Below the heart of the Adjunchas district of the Barracks sits a boiler room that was designed to heat the cold passages deep within the ground, since the room has to heat both districts it's incredibly hot. When Reizei discovered this design flaw he turned it into a benefit for his complex, by installing the prison in the same chamber to force discomfort and suffering. Through this design, Reizei has been able to minimize torture, while still maximizing information gathered by those allowed to live in captivity by lord Sestran. The only design flaw, is that most cannot survive more than a couple days, due to severe burns from the hot metal chains and bedding provided, as well as dehydration. For those who have to be held for a long amount of time, they stay in the palace with Reizei while their weapons are held down in the prison by his Warden, a very strong Adjunchas whose near his transformation.
