Beach Love Connection A Crack Breeding Event RP
There is always something special about this time of year. There is a chill on the wind, but a bonfire on the beach is always a good way to chase it off. The stars are unusually bright and the sound of the waves hitting the beach is lulling each into their own beach song. The most unexplainable happening is the way you feel when you look into that special someone's eyes. Perhaps you two come together or you meet on this particular night. Either way, it is said that that look is what has caused many to fall.
It has become a thing on this beach around this time of year. Everyone travels to Coconut Beach before sleeping all day. It's the weirdest sight to see! All these animal's bodies spread across the beach their chest rising and falling in sweet slumber. Some aren't able to sleep, instead they're kept away by the pure excitement they are feeling about the night that's about to come. They have heard the stories about the magic that happens on these nights. Sooner or later they're lulled into slumber, by their own choice or maybe even the hand of another worldly spirit...
When they wake, the full moon is climbing its way up into the sky, bonfires are spread across the beach, food is laying about in piles, and fireflies are trapped in jars as sorts of 'decorations' along with many of the beach's beautiful flowers. Someone went through all of the trouble to make up this place just for you all! Many hear the stories- that it is the Island's spirits themselves. That they lure them all here and put them into a deep sleep in order to work without being seen. It would make sense since they're the ones that provide...
There is no time to think about that now, night has fallen and you're starting to get that feeling in your chest. So turn to your lover and ask them for a dance or a walk on the beach or feel free to talk to someone. You never know, they could end up being your forever someone.

RULES
This portion of the event will not guarantee you a breeding- instead it will give you a chance of special edits or additions if you win a breeding slot. You must post at least four times (and need to be reasonable posts- not one liners) in order to be eligible for the perks.
Remember, just like in any other RP situation be courteous to the one you are RPing with. No godmoding or forcing your pet onto another will be allowed. You must discuss these matters with the other owner before moving forward. If we see any foul play we will toss you from the event.
Also, remember Gaia's rules! They're the ultimate ruling power, since, ya know, they could shut down this guild. So, please, be smart with your RP so we don't have to contact you about it.
Mostly, have fun! We're excited to see the connections that are made here tonight!

Sadie Sadie had never intended to come by the Coconut Beach, the lioness being as shy and skittish as she was around others. What would her going make any difference anyway? It wasn't as though she was a noticeable feline. Sure her fur was the color of the sun, her eyes the color of the sky, and maybe her voice was melodic when she sang, but all of these things were easily looked over by others when they found out how painfully introverted she was.
Yet, fully in the knowledge of her shyness, she had traveled to the beach. She had been creating a list of reasons on why she totally shouldn't be going, but every time she thought of another reason, her paws took her further towards the beach. It was quite strange...
She had left early that morning and arrived when not many other lions or dragons had arrived. She was glad of this, though she knew that it would be inevitable: Others would show. According to the rumors, many creatures of the Isle would show to the gathering on Coconut Beach and engage in a night of merriment. Maybe I'll find someone who will love singing as much as I do... Thought the lioness settling down in the sand and finding herself suddenly rather tired from her journey. Within moments, the lioness drifted off to sleep, wondering what had possessed her to come out in the open in the first place.

Rogue It was no surprise that Rogue traveled to Coconut Grove that day. He had been anticipating nearly for the whole year, for it was always a grand opportunity to meet some pretty creatures and for once, everyone seemed to be looking for the same thing: Romance.
Which, of course, Rogue happened to be the king of. With eye contact and a charming smile, he could sweep even the most determined of females off her paws. Of course... It did help that he had a bit of hypnotism magic that ran through his blood, a gift from his mother, who had charmed his father, for she couldn't acquire a mate on her own. She wasn't exactly the prettiest or most kind of lionesses, but Rogue's mother had been cunning and crafty and it was from her that he got his good sense. His ebony feathers were also a trait from Mummy Dearest.
Anyway, his night tonight was surely going to be one of the best. He was sure of it. He had gone last year, enjoying himself the whole night through. The sneaky lion had charmed his way into many hearts of females and perhaps tonight he would be able to form something more permanent. Not a mateship, of course, for those were for the foolish, but perhaps he would find a female willing to become the leading lady of his harem. For, if you are to build a harem, you have to actually acquire a female who will want to stay with it. How grand it would be, Thought he as he flew to Coconut Beach, If I find someone like this tonight.
Upon coming to the Beach, he settled in the sand like many others had done. He tried to choose a place closer to the females than where some other males had laid to rest, but at the same time, he didn't want to lay too close to the opposite gender in case they thought him to be coming on too strongly right off the bat. He had quite a lot of experience through trial and error, and it was this experience that was going to get him through the evening. And what a grand night it was going to be...

