William wasn't generally out this late, but he'd stayed after class with some of this classmates to get a bit of extra work done for a project they were working on. It was worth a signification portion of his grade, something being home schooled all his life was a bit of strange concept for him, but he couldn't say he wasn't enjoying the group project dynamic.
He'd left campus and headed for his car surprised that they had stayed so late. The sky was already dark and he partners seemed to scurry and vanish almost, as if they were afraid of the night. William found it strange until he swore he heard a scream and looked up worried, but also intrigued.
He momentarily wondered if maybe the school was on haunted ground because that might explain why is classmates had disappeared so quickly, but he doubted it. Another scream, he was certain this time, had him dropping his things and heading off in the direction of the noise. If someone was in trouble, he figured it was best to try to help. He pulled out his cell phone to dial the police, but it was hard to dial and run.
Assess the situation first, dial later, he thought, tucking the phone back and his pocket.

She heard the scream and it lifted her head, concern flooding her system with adrenaline. There were many reasons someone might scream, out in the dark, but most of it involved the Negaverse in some way. Which meant that it had to be investigated and dealt with... whatever the cause, really.
Ida turned on her toe, midstride, and oriented on the sound as it came again. Her pace picked up with the help of senshi speed and there were few obstacles that couldn't be conquered with an easy leap. As she closed in, she felt the youma signature appear on the edges of her senses, that creeping, black sludge of unease and fear. Negaverse involvement confirmed then... or at least part of it. There was no hesitation in her then. Ida knew what she needed to do, and whatever had happened before, whatever she had been feeling, it didn't matter any more. This she could still do, fighting youma.----- From the other direction, forming a triangle of three converging destinies, was a slim grey cat who had been lurking outside of a cafe... hoping someone would take pity on the cute darling and give her something to eat. She was STARVING... and it echoed in her plaintive cries when she thought she spotted someone with something promising. Sadly, all she got for her troubles was a stroke of her spine before the woman in the fashionable stilettos moved on with her business.
Ash sighed to herself as she circled back around, her tail lashing in irritation. She was getting tired of this... she really needed to find a more reliable method of feeding herself. The cry that rang out in the darkness made the people around her duck and hunch as they moved in the opposite direction, preferring to not get involved over helping someone in need. Cowards...
Granted, she would be inclined to go the other direction to, but she was a Guardian Cat. Fleeing at the first sign of trouble was just not an option... but approaching cautiously, that she could do!
Tail slung low, Ash slunk off through the shadows towards the distress calls, feeling the disgusting youma energy the closer she got... and the comforting feel of an eternal senshi as well. Oh, thank god... There was going to be someone to deal with the situation.

William rounded and corner and stopped dead in his tracks seeing a woman half cowering half kicking what appeared to be an android of some sort. He was looking around for a moment not sure if he was dreaming, but then he ran straight toward the woman and the creature.
"Shoo, get away from her," he shouted making a shooing motion.
The only thing he succeeding in doing was getting the things attention and it charged at him. He jumped out of the way and looked to the still cowering woman. "Run," he called out as he scrambled to his feet and kicked at the beast as it tried to once again attack him.
Whatever it was, was covered and jet black fur and it lacked eyes, when it moved it left a shroud of black dust in it wake. The thing seemed to barely be held together, like it could possible crumble, William wasn't too sure of it or what was going on at the moment.
It backed him into a corner and he could barely see or breath for the shroud of dust. What he did see was the creature opening it huge mouth, which looked to him more like a black hole with teeth than anything else.

She could feel herself getting closer and as she ran, Ida swept her hand up in front of her, trailing glowing flower petals.
"Heavenly Orchid Arrows!" She said as she grabbed up the bow and pulled on the invisible string. An arrow sprang to life between her hands, glowing like a star or a slash of light. Golden heels beat the pavement as the eternal rounded the corner and got a good look at what she was dealing with.
It was a lot to take in at once, but her eyes swept over it and got the important things... a civilian being menaced by a youma, which demanded action. Other considerations could wait and Ida skidded to a halt, aiming the arrow she had held straight for the shifting monster made of dust and darkness. She released it with a flex of her fingers and it roared across the space between them to smack the youma and explode. The bow in her hands dissolved into sparks, but the Eternal was already moving again, rushing for the young man to grab him by the wrist and start dragging him out of the way of the beast.
"Come on! I can protect you, but I need you out of the way!" She said, her mental fingers crossed the danger would make him willing to take orders. She wasn't looking forward to arguing with someone while she was trying to keep them safe.

