Having powered up in her usual alleyway Harmonia set off across the rooftops. She had gotten out later than usual since her father had decided to stay up later than he normally did and she feared alerting him to her nightly activities. So far everything had been going well and her parents didn't suspect anything despite her unusual habit of not wanting to get out of bed in the mornings. She found herself hitting that snooze button more often than not now. But, it was getting easier. At least that's what she kept telling herself.

Hopping along the rooftops Harmonia tried to focus in to any auras around her. She was still rather poor at catching power signatures if she wasn't fairly close to whomever it was she sensed. At least that's what seemed to be the norm for her so far. It just gave her more motivation to work harder at it. She wanted to be the best she could be. She wanted to prove she was able to hold her own and be the heroine of the story like she knew she was.

Sure Corinth's story had made her think a bit more about what life as a senshi meant but at the same time having met Merlinite proved that not all of the negaverse members were cold-blooded killers. Knowing that not all of them were out there to bring about the demise of everyone they met lightened the warning from her Knight friend.

She hadn't been paying much attention to where she was headed before she realized that DCU was just ahead of her. Stopping she paused a few blocks away from the university not wanting to possibly catch the attention of a night owl college student.

Guess I'll float around here for a little while. College students out late would make good targets for the Nega's I think.

The scream echoed off of the buildings and Harmonia stopped dead in her tracks. "What the..."

And that was when she felt the aura. It was familiar, but not the same as Merlinites. Unlike that Captains aura this one didn't feel quite as heavy but the sense of something being wrong about it was definitely there. She waited only a second more to determine that this person was around the same strength as herself before she took off over the roof tops.

Maybe this was it. Maybe this was her chance to finally see what fighting the negaverse was like! She was more than ready to dive into battle and come out victorious like the hero was suppose to do.

That scream was close by. I hope whoever it was is alright!

Not seeing any civilians below, Harmonia jumped down in a few short leaps from ledge and window sills to the pavement below. She barely paused a moment before racing to what she was sure was the correct location. The heels of her boots pounded on the pavement making soft sounds with each step she took. She didn't care though. She needed to get to the source of that scream.

When she rounded the corner though and took in the scene in front of her. "Get away from her!"

She had no idea if the girl was alive or not yet. The little light that leaked into the run down alleyway they were in didn't let her get a good view of the victim. Not wanting to be unprepared, Harmonia quickly took a fighting stance.

Dead...

Harmonia had never seen a corpse before and she found herself staring at the girl's body. It was so surreal to know you were staring at someone who had been alive only moments ago but was now laying lifeless in front of you. All the while the girls killer stood there gloating over the fact that he had stolen...her starseed.

The glint of the starseed in the mans hand barely pulled Harmonia's attention away from the girl. The horror of what had happened was not diminished in any way but that words, starseed, triggered her to tune into the world around her besides the body and she saw the glint in the mans hand. Faust had mentioned those, and Corinth had said his had been ripped out as well.

Wait...she could return that starseed couldn't she. She only needed to get it back.

As willing as she was to fight, Harmonia wasn't as prepared as she thought she was for, despite the warning, she had lost herself in thought for far too long and had no time to try to get out of the way of the man's charge. She felt the impact of his body hitting hers and instinctually tried to brace herself as she felt her body fall towards the ground.

The temporary daze of shock from the attack and feeling her body hit the ground had just faded when she heard words being spoken and felt the grip in her hair. What is he saying?! She had no idea what the lieutenant was saying as he dragged her back to her feet while she gripped the hand in her hair trying to dislodge it or at least relieve the pain.

Was he...praying? A shiver ran up her spine.

The thought was quickly abolished from her mind as she attempted to double over in pain and wrap her arms around her midsection after his fist connected with her stomach. The wind was pushed right out of her and she coughed and sputtered as he yanked back on her head.

Knowing she needed to get some distance Chailee took in a deep breath while simultaneously kicking upwards. At such a close distance she felt there was no way she could miss or at least she could force him to disengage from her for a moment so that she could recoup herself and try to figure out a plan.

Everything had happened so fast but I need to get that starseed back.

Finally! Some breathing room.

But it didn't last long. She barely had enough time to catch a breath or two and to ground herself before he was coming at her again. That scant time though proved to help her as she focused her entire being on the fight and managed to dodge the punches thrown at her.

She may be new at all of this but the basics of fighting were common sense. Don't get punched or hit. Avoid as much as you can and dish out as much as you receive. So far all she had managed to dish out was a kick. In fact she found herself constantly on the defensive and she had no idea how to turn it around.

Seeing the first kick coming, Harmonia dodged to the side and felt the air of the attack as the foot just managed to graze past her without harm.

Oh I wish he'd stop with the praying. It's really creepy!

Thinking she had an opening she stepped forward intending to lay a punch on his lower jaw. She hadn't seen the kick and again she felt like she was flying backwards. This time the wall caught her half-way through her fall and she slid down the brick facade as she sucked in air.

Andrenaline was coursing through her as she attempted to stagger to her feet while breathing in as much air as possible to soothe the pain in her chest from the kick.

This isn't how it's suppose to be...

Leaning her head to try and alleviate the pain from his hand once again in her hair, Harmonia struggled. The slap to the face brought tears to her eyes but also worked to distract her from pain elsewhere in her body. She knew she needed to take the offensive, otherwise she'd be in trouble. Well...more trouble than she was in already.

A lot more trouble.

Again she had no way of reaching out to punch him. Well, not reach him and have any sort of power so instead she grabbed hold of his wrist that held onto her hair and dropped her weight just enough to kick upwards.

"Get away from me!"

This was war right? She could fight dirty if she needed to.

More than likely it would be more of her knee than foot connecting with anything considering how close they were but at this point, any type of contact, especially where she was aiming for, would be a point for her.

If I can just get the upper hand I can go offensive.

She knew she had hit something. What she wasn't sure until she saw the obvious pain in the Nega's face. For a moment she feared he wasn't going to let go as his grip tightened in her hair causing her to wince. Bu then his grip loosened until it was non-existent and he was no longer lording over her and she scrambled to her feet.

Now that she had him in obvious pain and away from her she knew she had to take the initiative and build on her small victory. Throwing a few punches at him should do the trick, right? At least that's what she thought as she rushed forward.

Pulling her hand back she punched first towards his stomach hoping to incapacitate him some more. He had managed to keep from doubling over, but maybe a hit in the gut would do the trick?

Then again, why stop with one punch if she could keep going? All she was focused on right now was taking him out enough so she could snatch the starseed back. She didn't want that poor girl to die!

She thought she had him. She really thought she was getting somewhere and would actually manage to assert herself in the fight and take command of it. After all, she had caused him to pull away from her and it had been obvious she caused him pain. Her mind mentally congratulated her for this achievement. -This- was how it should go since good always conquered evil.

When the man grabbed her arm her eyes widened in surprise before pain blossomed from her elbow and spread outward as she was forced to lean inward and into the punch sent in her direction. She was so completely ill prepared for the amount of pain that exploded along her jawline as the fist made contact. Her head whipped to the side and the rest of her body wanted to follow suit but was held back by the Nega's grip on her arm.

Harmonia had never felt such a thing before and no amount of andrenaline was going to mask it. The punch had actually caused a swift moment of blackness in her vision and she barely managed to stay on her feet. Her free hand moved to cover the injured area but she feared touching it. She didn't want to know the extent of the damage or to cause anymore pain than she already was in.

Desperate she tried to wrench herself free of his grasp before attempting to twist and throw another punch at him.

Harmonia was beginning to realize she may have jumped into a fight she had no way of winning.
