Above Destiny City the stars occasionally blinked and twinkled on the city, all but drowning in light pollution from active lights and a thriving city, and they seemed, to most, a distant dream. To others a night you could even see one star might a sign of positive things, and with the moon in the sky an enemy, Coffinite didn't reject the symbolism of anything, instead shuffling a deck of tarot cards idly as he looked skyward. There were plenty of civilians below, many ready to become prey to youma or Negaverse agents, however currently he really wasn't interested in risking sight. No, he worked best in pure darkness with his extra limbs, so he sat atop a building, out of sight, ignoring the risk of being sensed by order as he shuffled his cards and relaxed in the light of the night, eyes half closed in an idle, relaxed position, and he yawned, sharp teeth glinting in the light as he lazily studied a random card drawn from the deck with no real intent at all, murring comfortably. "Mmmm."

Albireo was really not one to power up much anymore. Truly with the thoughts plaguing her…purifying going back to the side that she had left…but that would mean leaving Merric…though.
She really wondered how much of her love for him was really love…and how much was just dependence from corrupting in the first place. She had been alone, but…she had loved Jarosite, or at least had been fascinated with him. It was all stupid. Nothing made sense anymore…not after the dreams…not that things had really made sense before them either…but still. They had made more sense.
There was the feeling of something with the same aura of chaos that she had and she drifted towards it, pausing when the person…er…creature came into view.
She had thought that it was a lieutenant, or maybe even a first stage corrupted…but no. The person in question…had too many arms for that…
“Uh…Hello there.” Maybe it was a youma…like Bazzite. But…she wasn’t sure. He didn’t have that same…youma feeling like Bazzite did…so, honestly she was quite confused. “How are you this evening…? It’s a pretty nice night…a little chilly…but nice.”
Just because she was confused, didn’t mean she wasn’t going to be nice.

He didn't know what was coming until he saw a senshi and that made him bink. Black fuku - odd. Was she one of theirs? She felt chaotic, or so the youma half insisted, and after a moment Coffinite stretchedm offering her to join him politely. "I'm well, and you?" He drawled. "You seem unusual - nooffense. I siply thought senshi wor... White."

“Oh.” She shrugged and took a seat next to Coffinite. “Well, I suppose I used to wear white…but that was quite a long time ago. I’m corrupted…a part of the Negaverse…just as you are…then again, I’ve never seen anyone quite like you either, so I suppose we’re just a pair of odd ones.”
Albireo twirled a piece of her hair around her finger and sighed. “So…what are you doing out tonight? Looking for some people to snack on? The last youma I met told me he enjoyed snacking on people. I’ve never eaten someone, but I can’t really imagine they’d taste very good.”
Not like other food that would taste a whole lot better, or so she figured. Anything would taste much better…people would taste…not very good. Ah well. Whatever.

Coffiite blinked, looking over. "A youma?" He paused. "I'm what I am but for a pact with one. Combined our power I suppose you can say." He shuffled his deck, listening to her speak quietly. "Relaxing really. Enjoying the sky. Quite a good number of omens for tarot tonight, at least if I read my own cards." He chuckled, before blinking a moment, and raised his bros. "Eat... People?" He paused. "No, I've never done that. I'm not particuarly interested in human flesh. I imagine it wouldn't be good."

A pact with a youma? That sounded…strange. To say the least…but. Whatever. She could deal. It wasn’t like she hadn’t seen worse things in this city. The thing that did cause her to give a skeptical look, however was the mention of the tarot cards…it wasn’t that she didn’t believe in things like fortune telling…and that kind of stuff…no, it was simply that she didn’t believe in it. People made their own fate, chose their own destiny. Even if sometimes they chose wrong. Like she did.
“I can’t imagine it would taste very good either, but like I said…the last…youma person I had a conversation with seemed pretty interested in it. But maybe that was because he was a lot more youma than you are? I mean…you still look…pretty human-ish…save for the extra eyes and arms. He was all…giant but looking…with really adorable eyebrows, however.”
She sighed, fiddling with one of her ribbons now. Socializing was so difficult.

Coffinite offered a smile again, putting his deck away to focus on the conversation fully, completely relaxed. "Ah, well, I suppose some may do that - the youma at any rate. Not I - though sometimes scents may set thatside to hungering a bit more than note, I myself do not find it an idea I cherish." He rubbed the back of his head some awkwardly. "Buy to be fair, I haven't been on field duty terribly long and I do so prefer to not risk being sighted. Something about six arms troubling people." He gave a bemused look, as if aware people might be alarmed usually and he looked entirely used to it. "But what about you? What brings you out and to my neck of the wood?"

