After reading through the Senshi Primer like she should have done ages ago, Sadachbia sighed heavily and leaned harder into the alley wall she had been standing against. She really should have sat down for all that reading, especially given all the stuff about space travel. She never expected to leave her country, let alone her planet, and yet flinging yourself into space to a world that you never knew was yours was a vital part of the senshi lifestyle. She would question just what she was getting herself into, but it was far too late for that now. Ever since diving headfirst into the trouble at the funhouse, she had more or less completely been shoved into the world of senshi, and it would be nigh impossible to turn back knowing what she knew. Suddenly, Sadachbia got the sense that someone was nearby, something she now knew was aura sensing. She got the sense that this someone was around the same strength as she was, and also an ally, so there wasn't likely to be much risk in an approach. "Hello? I know you're over here somewhere," she called out, looking in every direction for her mysterious interloper.

If you asked Kepler what the Primer was she would look at you like you were speaking some dead language. She'd been dealing with tests, her internship, trying to get an actual job at the museum. Balancing school work, home life, and senshi life was taking a tole on the usually organized girl. Mayhem ruled her life and honestly she didn't like it. Something had to give and it was probably going to be her sanity at some point in time. Right now all she wanted was a break. It seemed like every time she went on patrol she ran into the Negaverse side of the war and she just wanted to do nothing. Maybe meet up with another senshi, pick their brain on how they balanced life out when they were just starting. She'd been so wrapped up in her thoughts that she didn't really feel an energy approaching until it was too late and someone spoke. Blinking a bit, she looked down from the tree in which she was sitting in and then jumped down, landing in front of the other with a delicate air about her. "...Hi," she murmured out, brows knitting. This senshi felt like part of the Order, so Kepler didn't bother actually putting up much defense at all. "...I actually, uh... Didn't feel you or see you here." At least she had the decency to flush as she spoke.

"Huh, really? Got something on your mind?" Sadachbia thought that auras came through pretty clearly, so one had to be pretty preoccupied to not notice an aura coming close. "You ought to be more careful. What if there was a Negaverse guy coming around and you didn't feel him?" At that point she figured she shouldn't harp on it; the other senshi looked embarassed enough. "Anyway, hi, I'm Sadachbia. What's your name?" she asked, holding out her hand for a handshake.

"...Well sort of, but it's ...Nothing." She just gave the other a quiet smile before taking the offered hand. "Kepler. Sailor Kepler." She was chided about the Negaverse and she knew that, she honestly did, but Kepler's balancing was super not good right now and she was just trying to get a handle on it. "...I need to be more on guard, I know, but.." The Senshi of Words heaved a heavy sigh and let her lips purse. "Do you have a hard time balancing job, school, and patrolling...?" Assuming the other had a job. Not every senshi did.

"Hmm, okay," Sadachbia said, not pursuing what was on Kepler's mind. "Nice to meet you, Kepler." The question that followed was a curious one, and she had a flash of insight that she had lucked out in terms of how her civilian schedule meshed with her senshi one. "I haven't had any trouble yet. I go to school, do my homework, tell my mom I'm going around with some friends, and patrol. I guess I'm lucky. I can see how it'd be hard to get patrolling in, especially if you have a job." It made her wonder how old Kepler was, if she was in school and had a job, but of course it wasn't unheard of for people her age to have jobs.

She pushed her bangs out of her face as she listened to Sadachbia say she didn't have any problems and then clicked her tongue in thought. As far as Kepler knew, not a lot of the first level senshi had job, they tended to be younger than her, but she doubted she was the only one in her situation. Oh well, she'd figure out how to balance it all. Kepler always found a way. "Sorry, I know that was out of nowhere, but I'm trying to figure out... time balancing. It's not always easy." She gave a wan smile and just shrugged after that. "Anyway.. Do you enjoy patrolling? Enjoy senshi life?"

"I'd imagine so, especially if you were busy before the talking cat showed up. Were you awakened by a talking cat like I was?" Sadachbia's understanding was that the talking cats (Mauvians, Guardian Cats, whatever) were responsible for all awakenings, but it never hurt to check. The question that came next gave her some food for thought. Did she truly enjoy senshi life? "Hmm. I'd say I enjoy it. I mean, I got thrown into a really big thing early on, so my perception is kind of different... but even seeing what I saw then, I think I like it. I've been taking justice into my own hands since I was a kid, so it sort of comes naturally. The bullies just have magic now." Somewhere, she had the feeling she was missing something, but she wasn't quite sure what it was.

