xcrimsonlegendx Just getting this started! WHOOPSE! I didn't mean to miss this! Anyone else you want in on this, Crimmy? These two have been the main ones I've been talking to. I think our main focus is going to need to be fundraising, and we can do repeats of most of last year's work. Maybe a different contest idea? I was thinking we would do March 8-14 so we can correspond with Pie's item release. I would like a new thread layout if possible.

H'okay, so.
I am putting the majority of my 25 copies on the table as potential grand prizes for whatever giveaways or contests or auctions or raffles we'd wanna run during the week.
Not all of them, I do want to use some for the funding of future LabTech-themed recolors -- we're going to need all the resources we can muster if we're going to go up against the Checkmate army. And I want to make sure at least the three of you each get a copy. (Maybe hang onto some others for some big-namers who aren't here now, but may come back, we hope.)
But I'd like to give out... say, at least 10 during the festivities?

Basically recycle the content of the old thread but make it look new again. <3 More or less my thoughts. Make a few contest tweaks so we have new and interesting contests to try out. I can also contact our volunteers from last round and see if they would still like to help. I need to look into getting us featured in the Gaia Blog like last year. I will PM Zero Omega and see if we can put something together. Pie's 10 prizes will definitely help us out a lot, and can act as grand prizes for our big contests, but we will still need prizes for runner ups. So we need to pump out a fundraising thread, stat, and maybe put up a "volunteers" thread in the GCP so we can get people excited ahead of time. YAY! I'M GLAD YOU ARE HELPING! That is incredibly generous of you! Future Lab tech recolors would be aaaaamaaaaazzzziiiiiiing!

Let's not create contests for the sake of creating contests. But LabTech Week is one of the big reasons why I wanted to make this item in the first place. So I would like to spare no expense! ... and as we also discussed in the chat, I would totally be in favor of a Project LabTech Fundraising Auction or Raffle as part of the festivities, if you feel one or both would be appropriate. Yeata Zi If the X friend pulls through, it would be cool to write up mini event dialogue for LabTechX If you want to! I mean... if I wrote it, you probably know how it'd turn out. razz Just for the sake of quoting everybody. biggrin