“If I had six arms…I think I’d be out there scaring the s**t out of people, if you want the truth from me…” She gave a little grin and poked one of his many hands now, finally looking him over. “I actually think you look pretty awesome like that. Can you see out of all of your eyes…?” Albireo wanted to touch one…and she wanted to see how it felt to be held by the arms.
It would feel pretty nice, she figured.
With a sigh she blinked. “Oh. Me. I’m just…out for once. I don’t really ever come out anymore…But you know. I don’t want the negaverse to forget I exist. Not like they know I’m here anyway…so what does it really matter? I come over to this side…and my life gets ******** up…but hey. That’s the way of the world, isn’t it.”
There was no mistaking the bitterness in her voice.

"Could but karma would bite me. I'd rather bide my time." Coffinite chuckled darkly, but not without amusement, finally smiling and offering his arms for inspection. "Not partiularly well, mostly movement. My human eyes work better." He admitted. "But I suppose it's keeping up that's the problem." He tilted his head at mentioning not seeing others often. "I run into the others now and then but not often. I suppose unless I'm needed I don't seek many out." He paused. "Changed sides...? I suppose that's sensible. I was brought to the Negaverse by- a friend." A very dead one now - his night of corruption had not come without blood, but Coffinite didn't think on it much.... Oddly, he didn't want to.

She took the offered arm and felt it all over, tickling the fingers of it. Maybe it was just something fake? Maybe they were just for show…? His eyes didn’t work, or so he said. Oh well. He looked really cool.
“I just avoid people, I think. I really do. And I did change sides…I came over to the Negaverse because I thought it was the better choice…I was wrong though. I found no peace after coming to this side…honestly, I’m not sure I made the right choice at all. In fact, I think this was one of the worst choices I’ve ever made.”
Albireo sighed, and then stiffened. She shouldn’t have said that. How stupid was she? He was part youma…he was clearly pretty deeply…involved with the Negaverse…it was fully a part of him…this was going to get her in so much trouble.

Coffinite blinked, wiggling the fingers in amusement in response, grinning a toothy grin before it faded. "I've always been here, at least for several months." He moved the arm for her to inspect, blinking slowly. "But I've never seen much of the other sde beyond a mission and a fight. What are they? I'm toold aliens but they appear human. Ah, no offense." Coffinite blinked, head tilting.

“They are just people. Just like me. I was a person. Just a normal person…I guess. And then I was a senshi, and everything got…turned upside down…and then I corrupted and whoever I was…as a person…or had been as a person…My name had been…Odette. My…someone close to me now was close to her…and I feel so…”
She sighed, looking back down at her hands, letting his hand go finally. “I just feel so empty now. I keep getting compared to Odette, and I’m not her. Not anymore. And it’s my own damn fault. If I had just…”
Albireo shrugged. “Nevermind. I just met you, and this is crazy of me just talking about this crap. I’m sorry.”
A sudden thought came to her and she blinked. “Oh god. Do you realize I’ve gone and told you all of this? I’m Albireo, Senshi of swans. Corrupted senshi now, but still…Senshi of swans. It’s nice to meet you.”

Coffinite got up, and bowed much in a manner of one bowing to a princess, ooking up finally.
"Lieutenant Coffinite." He said, then hesitated.
"I got.... Brought to a General-Queen by a friend, for research, really. He was killed for not bringing more."
Not something he often reported, but if Albireo was telling him things...
"I was named Nathan Adello, but I've been legally missing since last year from Seattle. You made a choice. Mine was life or death. Still, if we had not made our choices, we may not have met... And perhaps it was fate we did." He smiled, taking and politely kissed a hand.
"Gods work in mysterious ways, after all."

Albireo flushed a little when he kissed her hand, it sent a shiver up her spine and just…was so nice. He was really nice. And…kind of romantic.
The senshi coughed. “Fate, hm? You know, honestly I don’t…I’ve never believed in fate…or rather…I’ve always felt that we choose our own fate…not the other way around…but you know, if you say that it was fate that brought us together…to hell with it. I’ll agree with you, Coffinite. Or rather…Nathan. Just because you’re Coffinite now…don’t ever stop being who you were. You can’t. It’s not fair to you. Okay? You remember who you were…so you’re one up on me, Nathan. Lucky guy.”
Oh lord, her heart was pounding so badly right now.

Coffinite grinned, then paused, chuckling some.
"Who I was? Albireo, I am who I am now and there's nothing changing it, I think."
He did smile though. "If there was, it might've been found so it can be removed or similar. I didn't exactly begin roaming as I do now. I was a specimen first."
He paused.
"But you can call me Nate or Nathan, since you know."