William eyes went wide with awe when a girl rounded the corner and smacked the youma with an arrow the thing crying out in pain and whipping around to find the offending attacker. He had to admit that was really cool, but he was beginning to feel like he walked onto a movie set and at any moment someone would yell cut.
He found himself being dragged back and he went willingly even though he was extremely curious as to what the thing in front of him. However as adventurous as he was and as much as thoughts of the paranormal gave him a thrill, he'd never been faced with anything like this.
"Gotcha," he said seriously, "but what exactly is that? It was trying to attack a lady. I think she got away when I got its attention."
He backed up when he saw the thing getting closer and the shroud of dust growing around it. "I think its ready for round 2. Watch out!"Whimsical Blue Feel free to kill it dead!

Ida tugged the man away and then turned to push him with both hands around the corner of a building where he'd be marginally safer.
"I can't explain! Just run, ok? Its not safe here!" She said before she released him and darted back around the corner. His shout was not unnoticed and Ida ran to the side to draw the thing's attention away from the weaker prey.
Eyes on me... watch me! Not the civilian... me!
Throwing up her hand again as she skidded to a halt, Ida called out her attack and shot the youma smartly with another arrow. She felt it drag energy from her as it left her hand, but she squared her shoulder and pressed her lips together. She wasn't done yet... she still at one more if it wouldn't go down.--- Ash started as a pair of people ran around the side of the building, one of them shining and one not. There! That was the eternal signature she felt, but the young woman with the dark hair was not one she knew. She didn't last long, rushing back the other way to deal with what the cat assumed as the youma she could sense. That left he young man, and it was in no way safe for him to be here.
Darting forward, Ash let out a plaintive noise as she wove around his ankles and reached up to paw at his legs. She kept her sounds in notes of distress in an effort to draw his attention down to her and forestall any move to go after the senshi. It wasn't her usual job, distracting the civilians, but she would do her best to help!

Willie was pushed around the corner and frowned, but knew this girl was far more capable of taking care of whatever that was than he. Still he didn't like the idea of leaving her. He wanted to say be careful or something but she disappeared back around the corner.
A cat was suddenly pawing at his legs and crying making him look down and frown. "It's not safe here kitty," he said bending down to scoop up the cat, "we should get out of here. That girl, whoever she is, looks like shes got this, so let get out of here. Right kitty kitty."
He gave the cat a smile figuring it would be okay to get them out of here. He bet whatever that thing was spooked her.

Perfect! He'd picked her up. Step in the right direction. One didn't typically go into battle with a monster with a cat in your arms. It was further encouragement that he spoke to her about leaving, as though she could actually understand him. (which she could, obviously, but he didn't know that and if she were a normal cat it would have been silly to talk to her.)
What was this though? Held to his chest, Ash could feel a now-familiar tug and warmth, that triggering sense inside of her that said this person is special. Oh, wonderful! Here was a chance to fullfill what she saw as a Mauvian's duty to their faction. Her purpose for being here on this planet.
Wiggling from of the arms that held her, Ash jumped to the ground and spun in place with a flourish. Something shiny and small fell to clink against the ground as she straightened up and flashed the young man a feline smile.
"I'm sorry if this comes off rather startling, Darling, but I really need you to pick up this pen for me and say 'Neckar Asteroid Power, Make-up!'" She said smoothly, as though this were nothing at all out of the ordinary.Kaori_luv skipping Ida for this post <3

He picked the cat up and was moving to get out of there when the cat jumped out of his arms, apparently not wanting to be picked up. When she did a little jump and a sort of wand hit the ground in front of her, he couldnt believe his eyes.
Eye which widened when it seems his eyes and ears were playing tricks on him as the cat started to talk to him. He rubbed them and blinked, but the cat and the trinket were still there. He pinched himself thinking maybe he'd fallen asleep which studying, but he felt it clearly so he was definitely awake.
"Little kitty, I dont think now is the time for such things," he said picking up the pen looking at it rather confusedly. "As is I'm talking to a cat and wondering if someone put something extra in the snacks for earlier."
He reached for Ash once more, pen still in hand, intending to pick her up and try to get them out of there.

