This is a wide open set of floors with huge white pillars, spaced twenty feet apart from one another in straight lines, all parallel to one another. There are several floors like this, resulting in a huge substructure that spans much of the area beneath Las Noches.

Why would someone come up with that for me?!?!
Rosa appeared underneath the substructure of Las Noches walking around, looking at the huge clusters of "Gappy" as they were called. She turned to look back at Carmellia, and smiled nervously. "Do you think you can eat them? Try one for now, and see how it goes. If it hurts at all, we try something else. Alright?" She smiled and looked at the spirits clustered about, not really even sure what the hell they were. Then she got a better idea... For now, she'd keep her mouth shut and see how it went.

Octava EspadaCarmellia's candy pink eyes wandered back and forth as she looked at the many "Gappy" spirits. Right off the bat, Rosa suggested she eat one and Carmellia gave her a look like she had been offended. "Were you even listening? He said they blow up when you kill them. Do you want me to blow my face off?"

Why would someone come up with that for me?!?!
Rosa looked like she had been slapped a little, then looked at her feet shyly. "I just thought you could eat just about anything. Sorry... Ummm... we could try opening a Garganta to the middle of the desert, shoving them all in, and then blowing them up where they can't harm anyone." She looked unsure of the idea herself. But she hadn't heard a better suggestion yet, so unless she did, she would start by opening the biggest Garganta she could maintain.

Octava EspadaCarmellia put a sleeve covered hand on Rosa's shoulder. "Come on. I never said I wouldn't. But I have more restraint than that. I don't eat anything if I don't know what it is. You know that. But you do have a good idea." Carmellia rolled back her sleeves and started to tear open a Garganta leading to the vast desert. And now all that's left was to distract the Gappies. She stuck two fingers in her mouth and whistled loudly before shaking her butt. "Come and get me!"

Rosa smiled and watched as Carmellia shook her a**, but she had to focus on keeping this big a** Garganta open. So she closed her eyes and focused on maintaining the hole in reality. Slowly, as one Gappy Spirit came to investigate, more followed. As more followed, even more followed suit. All of the horde soon found itself barreling towards Carmellia, and the large Garganta behind her. "Get out of the way!!" She was shouting, but the rumble of the wave of spirits might have drowned her out.

Octava EspadaCarmellia didn't even need to be told to get out of the way. She jumped into the air and did a backflip before shooting out her threads to hang from the ceiling. She looked down and watched as the Gappy Spirits barreled into the Garganta, a bunch at a time. "Once they're all out, we can follow them and finish them off!"

Rosa kept smiling and looking around to see how many were left, and as the last few crowded through, Rosa pulled the Garganta into a shorter version, large enough for a person of average size to walk comfortably through. "I'll follow you, sweetie!" She motioned for her Mistress to lead the way, not wanting to rush ahead of the Spider again.

Octava EspadaCarmellia flipped back down and landed neatly on her feet just as Rosa pulled the garganta to a smaller size. "Excellent work, mariposa." Carmellia gave Rosa a little peck on the tip of her nose before running after the Gappy horde. All that's left was to figure out the most satisfying way to kill them. ((I know exactly where to go!))
