It is always nice to receive letters, even better if they are letters of admiration! So we're having a little love letter writing contest! Who you're writing to? Of course, one of the Raevans or Guardians of your choosing!

[.01] Use the form below to submit your love letter! [.02] You can write to any of the Raevans or Guardians. (that are approved and have certs, whether it is a Raevan or still in bottle stage) [.03] Post your love letter in this thread. [.04] Everything goes! You can write as your original character, even if they are not in the Labverse. You can write as your Raevan or Guardian character, you can also write as yourself! (to a fictional character, a little creepy I know, but it might be fun and honest!) [.05] Really, everything goes. Write a cheesy poem, creepy stalker letters ala ransom notes, handwritten letters, use your creativity! [.06] You can submit up to 3 letters for 3 different characters! [.07] There will be 3 winners at the end of the day, and winners can choose which Chimera they want as their prize!

Dear Bottle Of Mine,
It took awhile to get you going, and at first I was definitely throw off by the idea of capturing a soul for your creation, but I am 100% looking forward to meeting you soon. Not sure exactly when that is, but know that I will be here for you whenever you need me, to guide you in learning about what's going on in the world around you, and to protect you. It'll take some getting used to, I'm sure, but that's my promise to you.
In the meantime, I've been thinking about names for you (are you going to be a girl? Or a boy? Who knows, but I have names for both!) and brainstorming all the things we should do when you're here. There's so many things to see and do in this world, heck I haven't even experienced it all, but we'll be there for each other on this journey. :) Getting to see the world through your eyes is going to be an experience of its own, I'm sure. I keep hearing how having a child can be revolutionary, and while you aren't mine by any biological means, the relationship we will have will be nothing short of it, I'm sure.
Well, I don't want to babble on too long, I already feel sappy enough as is. You probably won't even be able to read, now that I think of it! I'm gonna have to teach you that too, won't I? Ohhh, this is definitely going to be fun. Hope whatever is happening over there at the Lab is...going well? I'm sure it is or I would have heard otherwise.

Dear Yves,
Chin up, dear. I know you have been struggling. A little bird has hinted to me of your struggles and, while I may not understand it all, I know you are doing what you feel is best. You may feel alone in this endeavor, but you will always have friends and family there for you.
Take some time to yourself, let your chair feel your weight. Buy a new book, completely at random. Spoil yourself with a chocolate cake, share it with a friend. Whatever you do, do not try so hard to succeed at it that you forget the reason you ever started.
Oh, I could prattle on all day with this philosophical rhetoric, but it all boils down to this, young man: you are strong, and able-bodied, and smart. You know better than to cave in the face of the unknown. Always take time for yourself, but remember to get right back up and back at it.
I will end this with one of my favorite quotes:
Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.

A chuckle escaped his lips and he couldn't suppress the smile. He could picture her, now, sitting at her desk as she wrote the letter with shaking hands. She, too, would be laughing.

What a simple-sounding statement that is! But how terribly deeply I mean for you to feel it.
On this day, I would have you feel loved, and safe. I would have you wrapped in whosoever's arms you would choose, so long as they were gentle and cradled you as you wanted. On this day, I would have you feel you are so beautiful as I do see you, you loveliest of women. May this day give you smiles when you want them, shivers of the best kind, warmth that envelopes you.
