Viridian Forest is a forest which lies between Viridian City and Pewter City in the middle of Route 2 with both the north and south entrances of Viridian Forest open to the route. The deep and sprawling forest is said to be a natural maze as many people get lost inside. The trees in the forest are so thick that little light gets in, and because of this the forest is full of Bug- and Flying-type Pokémon that attract Bug Catchers and other Trainers.

Heal Powder: Effect: Removes any and all status conditions, but the pokemon who consumes it loses 1 FP To Obtain: 15 Posts
Big Mushroom: Effect: These mushrooms are used to teach a single Pokemon one Egg Move. Notes: Moves can be from past generations of games but the guild refers to the latest games for the basic list. To Obtain: 30 posts
White Flute: Effect: Reduces count for wild Pokemon by half for one week of active posting, rounded down. To Obtain: 30 posts
Honey Tree: Place a Honey on a tree, and then you must wait 1 hour to come and check the honey tree. When the tree is ready, you must roll 1 10sided dice. Each pokemon will appear at Level 15
-3 rp posts are required, then generate a number between 1 and 15. This will determine the Pokemon that appears. In the next post, roll a 4-sided dice to determine level of the wild Pokemon.

Sable nodded at Ezra and Felix when they replied, chuckling a bit. Jin also chuckled, although something made him quiet down rather quickly and look around. If it weren't for the fact that he was currently disguised as a human, he'd have an ear twitching as he tried to look for something. Even without that, though, the expression he had would likely be enough to indicate that he had heard something that the rest of the group might not have.
Jin had just figured out where the sound he heard was coming from when a rather sharp rustle came from some leaves above the group. The dark-haired teen pulled Sable by the shoulder and move her off to the side to his trainer's annoyance."What's the bi- Ah!"the female trainer started to say, then let out a shout as a Kakuna on a thin string dropped down from a branch somewhere above the group, ending up right in front of where Sable had been standing just a moment ago. Of course, that shout made the teen start coughing a bit, although not sounding quite as bad as her earlier fits had. It still didn't sound all that pleasant, though.
The disguised Zorua let his trainer go through her cough as he got her canteen opened up for her, then let her take several sips while looking over the little Kakuna. It seemed like the poisonous bug was still fairly young, and a premature evolution as well. The most the poor thing could probably do was harden its body and try to drop down on unsuspecting victims. Still, it did provide a safe opponent for a couple of Sable's Pokemon, so she could train them without worrying about any real retaliation.
Once Sable had gotten her cough back under control, Jin gave her a smile."Well, the Kakuna seems like it wants to try to fight, so why not let Scoundrel have a go?"he suggested, receiving a nod from the teen as she handed him back the canteen. She then pulled a ball off her belt and let out the Pokemon inside, a Purrloin who looked around for a moment before having his eyes settle on the Kakuna hanging in front of him. Honestly, the way he was watching the cocoon Pokemon, it looked like he just wanted to bat at it with his paws.
The Kakuna dropped a bit lower down its string, and the Purrloin's tail twitched as he watched it. His ears were also twitching, waiting to hear something. Jin chuckled at the sight and turned to Sable."Looks like he's waiting for you to give the command to pounce,"he said with a chuckle, obviously finding the situation rather funny.
Sable nodded before speaking up, her voice sounding a touch rougher than it had previously."Don't worry too much about it hardening up. Just use Scratch,"she said, and as soon as the teen said the name of the attack, Scoundrel sprang into action and leapt at the cocoon, hitting it with a set of claws before landing. Unfortunately for the bug, the trainer was right and all it could do at the moment was harden up, so the next two passes were enough to drive it back up into the foliage.
"Nice job, Scoundrel,"Sable said as her Purrloin wandered back over to her, then carefully bent down and pet the purring feline. The only reason the teen had to be careful was because she still had her Snivy up on her shoulders, and it was looking like he was a bit annoyed that the cat got to show off."Don't worry, you'll get your chance soon enough,"she assured the grass type, which was enough to get him to stop glaring for the moment.
The red-haired female straightened up after giving the Purrloin one last stroke, then smiled a bit as she looked back at Ezra."If you couldn't tell by now, this guy here is Scoundrel. He's been pretty nice for the most part, but I wouldn't turn my back on him if I were you,"she introduced and warned, with the Purrloin giving a meow of greeting as he looked over at the blonde and his Pokemon.

Sable suddenly let out a Purrloin, and Ezra put one and one together. Using Scratch repeatedly, Scoundrel managed to defeat the yellow cacoon."I'm guessing Scoundrel's mischievous then?"His initial reaction should have been to look out for his bag, since it had everything in there he needed, but no. His hand flew to the locket and necklace hidden under his shirt. He doubted the Purrloin would be able to steal them, but it wouldn't be the first time."Anyway, good thing Kakuna generally tend to only know Harden....Too bad it's annoying.""Toge...."Ezra smiled over at Trinity as she agreed with him. She'd fought a few Kakuna before, so she knew how annoying it could be. Before Ezra could actually say anything to her, though, a second Kakuna dropped down on his head. Which hurt. He knelt and pressed his hands where the Kakuna hit him. Fortunately, there was no blood."Char!"Ezra stood and went over to stand behind Felix so he wasn't hit, too. Trinity flew over and looked at Ezra in concern, but he shook his head. It wasn't a lingering pain.