Frostbite It was rare that Frostbite ever traveled down from the Frosty Peaks, especially during the daylight hours. She detested the warmth of the sun and often shunned its light, preferring the clouds and the snow and the cold. Her thick fur was simply not suited for the hot weather that surrounded the Peaks!
And yet, here she was, flying from her icy home to the Coconut Beach, so to meet Ash, for she made a promise. The fiery lioness had overheard of a lovely, romantic evening that was supposed to be an occasion that all couples could enjoy. The idea of attending such a thing embarrassed Frostbite to no end, but Ash had seemed so excited...
"I just can't say no to her..." Muttered Frostbite as she flew into the clouds, hoping that they could offer some form of coolness to sooth her already heated fur. She let out a small sigh of relief when she spotted the beach and she landed, only to find that the sand was warm to the touch.
She gave a jump and was airborne once again, this time landing on damp sand. The water was tepid, unlike the frigid mountain water she was used to, but anything was better than hot rock particles. What creature in their right mind liked sand anyway? Snow was definitely better.
Now in a more comfortable location, Frostbite turned her head from one way to the other, hoping to see her female love, but she was unable to pick out the orange-red fur from the bodies of so many colorful lions and dragons. She began to feel anxious and she lay down on the damp sand, small waves occasionally coming to lap at her fur. Doing so suddenly made her feel oddly dozy, but Frostbite shook it off. She certainly would not be falling asleep until Ash arrived!

Enfys blinked at the beach sand and tilted her head to the side, wondering what in the world possessed her to come here. To find love perhaps? Rolling her eyed, she padded her way to a coconut tree, glancing upwards to start at the coconuts. Now, she is hungry, great. she rolled eyes at the coconut, a part of her hoping it won't fall on her out of spite.
Turning away, she eyed her surroundings and tilted her head again, blinking. She noticed a yellow bump, not part of the beach scenery. Curious, she padded her way to the bump and began to round it, examining the bump with some trepidation. Enfys poked at the bump with some interest. Something just does not look right with this rock...or whatever it is...

Viola Viola had been running faster than she had in ages. Running was always her favorite pass-time. She didn't run to go anywhere in particular, she ran to feel the wind buffeting her fur. Even as a gangling adolescent, Viola had been able to change direction at a moment's notice. This was helpful when she was going through the Isle, bounding through the windy paths of the forest and jungles.
Long stretches of sand were always Viola's preferred choice and she had traveled around all the edged of the Isle too many times to properly remember. Borders were easier to travel and you could run faster when there were fewer obstacles.
She wasn't quite sure when she came onto Coconut Beach, but she had to stop quite abruptly in order to prevent herself from crashing into the body of a lion, who was resting on the sandy beaches. Having stopped, the dragoness now took the time to look around and was rather surprised and unnerved to see the bodies of dragons and lions alike, splayed out or curled up (respectively) along the sand.
She walked around each body, occasionally leaning her head close to one or another, to make sure that they were all breathing. It would be more than alarming if they hadn't been, but it seemed as though they were all... sleeping? How strange...
What was even more strange was that Viola's legs were starting to tremble, as though from exhaustion, but Viola herself felt not a bit tired. She sunk into the sand with an un-elegant tumble and she found her body growing increasingly heavy. She would've raised a cry of alarm, when the dragoness slipped off into a deep sleep, which she would remain in until the moon rose high into the sky.

Sadie Sadie had never been a particularly heavy sleeper, in fact, it was quite the opposite. The ever-wary lioness often couldn't sleep and if not for the unnatural feeling in the back of her mind, to tell her to sleep until the moon rose, she wouldn't have been sleeping at all. She expected, due to the whispering in her mind, that when she woke, it would be night and come nightfall, the merrymaking would begin and she would have a lovely time.
Only... Things don't always go as planned it seems, especially for nervous things like Sadie, for when she woke, the sun was still in the sky. This was not the first thing our yellow leo noticed, given the circumstances, of course. Someone was prodding at her!
"Eek!" Sadie's wings rose quickly in alarm, first straight in the air and then around her face. Rolling over, her wings formed a bit of a cocoon around her head and upper body. One might remark that it was a similar reaction you might get when poking at a pillbug or a rolly-poley. However, unlike a pillbug, which would eventually open up and skitter away, Sadie showed no sign of opening up her wing enclosure any time soon. She did however attempt communication with her assailant, "Wh-Who're you? W-W-What do you w-want? " She asked, her stammer coming in as a natural reaction to being all manner of nervous from the surprise appearance of another creature. Falcona Omigosh, Enfys is so pretty! emotion_kirakira

Starla "Lucian, come on!" Called the purple and white lioness, "We simply have to get there soon, else we'll have to dogpile and lay on top of others joining the event! Trust me, I've heard rumors! If we want to get a good spot to sleep until nightfall, we absolutely have to get there early!" In her excitement, Starla had been flying in large circles over her darling Lucian, but as a thought struck her, she stopped and grinned mischievously down at her companion, "You don't want to force me to lay into close quarters with another male, do you?" She asked, a playful sparkle in her yellow eyes.
She grinned at him, her feathers fluffed out and almost bristling with anticipation. A whole night of fun and romance! Of course, it would've been just as nice if it were just her and Lucian, but sometimes it was good to open up and get to know others. Besides, who knew? Maybe there would be the members of a pride attending this party and the couple might find a group to settle down in and raise cubs...
The thought alone made Starla positively squeal and she flew back to her emerald lion. "I was just teasing earlier, you know." She assured him, "I'll never have anyone, but you. I'm just excited, though I'm sure you figured that out." With a soft purr, Starla stalled in the air a moment, before pressing her nose briefly to Lucian's. Her eyes were dancing when she pulled away and she took off ahead of him again as they neared their destination: Coconut Beach.

