad family - no, he quite liked them. They were his net to fall to, or his safety blanket. If he did so choose to converse with anyone, it would be them. Because, no matter when and where, they would be there - as was right, and true.
But, as he looked back, perhaps that was why he had become so quite and reserved. Not for a matter of never getting the chance to speak up, but because he had never had the need to. Whenever something had come up, which had been rare to begin with, they had always known how to soothe his problems before he had even had the chance to speak. This, while influencing his habits, had been a comfort and staple in his life for a long time. This seemingly existent sense of prophecy has affirmed his feelings that he was loved, and so had his place already set in life.
Furthermore, as it was his most favorite activity to spy on the lovely couples of the shop, this habit of his had also (most likely) sprung from this realization that Casik was most certainly loved. He tended to value love as the source that fueled most every hardship and beautiful movement created by those who lived on Earth. As well, that love was the driving force behind every action forged by the living, and perhaps the dead.
Therefore, Casik was a creature like the ones he often watched - fueled by love, and centered in family. His ability to be surrounded by softly breaking waves of family allowed his to sit steadily in the dark, while watching the more tumultuous lives of the noodles in the shop throw them forward in back - but being happiest when he can watch them, too, find the rock of love to steady themselves on.