Hardly even hurt."Patting the Charmander's head softly, Ezra noticed his tail flame burst. Looked like he had just gotten a bit stronger again.

Sable nodded a bit at Ezra's question, chuckling."Considering his way of getting us to battle him was to knock me over and steal my goggles before leading us on a chase, yeah, I'd say so,"she replied, then winced as a second Kakuna dropped down from the sky, this one hitting Ezra on the head. Jin also winced a bit, but he couldn't keep from smirking due to it looking a bit amusing. Granted, he wouldn't find it so funny if he were the one with the headache, but it didn't look like it did any real damage to the teen.
After Ezra's Charmander made quick work of the yellow cocoon Pokemon, Jin looked around before turning to the two trainers."Maybe we should move somewhere else. If there's this many Kakuna around here, there might be some Beedrill too. I'd rather not have us fleeing from a swarm of wild ones,"he suggested, then started walking down the path a ways. Of course, he paused a moment to make sure if the others were following him at first, since it wouldn't do to just ditch the two.
Sable nodded at Jin's suggested and followed after him as he led the group to a bit more of an open area. Well, open might not have been the best word, but there weren't quite as many trees crowding around the path."This should hopefully be a safer place for us to start training. Well, you guys, at least."The black-haired male laughed a bit as he once again had to exclude himself from the group he referred to, although the laugh sounded a little sad as it trailed off.
As Sable started looking around in the less dense portion of the forest that Jin had led the group to, some young kid - barely a teenager - came over to the group of older teens while holding his net over his shoulder."Hey! This is my spot! Go get your own!"he complained up at the teens, trying to look intimidating despite the fact that he was quite a bit shorter than the people he was complaining at. Sable gave the boy an annoyed stare in return, then looked around before looking back at the kid with the net.
"That's funny. How about showing a deed or something to prove it?"As she spoke, the teen tilted her head, as if waiting for the kid to actually produce evidence that the boy really owned the location. The boy with the net made an odd sound and faltered before growling a bit at the female teenager."T-that's not important! I was here first, and I say you guys need to take your Pokemon and get out!"
Sable was starting to get a bit annoyed with the kid at this point, but she did an okay job of concealing it. The redhead sighed, then started talkking again."How about a bet, then. One battle, you and me. I win, you leave us alone. You win, we leave without any more of a fuss. Deal?"It probably would seem a bit odd that the teen would jump so quickly to a battle as the way to settle the disagreement, for for Sable, it was just how things worked from what she had seen while growing up. Best to just cut out the Tauros dung and get to the point.
The boy chuckled, thinking he had an easy victory. After all, he could easily see the girl had a grass type and a dark type, and that made him certain he had a good advantage."You're on! I'll drive you and your pals off with my bug Pokemon! Let's go, Caterpie!"As the boy threw a Pokeball out, it popped open and revealed that he did, indeed, have a Caterpie that he planned on using. The boy was still chuckling a bit, but it faded when he saw that the female trainer was not impressed at all.
Sable already knew what to expect out of the bug, so she figured it'd be better to start off easy."I might as well start off with Scoundrel, here. Kick things off with Scratch,"she said, to which her Purrloin leapt at the Caterpie and hit it with the claws on its paw. It did some good damage for a first strike, which bothered the boy."Slow it down with String Shot, then strike back with Tackle!"
As several strands of sticky silk were spat out by the Caterpie, Sable quickly gave her next command."Assist!"she called out, figuring the gamble was worth the risk given what her Purrloin's ability was. As the Caterpie tried to ram the Purrloin, Scoundrel held up a paw and snickered as the small bug ran right into a heart-shaped block of energy that was produced by a white light that formed on the feline's paw. The bug type never stood a chance, and ended up getting knocked out rather easily.
As the bug boy let out a shout of surprise and annoyance at his Caterpie running headfirst into the attack, Sable chuckled and recalled Scoundrel to his ball."Good job, Scoundrel. Take some time to rest and get some of that thread off of you,"she said as the Purrloin was sucked into the ball, then clipped that ball back onto her belt and grabbed the one containing her Eevee."Let's see how you fight next."As she spoke, the teen tossed the ball out in front of her and let out the tan and creame bundle of fluff contained within.
The bug catcher groaned a bit as he recalled his fallen Caterpie, then pulled another ball off his belt."That was a lucky shot and you know it! Let's see how well you do against my Weedle!"the boy called out as he sent out the orange bug, but before the Pokemon could even try to attack, Sable's Eevee bounded up to it and jumped before smacking it with a glowing tail. Sable wondered for a moment where the attack had come from, then remembered that the bundle of fluff had gotten a hold of someone's Heart Scale back in Accumula's Pokemon center."Next time, wait for me to actually give a command. Okay?"the teen said, earning a yip and a wag of the tail as the Eevee padded back over to her.
