 Night Cover and her familiar Light Snow treaded through the midst of the mountain Maze. Light Snow providing some shelter to the young cub from the blowing snow around them. Night squinted a little to see if she could see her companions, who she would grow up with. Red Stalker was the brave one of the three of them, Minor Setback was the explorer of the bunch and she was the hunter of the three.The world around her was brand new and she was a little unsure of it, but as the hunter you are never entitled to be afraid or unsure about anything. She blew out a breath, but of course those aspects of her being needed to be developed and she knew she would over time, but right now her main focus was to stay warm and figure out where they were going.

Red Stalker lifted his head as the sound of large feet trudging through snow reached his ears. They pricked and he turned towards the sound, The reddish brown fur along the crest of his head and his ears flecked with bits of snow. He was mildly cold due to a strong wind blowing from the north, but his thick fur helped to keep him from getting too cold. The steps grew closer and his fellow Awakened cub appeared with her floofalo. "Night," he called, taking a few steps toward the female cub. "Where's Minor?" Minor Setback was the third of their little group, all Awakened at the same time only a few days prior. That was at the base of the mountains and the trio decided their best bet was to get to higher ground and see if they could find a sheltered place to stay for a bit. They hadn't gotten too far yet. Red had pushed forward in front of the others, but he was cautious about losing them. After all, they were all each other had in this big, white world.

Night Cover shook her head and looked at Red "I don't know, I haven't seen Minor at all" she told him as she shook out her fur from all the snow. She blinked and looked down at her prints, as the fresh snow covered them up. "I thought he was with you, Light Snow hasn't seen him either" she told him. As she looked around the environment, Red made a valid point though, they could lose each other in this snow fall. At the same time she was a little worried they would get lost on their journey higher into the mountains.

Red frowned as Night came closer to him, her Floofalo trudging up the side of the mountain with her. It worried him that Minor was missing from their party, but with the snow swirling around them thicker by the second they could hardly pause to wait for him. He did pause as Night sidled up beside him, gazing back down the way they had come. He willed Minor to appear, but there was no sight of the cub. Finally, he shook his head and sent a flurry of snowflakes flying out around him. "Snow's coming down faster. We can't really wait for him, not without finding some cover." He let out a heavy sigh and swiveled his head to look at Night. A shiver ran down his spine as a gust of cold wind pushed at him. "We need to find shelter and quick. I think this is gonna turn into a storm."
With his head bowed against the wind, Red continued up the mountain side. A large boulder jutted out above them not far ahead, creating a deep alcove protected from the wind by cold grey rock on one side. It was not much, but it would serve as shelter for now. At least the wind would be broken.

Night frowned a bit too at the idea, "I'm sure, once the snow subsides we will have a better chance of finding him I guess" she told him thinking about it. She looked around at the swirling snow around them "I agree with you there, it does look like its turning into a snow storm or a blizzard" she told him.
Light Snow brought up the rear, behind the two young cubs. Making sure that they stayed close together, as the snow fell on her fur covering up her blue markings, the problem with that was she would blend in with the snow, so she shook off the snow to keep her light blue markings visible so the two knew where she was.
