Well hello there my fellow fans! And anons. Hello to you too.
You know what's right around the corner? Valentine's Day!
Is there an event? Who knows! But I'm not letting that put a damper on my heart-day spirits! After cutting out a few (hundred) construction paper hearts (I've really got the technique down), renting a disco-ball and constructing a hastily-assembled play-list of love songs on my iPod, I'm totally ready to get to gettin' down on the dance floor this weekend.
I promise you, pizzas are on order (and I requested the cutest delivery specialists), the dance floor is freshly waxed so it is my privilege and honor to welcome each and every one of you to this Paper Hearts Valentines Day Dance Party!
Wow. That's a mouthful.
Let's just go with Paper Hearts.
So shimmy over here and get your name on my dance card before I eat too many of these sweet-tart hearts and find out if these wings actually work.

Sammy pushed against the door with her back and faced him as they entered, still holding onto his hand. "Oh come on, take a compliment. And no I didn't squeak you imagined that." Her smile was indomitable as she spun around and hugged onto his arm, eyes brightly scanning the atmosphere.OOC: Really? Heh, I think we're going to get along fine you and me. X3

X3 His head bowed slightly as he followed, though he seemed more amused than anything.
"My apologies, thank you."
His head lifted and he raised a brow at her.
"I highly doubt I have such a vivid imagination, but if you are sure."
As she hugged his arm, he looked down at her more fully. Brow no longer raised, his grin was more a slight smile.
"See anything of interest?"

The glare of the disco ball was no longer so intense, the reflective spots glimmering along the walls and floor as it rotated. Paper hearts decorated the space while music filled the room and its dance floor beckoned newcomers. "Wow, it's so festive." she remarked, looking over it all again. "Wonder what's the occasion..." It completely slipped her mind it was that time of year again. "See anything of interest?" Tobias asked, smiling down at her. "I'm not sure if we're technically crashing this but..." she smiled, eyes squeezed shut. "If we are, I'll take the blame." She blinked and looked up at him. "Care to pick up were we left off?" she asked, alluding to a dance.OOC: Once in a blue moon~ Or two.
I have to go to work in a couple minutes, but I'll be back this evening.

"It is. Can you think of no special day this might be for?"
Moving his hand back down, he shook his head.
"Somehow, I think it will not have to come to that. "
Now his grin was back, arm moving easily out of her grip to take her hand.
"Are you wanting to dance, Sammy my dear? I believe this is a place more suitable to straight out dancing rather than lessons. However, we can see what happens."
((Those blue moons seem to be more common than one might expect.

"A pleasure to see you, my doll. Heh, I should have guessed you might have something to do with this."
Raising a brow, he looked down at the heart now taped to his shirt.
"I believe we intend to, but permit me a moment. Why did you tape hearts to us?"

Sammy thought about that a moment. It was a Saturday...February...something...a number, about halfway through the month... "Hmmm..." Suddenly Minty appeared and pinned paper hearts to their clothes. "Oh, Minty! Good to see you again. I...huh?" She looked down at the little decoration. "You're playing Cupid today?" she echoed, and suddenly it all came tumbling together. Oh duh, it's Valentines' Day...how could I space out on that? Wait...does that mean...I was just hit with a... Her thoughts gasped. THE FORTUNE COOKIE. Well that wasted no time at all. She blushed a little, smiling but stifling a light giggle. Instead she said, "Thank you, Minty. It's lovely. Everything." As Tobias took her hand she gave it a light squeeze.OOC: Oh wow Gaia did poof up an event. Had me worried... Still, loving the thread, Minty.AHHHWHATDIDYOUDOFADING?? *hoards the poem in saved box forever*Well you know what they say, opposites attract~

Grinning, he nodded approvingly at the look.
"A fine outfit and you wear it well. Yes, I think it would be best to stick with tape over arrows."
He couldn't help a chuckle as realization of what occasion it was came to Sammy.
"It would appear we have been struck by Minty cupid. Think you could still dance, or are you too woozy from the, heh, tape?"
((So they did, too bad I need to get going.
Heh, seems I wrote a save worthy poem. I'll take that as you liked it.
True, but a few shared interests don't hurt. ))

Sammy put an inquisitive finger to her lip. "Aren't they the same thing?" she asked quietly, mostly to herself. She didn't remember a whole lot about ancient mythology, but Cupid was the original matchmaker as she recalled. Rolling her eyes up to meet Tobias' gaze, Sammy pouted her lips with an orly? expression. "I think I can manage. Sure you can keep up?" she jabbed back playfully.OOC: All right, I'll see you tomorrow if you're on. ^^
I did indeed. I think a certain someone liked it too...right Sammy? ...Sammy? ｡◕~◕｡ *sniffle* She liked it.
Well we got a few of those boxes checked. Looking forward to getting to know your character more in depth.