The boy was starting to get a bit annoyed now, and recalled his Weedle while glaring a bit."Alright, no more having fun knocking around little guys. We'll see how well your physical attacks stack up against my Metapod!"The boy sent out the green cocoon Pokemon as he spoke, now feeling a bit cocky again. Sable just frowned, although that quickly disappeared when her Snivy jumped off her shoulder to stand and fight."Alright, alright. You can go next, little guy. You shouldn't need to do anything but tackle that cocoon a few times,"she said, and as the teen had said, that was all that needed to be done to get past the Metapod's defenses. The same went for the Kakuna the boy sent out afterwards, as neither of the cocoon Pokemon had any damaging moves due to evolving prematurely.
The boy with the bug types was now really starting to get annoyed as he recalled his fallen Kakuna."Looks like we're done playing around. Let's see how you handle my Butterfree!"As the butterfly Pokemon was sent out, Sable couldn't help but laugh. Not from what she was facing, but because she knew a tiny little problem the bug was going to have."I'm guessing you caught it as is. As in, you didn't take the time to raise it up from a Caterpie? Because if that's the case, you're going to have a real problem against Scoundrel."The teen unclipped the Purrloin's Pokeball as she spoke, then sent out the Pokemon to reveal that he had gotten the sticky strands of thread off of him during his time in the ball.
The battle that followed was short and embarrassing, as the Butterfree's Confusion attacks did absolutely nothing to the Purrloin. It was easier practice than the Kakuna earlier had been. The bug catcher made a sound of displeasure as he recalled the bug, then grabbed the last ball on his belt."You beat my others, but now you get to go up against my real heavy hitter! Go, Beedrill!" he said, revealing the large bee Pokemon. Scoundrel let out a rather loud hiss and arched his back as his tail whipped back and forth, his last experience with a Beedrill having been rather bad and embarrassing for him.
Sable didn't need to understand the speech of Pokemon to know her Purrloin was loathing the bug Pokemon before it. "Scoundrel. Let's have someone else finish this,"the teen said as she recalled the dark type yet again, not wanting to risk the battle getting out of hand. In contrast to the Purrloin, Sable was not bothered at all by the idea of facing a Beedrill. It wasn't the same one that had tried to attack her, and she had no reason to treat it as the same one. Although, it was more likely the embarrassing turn that the battle took that got Scoundrel riled up more than anything else.
Looking down at the two Pokemon at her feet, Sable thought for a moment before pointing at the Eevee."Let's see how good that Iron Tail of yours really is, alright?"she suggested, earning a nod from the bundle of fluff before it jumped, flipped once, and hit the Beedrill with its glowing tail. The boy grimaced and pointed at the Eevee."Fight back with Fury Attack!"he called out, with the Beedrill jabbing at the small Pokemon repeatedly with its stingers. They did a hefty amount of damage, but the Eevee was able to stand strong through the attacks.
Seeing that their opponent was about to drop, the teen decided to end things then and there."Another Iron Tail!"she called out, and the normal type complied as he struck the Beedrill again. This attack was enough to drop the bug, ending the battle rather handily."N-no way... How'd we lose to someone like you?"he asked, more out of disbelief than anything else. Sable simply sighed as she looked the kid over."Simple. You did a bad job gauging someone's level of skill,"she replied, then looked around a bit. She was going to say something to Jin, but she noticed that the disguised Zorua was not anywhere around where she was."...Jin? Bah, not this again,"she said, more to herself than anything else, as she looked around for where the black-haired teen had wandered off to during the battle, not really caring that much as the bug catcher that had battled her went off to get his Pokemon healed up.

Shaking his head, he followed Sable and Jin further into the forest, keeping his arms over his head until they were in an area with no leaves above them.So, if Jin's not a trainer, why does he have a PokéBall? Huh....Ezra took a step back when a kid ran up to them and then got into an argument with Sable, who eentually challenged the kid to a battle. Well, whatever worked. And, got this kid away from them. It looked like Felix was ready to burn him alive. He picked the Charmander up so they could watched the battle. Caterpie, Weedle, Metapod, Butterfree, and Beedrill. He wasn't that prepared for a battle against Sable. It was...kind of sad. The kid ran off to go to the nearest Pokémon Center and Ezra set Felix down again."Nice work. You have an impressive team. I didn't knkw Eevee could learn Iron Tail."Ezra looked around and noticed Jin was gone. He blinked."Um....Does he wander off a lot?"
