Makani had a tent all his own, one that he spent only enough time in a day to get sleep and to change into clean clothing before he was off again. It was one of the perks that went along with being one of the first members of the troupe as well as the troupe mistress's brother. He got to get a place to sleep all his own, well, all his own save for Rae who was always by his side at least. She didn't count though, she was his best friend after all, had been since they were both little. It wasn't to say that he was completely against the idea of having someone come hang out with him, it was just notice to have his own space was all. Especially at the moment when the troupe seemed to be growing at the same time that they were working on the inn of Eira's dreams where they would be settling down.
Moving across his tent he was reaching out to pick up a new shirt when he heard a rumbling growl escape from Rae. It was a sound she only made when it came to those who weren't supposed to be nearby coming to close to him. As such he found himself freezing in place, "Rae? What is it girl?" He asked a moment before he heard something coming toward him. The energy was somewhat familiar, something he'd felt before, but from where? It took him a moment to realize it was akin to that of Halsten, the capramel that Gyuri owned. It wasn't Halsten though, it was different then that, so maybe just another one of them? Maybe it was lost? He took a step forward, reaching out to the creature, and he was able to shoo it off when he felt Rae's energy changing, feeling her getting more agitated, "Eh? Rae?" A moment later he felt the approach and invasion of a couple more capramel, then more after that. It wasn't long before the number of them was unknown to him as their energy seemed to just meld together into a bit of a mess.
"Are we being invaded by capramel?" He asked of his Raptrix who gave a growling sound in response, sounding as though she were displeased with this. Makani wouldn't have minded if he knew where they creatures were coming from, who they belonged to, and most importantly if they weren't all seemingly soaked. He supposed it made sense since it was raining outside, but that didn't mean that he wanted a herd of these things getting everything inside of his tent wet. Lifting a hand up he set to rubbing his temples before he said, "Alright, listen up capramel, I don't think that there is enough room in here for all of... oof... hey! No pushing!" He said as one of wet creatures bumped into him, sending him back a couple steps.
It was something that seemed to annoy Rae, no at all amused that a capramel would dare to touch her boy. Her teeth barred she set to growling in an even less friendly manner then before, a manner that finally seemed to catch the attention of the herding capramel. There was a moment where all of them seemed to go stock still, all of them turning at once toward where the raptrix was standing. There was a long, drawn out moment of silence before they suddenly seemed to panic, running around in rapid, milling circles, before they all at once tried to head for the entrance to the tent. While he couldn't see what was going on he was able to sense it, as well as hear it, and the panic the creatures were showing was only made worse when Rae went to barking and snapping at them. She was serious about getting them out it would appear, not wanting another of them to try to push Makani again!
As they lot of them went crashing out of his tent, knocking things over as they went, he could heard them causing just as much trouble outside. He couldn't say how many exactly had gotten into his tent but he had a feeling that there were even more of them, a whole lot more in fact, outside of his tent. He wondered if they were bother other people, invading other tents, and generally making a nuisance of themselves. Were it not for the fact that they were so damp and pushy he might have been fine with them hanging out until the rains ended. That was just him though, Rae on the other hand wasn't having any of it, was she? In fact he could hear her outside the tent, still barking, keeping the capramel from returning.
Giving a sigh and a shake of his head he turned, returning to what he'd been doing before they invaded, "Well now, that was... strange. Here's to hoping they leave Eira alone or she's liable to skin them." He muttered to himself as she resumed changing.