Though many were gathering on this island it was more out of curiousity that Xiao'tong ventured there, half submerged for the time being as others began arriving and settling into place. So far none looked like him in any way, perhaps they would find him weird? That might be fun! Still, for now he simply watches excitedly as more and more come along to see what the fuss is about. Spying a few though he assumes some are couples...flocking in together to rest and hope for something special to happen.
By now Xiao had skittered up out of the water fully, a water lion forever an adult in a more teen aged form. From his spiked hair tuft to his large fluffy tail he may very well look very out of place. Ears swiveling he begins slinking around watching everyone with great interest, a big happy smile on his maw. If nothing else happened here for him, he surely hoped to make a friend or two. That was his main goal after all.

Much like his father Gorgy, Attor adored the beach...though he didn't share his father's love of licking sand. No, he'd heard of what might transpire on ol Coconut beach and he was hoping to find that special someone. He could party like any other lion dragon or ligron, but at the same time there was a little bit inside that longed for more substance. He'd seen how his father was, how he has not only siblings but half siblings and how some are just messed up...One was a blob of goo and another has bones sticking from her ear for pete's sake!
No, Attor had a plan...until he got to the beach. For the first time ever the young tough lion felt confused and uncertain, there were so many here already with only more to arrive as the events unfolded. "Heh, this might get crowded." With a quick pat to his chest he decides to make a real entrance, flying high then diving low over a fire so the flames just barely tickle his belly before he lifts off again. Maybe he could impress someone with his flying!

So, a mass was gathering on a beach, singles and couples alike. Oh how wonderous this would be, to watch them all and perhaps have a little fun of his own. In reality though the beast simply wished to get his own spawn into the world, emotion was alien to him. A happy deep chuckle escapes his bloodied maw as he pads toward the bonfire, for now deciding to halt any attacks. After all...he wasn't mindless, he could control the urge to aim for prey or work to destroy another.
Chains clink together lightly as the big male settles down to watch everyone, his long tongue dangling from bloody lips. If the beliefs were true, then even another male could end up producing babies with him, how interesting that would be. Though if none felt brave enough to approach and he'd be left to no offspring yet...he'd still be learning names and seeing how others act.

Enfys was not that surprised when the lump moved. Then again, it was not part of the beach so she kind of expected it. A lioness. That was interesting. Not only are the dragons here, but the lions are too. Must be a popular place to be.
Enfys watched as the lion screeched and dodged the wings that were outstretched. Blinking, she tilted her head and watch the lion (which she realised was not full yellow as she thought) curl up into a "ball" of wings. Poking it again with her paw, she barely heard the voice coming from within.
"I thought you were a lump of very yellow rock. I scared you so therefore I apologise." She murmured into the cocoon. Softly. Really softly. Enfys needs to work on her communication skills. She was never very loud as a young one, so what she heard. Then again, this will be the firsts time she is here socialising with other lions or dragons.
This is going to be interesting... belloblossom Awww, thank you! I won her at the name game :3

Ash flew through the sky, appearing as an almost comet to the untrained eye. Her excitement and nervousness caused her fiery energy to flare out and lick like wildfire with her contrasting emotions. She was definitely an emotional mess, and feared some other lion, or worse, lioness would make a show for her snowy love. Pumping her wings as hard and fast as she could, Ash raced through the skies and breathed a sigh of relief only when she saw coconut beach in sight. The joy she felt lit her from within, and she felt herself glow brightly and warmly. Unfortunately others would see her in the sky, and the only eyes she wanted on her was Frostbite's. Ash refused to make eye contact with any others as she landed and glanced around quickly, looking for her heavenly blue glow. " Frostbite?!" She called out, feeling an odd sleepiness come over her. She shook it away with a low growl. No sleep until I find her. Of course she's not in the sand with all of the bodies. It's too warm, Ash mentally bopped herself in the head and went to walk along the water line; where the ocean met the sand. After quite a few flustered glances this way and that, Ash spotted Frostbite and lovingly smiled. She only had eyes for the frosty lioness. " Frostbite! You made it," she said happily, and trotted over to lay down in the damp sand next to her love, then nuzzled the side of Frostbite's cheek in affection.
