Roll 2d10. This is the number of strokes you need to stroke in order to escape the pool.
Roll 1d8 in each subsequent post. This is how far you swam in that post. Keep swimming until your cumulative total is equal to or higher than the total you rolled in your first post.

While he had escaped the maze and the hot spring (while it was tempting), Uru was making his way to the dorms when he stumbled across another portal. Curiosity winning him over, he approached the creepateria and the chocolate portal. The marks along the edges showed the worn the entryway had been put through, yet, it held strong. He had places to be and things to do and yet... he was pushing his way through it.

He wasn't complaining, he found this portal very, very enjoyable. Many would misconcept his love of chocolate because he was a hellhound. That was it, though, he loved chocolate. He also liked a challenge. He also liked physical activities. So this? This swimming through chocolate? This was perfect. However, the fact that he was drinking chocolate as he swam... well, that was something he found strange and not normal. Hopefully, the clothes that he had packed into a bag wasn't getting sticky and wet... he still had to meet someone and set a date. Perhaps he would be forgiven if he asked to go back to his place to change...
The demon gives a few strokes, finding the pool of liquid sweetness to be rather... thick. Challenge accepted!

The demon stroked through the pool, taking brief breathers, mostly to bask in the fact that he was in a pool of chocolate. There wouldn't be many other opportunities like this one. Sure there were other students around him, but that didn't matter to him; he was enjoying this for as long as he could. Conflicting with his own agenda, this was something he could probably convince his boilfriend was a necessary... indulgement. Yeah, he could play it off as a task on his bucket list and that he couldn't pass on enjoying it for as long as he could. He just had to make up a bucket list that was somewhat convincing. As Uru waded in the water, he came to the conclusion that he wasn't going to lie to his boilfriend. There wasn't a benefit to it. This relationship was still new... he had wanted something long term - something he hadn't discussed with the monster, but lying wasn't a good way to start it off.
Rolling his shoulders, the demon began to stroke toward the other end of the pool to leave this place. He wasn't going to lie to the monster, but he was going to make sure that he would at least spend some time with the boil before the day's end. It was only right, after all.