His reaction was amusing and not unexpected. For most people, a talking cat was quite a lot to take in. Sadly, most people had more time to disbelieve in.
"You don't have to understand or even believe it all right now, as long as you do as I say." Ash said as he picked her up, squirming to use his hands as a spring board to gain a perch on his shoulders among the strands of sandy hair. She reached to bat at the pen in his hand, her voice cajoling.
"Look, that girl back there? She has one of these pens too. It gives her the strength she needs to fight that monster. Do you want to help her? Do you want to protect yourself? Then you need to use this power I'm giving you. I promise that when this is all over, you and I will sit down and I'll explain everything." The silver cat rubbed her cheek against his, her voice going gentle. "I know its a lot to take in and its hard to trust, but this is your destiny. This power belongs to you and only you. If you don't want it, then you can throw the pen away and I will go help the Senshi girl with the monster, but it would be a shame."

Willie frowned and looked back to where he'd come from and the girl that tried to save him. If this was all very real and it seemed it, maybe he could help more than just getting the out of there with the cat. He gripped the pen and looked at the cat before giving a firm nod. "Okay, nothing like a little destiny to shake it up in life," he said not really sure what he was saying.
Willie looked at the pen, feeling very weird and unsure, but gripped it firmly and called out. "Neckar Asteroid Power, Make-up!"
The light was a strange thing, but more strange was his whole outfit change and he was wearing ... pink ... pink and lots of it. He frowned deeply looking down, "you have got to be kidding me."
He looked back to the cat, feeling very just well, he wasn't sure, but he could feel like he wasn't sure, but he could feel a power close and he could even feel the cat. "This is very strange. What now kitty?"

The silver guardian felt a wash of warmth as the man under her paws transformed, going from a regular man to a glowing Senshi. She thrilled to see it and to feel her purpose in life fulfilled again. This was what she was here for. Awakening senshi, guiding them, helping them reach the height of their potential!
Fairly bursting with pride, she saw nothing at all to cause that frown on her senshi's face and she laughed as she pressed a paw to his cheek.
"Now you go help that other senshi! You're MUCH stronger now than you were as a civilian and you can take hits better too. You're also faster, and can jump very high! With all of this is a magic you can cast that's unique to you. That girl has her own and it'll be different than yours in looks, if not in function. If you want to use it, just concentrate on the power inside of you, feel it, and the words to summon your magic will come to you. There is no telling what will come out until you do it, but once you do, its always the same, until you get strong enough to reach the next stage of your power." Ash jumped down from her perch and took off towards where the senshi girl in purple was still fighting the beast, trying to draw it away from where the civilian had gone.
"Come on, Darling!"--- This youma was annoyingly persistent about not moving from that spot. As much as she provoked it, it just dug in its heels and lashed out at her, keeping her at arms length. Her magic was long used up by now, which left little alternative, but to bash away it with her fists... if she could get close enough to do so.

Neckar hadn't really wanted to run in the first place, but even adorned in this new outfit with this new he had a feeling he was totally out of his league and honestly he hoped he was dreaming because magic and talking cats, what else could it honestly be.
He took off after the car rounding the corner back to the senshi and feeling more her aura more readily now that his focus wasn't on the talking cat. It was a odd sort of warm smack in the face, not overwhelming but strong. He found himself doubting she needed a hand, but maybe she did as she was still fighting the creature. He ran over not sure really what to do but shouted at the other.
"Need a hand, not sure how all this works fully, but I'll do whatever you need."

She felt the small aura bloom nearby and then approach, suspecting the guardian cat had done what had been done for her and the young man she had saved was now one of them. There was a warmth of pleasure in knowing another of theirs had awakened to their power, but there was also worry. This was a hard life they lived, full of pain and struggle and the danger of it all ending far too soon. He had no idea what he was in for, but it was lucky she was here... she would help him, as much as she could.
He called out to her as he drew close, but there was no time to say anything. The youma lunged as it saw the weaker senshi and Ida cried out warning as she spun to block it. It darted past her and she followed close behind, lunging to slam her shoulder into it's hip and knock it off balance. It stumbled to its knees and she drew back to hit it again.
"We have to dust it! Just hit it... we can do this together!" She offered him a short smile before she lashed out in a kick, dancing back before gathering herself to strike it again.