Kepler laughed a little bit and tapped her chin as Sadachbia questioned her. "I was awoken by a Mauvian, yes. His name was Snowball and he was with his Knight, Niflhel. I was awoken in the middle of a battle against a rat-like youma. At least I think it was a rat." She thought back, violet eyes drifting away before looking back at her when she talked about her early senshi life. "Oh, so this is just an upgrade from childhood!" She giggled into a hand before nodding. "Ah, well.. I think most of us got thrown into the thick of it really early on... At least from what I gathered. Still, there's a lot of us so it shouldn't be too hard to find a group of friends you'll patrol with or help on missions. ...Being a senshi is definitely a juggling job." Kepler's balance was off. She would get it right, but like every first stage senshi, it was a struggle.

"A Mauvian was a with a Knight? That's kind of weird. I thought they only worked with senshi." Sadachbia made a mental note to keep an eye out for this Snowball and ask what cats did for Knights (if Kepler didn't confirm anything next). She nodded when Kepler called senshi life an 'upgrade from childhood,' though she kind of wanted to protest, the other senshi was right. "Kind of, yeah. Did you get thrown into something big when you were first awakened? I dove headfirst into a rescue mission and one of the senshi who teamed up with me got knocked unconscious. If it weren't for me and the Page who was there, something really bad could have happened." She knew that, for some people, "something really bad" did happen; she was aware that the people who were captured were tortured, but not of what exactly was done to them (aside from the senshi that had been turned into a youma).

"They usually do? Maybe he was with him until his senshi got there? Sometimes Knights and Senshi work pretty close together from what I gather." She shrugged and smiled a little more before humming. Her hands dusted herself off a little bit and just listened. "Uhm. ...A battle is how I awoke. It was.. Not exactly fun, no. I wouldn't say it was big, but it.. Mn. I learned I was basically thrust into a war I didn't ask for and had no hopes of really getting away from it unless I abandoned other people.. It's not easy. But.." Kepler rubbed her neck a bit and tried to think of how to word this. "I feel like every senshi helps even just a little bit, every time they battle."

Kepler's description of the war seemed awfully grim to Sadachbia. She hadn't even thought about whether she had "asked" for the war; she had simply accepted Ash's explanation and let it slide into her life like it was supposed to be there the whole time. It hadn't even occurred to her that for others, it might not have been that simple. Kepler's conclusion brightened her up from all that grim thinking, however. "Yes, that's right. I think that, for every youma you dust or civilian you protect from the Negaverse, Destiny City becomes a bit safer. I mean, we have a lot of work to do before we can call this place completely safe, but every step helps."

Kepler's smile grew a bit wider as she nodded and fiddled with her skirt again. "Mm. I.. am actually sort of glad I can help. I'm really glad I can help, honestly. It's not pretty, war never is, but I can protect everyone and everything I care about." Unless someone she cared about was a Negaverse agent. Then it'd be weird and did that actually happen? Either way, the Senshi of Words shifted a tiny bit more. "Speaking of which... I should probably finish up my patrol. Lots to do before I call it a night. I hate having to just split like this..." Kepler's brows knit a little and she just hoped Sadachbia knew she was telling the truth.

"Yes, that's it exactly! It's all about protecting people." Sadachbia nodded patiently when Kepler mentioned her pending obligations. "Oh, don't worry, I get it. I should probably finish up too... I can only stay out so late before my mom figures out I'm not actually in my room, you know? Ah, wait, there's one thing before you go." She pulled out her senshi phone and cued up the camera. "Can I add you to my contacts? The cat who awakened me, Ash, said that you can add people to your contacts just by taking a picture of them."

"Oh, Ash! She awakened me too!" Kepler bounced on her heels a little as she pulled out her phone and then posed for a picture for the other to snap. Once it was, she did the same for Sadachbia and then laughed. "I don't have hardly anyone in this thing. I should probably actually start adding people more.." The senshi of words just fiddled with the phone a bit more before looking at the other. Mauvian technology was really amazing. At least she thinks it is Mauvian. It'd make sense. "So. See you around? Don't be a stranger at all."

"She's really something, isn't she?" Sadachbia nodded and double-checked to make sure the registration worked. Sure enough, Kepler was in her contacts. "Yes, hopefully. Maybe we can patrol together sometime? Two senshi are better than one. See you around." She waved Kepler goodbye and started heading back to her typical patrol paths.
