Aiden walked over to the window, grabbing a hold of the drawstring he opened the blinds letting the morning sun spill into the room. It was odd living in a dorm, considering he lived at home for his first two years of college since he was 'technically' still a high school student at the time, however he'd admit it was convenient living this close to classes and not having to commute anymore.

He grabbed his backpack and gathered his Linear Algebra text book and his homework, which was tucked securely in his notebook, for class. With everything packed his in his backpack he swung the black bag over his shoulder before pulling out his phone from his back pocket and checking the time. 8:47, 13 minutes till class, plenty of time. he thought with an almost bored expression. At the moment his current record was 9 minutes and 12 seconds, today he hoped to break that.

Picking up his iPod and sticking the headphone ear buds in his ears and turned on the device to listen to some motivating music. Tucking the iPod in his back pocket he swiped his fingers over his phones' touch screen and opened up the clock app, switching it to stop watch mode. With a quick tap on the start button, he stuck the phone in the pouch on the shoulder strap and took off out the door. He made quick haste going down two flights of stairs, jumping over the galvanized metal handrails, and emerging from the north exit.

The quickest way from point A , where he was at, to point B, where his class was at, required him to run downhill along the side walk till he came to a bench that sat along an eleven foot tall concrete retaining wall for an elevated flat patch of greenery. From there he'd have to run along the grassy area and jump off the other side onto a table and run across another open area to the brick math building. Spotting the bench he leapt onto the back and propelled himself upward, grabbing a hold of the top of the concrete wall he hoisted himself up with ease.

The elevated grass area was a good four foot drop from the top of the other side of the retaining wall at this particular spot, consider it a precautionary measure so someone doesn't walk off the grassy area because they were too tired from studying. Maintaining momentum is one key part of parkour, hesitation and or slowing down usually result in miss judging a jump and inevitably falling which could cause some pretty bad injuries if you're not careful. Normally he was fairly careful to only do his 'stunts' as his mother put it, when nobody was around or when he knew the path was clear. However when you can't see what's on the other side of say a wall, it's not uncommon to assume you're clear when in actuality you're not. Unfortunately for both him and the blond haired student below he wasn't expecting someone to be sitting right where he intended to land.

In an attempt to avoid landing on the other student, Aiden propelled himself away from the wall finding himself in an awkward roll, the corner of his Linear Algebra book digging into his shoulder blade. He let out a pained hissing sound through clenched teeth as he rolled over to get up. The black haired boy turned to look at the other student, and pulled his headphones out of his ears. Vivid blue eyes met slate colored eyes with a cross between an apologetic expression and one of worry, "I'm so sorry, are you ok?"

It was early, almost too early, but Alexandre was on campus and waiting for his class at 10 to start. Since he was here early he'd decided to lay down on the grass, right under the wall so he had the shade it offered, warm clothing kept him warm as did the towel he' laid down under himself. It was still cold out but he was looking up at the bare trees and the clouds which promised snow. He was planning some form of painting which used these elements so was trying to memorize everything he was seeing.

He'd just been sitting up and going for his school bag, specifically his sketch book, so he could sketch out the idea forming in his head when it happened. Someone came leaping over him and did some sort of a roll and once they seemed stable they had turned to look at him.

Looking up from where he'd been hunching over to get his school bag, where his sketch book was safely kept, he focused cold slate eyes on the taller figure. "I'm fine." Cold, almost as cold as the snow which the sky promised to dump on them. It was December and it was cold out, breath could be seen swirling from peoples mouths and noses, and Christmas was right around the corner. The blue and gray check scarf that covered his neck tightly stood out against his black pea coat and the black hat he had been wearing to keep his head and ears warm.

Aiden exhaled a sigh of relief, his breath lingering in the cold air for a mere moment before dissipating into nothing. The look in the others eyes accompanied by the tone of his voice was a little unnerving; he didn't seem scared nor surprised, rather he seemed cold and irritated. Choosing not to press the subject further Aiden looked over his shoulder at his math building then back to the slate colored eyes, their unwavering stare felt as if they were trying to bore holes through his head.

Jack Frost chose to make his presence known, placing a whisper of a kiss the back of his neck sending an involuntary shiver down his spine. "I'm sorry, I didn't know you were there" He pushed himself off the ground, not allowing the soreness from landing awkwardly on his book to show. Cheeks pinched red by the touch of cold, ears stinging from winters love bites, he pushed himself off the ground whipping the dirt that clung to his hands off onto his pants "please forgive me, I need to go, I'm late." He didn't mean to sound rude or impolite but his math teacher was one where if you're late you get double homework.

Turning on his heel he ran across the rest of the grassy area to the opposite retaining wall, placing both hands atop the concrete he swung his legs over the side landing on the wooden picnic table below then jumping to the ground below. Making a v-line to the brick math building, Aiden bounded up the 15 steps, grabbed the handle to open the door and disappeared inside.

When class gets out, he'd decided that it would be fitting to swing by the common area and order some hot cocoa, just on the off chance that he was still out there. An apology of sorts, but also an excuse to get his name.

Alexandre had been having a rough couple of weeks. His life was a bit up in the air, emotionally at any rate, and his mind wasn’t much better. So much had happened and he had so many things going on, he had to wonder if only briefly if the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland felt like he did. First had been the new Years ball, which he’d thought would be a normal night! A normal event he could go out and enjoy but no; when were things ever normal in Destiny City? Every time he thought something could be normal, enjoyable, he got reminded that it simply wasn’t possible. Not only had the ball gone bad but the kidnapping and with his allegiance all up in the air he’d had to find subtle ways to help some of those kidnapped. At the same time his sister, though not by blood, was in the hospital and without any idea what was wrong - how incompetent were the doctors here in this city?! he had wanted to go in there, on more than one occasion, and power up and demand answers - scare the doctors into figuring things out and fixing his sister! But alas, he knew it would not work nor help matters any; if anything it would make the situation worse - much worse. he did not need to add explaining the war and his position in it to his family to his list of issues.

It was for these reasons that the ashen blond was so cool and cold. he needed to keep himself together, to not let his weaknesses show, as things were so up in the air and so out of his control as they remained up there in some form of mass disarray which he could not fix and neaten. He just needed to wait till things fell back into place and righted themselves, then he’d be able to stop acting quite so much, he could relax. He knew Mica would find him, at some point, and talk to him but until then he could relax...once everything else was straightened out. He knew, deep down that this wouldn't be the last time he was in such a precarious position within the negaverse and that his days of being so relaxed in the organization, if you wished to call it such, were well and truly over - the insight into the future had seen to that. Pushing those thoughts aside, before they devoured him, something he wasn't keen on, he focused on the here and now - and the person here.

Unwavering eyes focused on the other who seemed to dislike his stare - too bad. Finally the other spoke about leaving, not that he cared where they had to be or if they were late or not, he didn't care that they had to go but felt his head nodding anyway. As he watched them leave, only taking a moment or two to watch, he grabbed his sketch book and went back to what he had been going to do before they made their arrival.

It was half an hour to 10 when Alexandre got up and headed for the art buildings and down into the basement rooms where he had his classes. He would be spending the next few hours moving about from class to class in the bowels of the art building as he worked and created.
