Aiolos was out on his own today, on a walk, heading toward the ocean because he could recall fun times there with his parents. How he missed them, how he wished they were still here with him. It was a sad though, one that caused him to give a soft sigh as he went, trying to shove that thought aside. They weren't here any longer and he knew who was to blame, the Mara, he also knew that it was up to him to get strong enough to go after them. The problem being that it was easier said then done when one didn't have a family or someone to back them up. He had to prepare himself on his own, had to be able to pay his own way since he'd left the orphanage, feeling as though he were just a burden on them. There were a lot of kids in need of care, kids younger then Aiolos, who had been through just as much as he had.
The Orderite boy came to a pause as he reached the beach he was seeking, starring out across the choppy water. It was still a bit on the cool side, meaning no swimming, not that it was a good time for him to do so. He might still walk along the beach, see if any sort of sea life had gotten itself trapped in one of the tide pools. He'd searched in those before with his parents, knew that there was a lot that got trapped in them that tasted rather good. Free food was the best sort of food for someone like Aiolos.
Looking back and forth down the beach he found himself debating which was it was that he wanted to search first when a strange sound reached him, a sort of whistling sound caused by the wind. The boy moved toward the sound, a sound that got louder and louder, until he found what was making the sound, "Ahh... a cave?" He murmured, squatting down so that he could look inside, his wings giving a little flutter as he did so. Did he dare go in? Maybe... there could be treasure he thought to himself, chewing on his lower lip thoughtfully. Best that he went inside, searched it, and saw if there was anything of worth inside. He needed anything and everything that he could get his hands on that would help him reach his goal. This wasn't something he could walk away from.
If you wish to continue inside the tunnel, also give a reason why and go to Entering.

Hidden Treasure Prompt As you squeeze into the dark tunnel, you can see a little in front of you. There are small animal tracks in the dirt beneath you. Wiggling your way slowly through the tunnel, you come upon a side tunnel. Both trails have animal tracks, though the path forward seems more traveled. Will you continue forward or turn and go down the side tunnel? Or have you had enough and want to crawl backwards and leave? Once again, please respond to this prompt, what are your character's thoughts and feelings as they travel through this dark cramped tunnel.Aiolos closed his wings against his back, allowing them to shift from their natural form to their tattoo form before he set to work wiggling his way into the tunnel. Upon first ending into the tunnel he found that it was a bit cramped, there were signs of animals wandering in here as well, and it was dark up ahead. There was that part of him that was a little scared to go forward, certain that he might very well run into something scary. After a few body lengths of crawling he found himself consider giving up... but didn't allow it. He had to keep going, just in case there was something interesting to be had in the tunnel. He'd go in just a little bit further, figure out if this was just some sort of animal nest, then he could retreat. He decided this a moment before he found himself at a cross roads of sorts. There was one tunnel that went forward, another that seemed to go off to one side, leaving him with the decision to make. Which way did he want to go? After looking from side to side, in a heavy debate with himself, he finally decided that he'd continue onward in the direction that he was already going. Getting into the side tunnel might involve a lot of careful maneuvering which would be more difficult. Maybe he'd check it on the way back from exploring the more straight forward path. Hidden Treasure Prompt If you A) go forward, Go to "A: Forward,"B) go down the side tunnel, Go to "B: Side Tunnel"

Hidden Treasure Prompt Deciding to ignore the side tunnel, you continue on-wards. It seems a long time passes as you crawl forward, hands and knees hurting from the rocky ground and back cramping. Suddenly the dim air lightens; a gleam appears in front of you. As you crawl towards the light..... Please roll a d100! A) 1-10:: you tumble off the cliff edge. The fall will not kill you, but it will hurt! Go to "A1: Fall!". B) 11-100:: you notice the floor suddenly dropping away and stop in time to not fall. Go to "A2:: Aware of Surroundings"

Hidden Treasure Prompt While you are engaged in following the light, as you crawl you can feel the ground start to slope. Taking your eyes off the light, you see that in front of you the ground abruptly falls away! Good thing you were paying attention! As you crawl to the edge and look you see a small cavern light up from a hole in the ceiling. Tree roots have forced their way into this cave and opened up a path for light and water. A small pond has formed beneath the opening. In the middle of it you see a tiny island. It is covered in junk; apparently a small creature has been stock piling stolen goods in this cave. Perhaps the sparkle that led you here was that same creature coming to drop off more shiny items. Some rags, broken bottles and broken jewelry appear to make up the majority of the pile. But amidst the pile you can spot something sparkling in the light, it looks different from the rest of it. You can see a tunnel leading into the cavern across from you. Aiols was questioning his choices when the path he decided to follow lead to a rather steep drop off, one he'd of likely fallen off of if he hadn't been paying close enough attention. Instead he found himself safe from that fall, wiggling his way out of the tunnel and onto a narrow little ledge. It wasn't much but it was at least enough to perch on which he got a feel for the big cavern that he found himself into. "Wow." He murmured, looking around from side to side, then up, taking in the sunlight that was coming inside as well as the twisted mass of roots that were within the cavern as well, likely belonging to the trees that were growing outside the tunnel. This was quite an interesting place he thought to himself before his attention was caught by something sparkling. Sparkling? That could be anything but Aiolos hoped that it was some sort of treasure, maybe gold or jewels, that he could trade for... well, any number of things that he instantly had coming to mind. He would need to get down there first, to dig around and claim said shiny things for himself. What do you do? A) Fly down? Go to "Cavern Room"B) Climb down? Roll a d100, » 1-50: you make it down successfully, Go to "Cavern Room" » 51-100: you slip and fall, but still make it into the cavern. Go to "Cavern Room" C) Go back and try the side tunnel? Go to "Side Tunnel" D) Leave the tunnels and cavern? Go to "Quit"

Hidden Treasure Prompt Looking around at your surroundings you see a small cavern light up from a hole in the ceiling. Tree roots have forced their way into this cave and opened up a path for light and water. A small pond has formed beneath the opening. In the middle of it you see a tiny island. It is covered in junk. Some rags, broken bottles and broken jewelry. Also amid the pile you can spot something sparkling in the light. The only openings that you can leave or enter this room from are from a tunnel that comes out half way up the wall or a tunnel that leads off into the dark again. Summoning forth his wings he shifted from foot to foot on the ledge, building up his courage, before he jumped. His little white wings set to fluttering like mad, unable to really fly or hover, but it was at least enough to slow him down so that he didn't land in such a manner that he would hurt himself. He made it, if barely, before his wings gave out. They were still small, not able to do everything he wished that they could do, but at least he was able to get down safely. Now, to go and see what it was that was sparkling! What do you do? What are your character's thoughts? Do you: A) Approach the pond and its pile? Go to "Loot"B) Leave? Go to "Leaving B" if you wish go out the tunnel halfway up the cavern wall or "Leaving A" if you wish to go out the tunnel in the wall.

Hidden Treasure Prompt Approaching the pile, you wade through the cold pond waters. It is not deep and you can see small fish swim away from your noisy intrusion. As you reach the pile, you can see it is mostly rocks and trash gathered by some small creature, but amidst the trash you find an Ayrala and Peisio Dragon Orb! (one for each participant) As he approached the piled with single minded determination, not even minding the bit of water he had to go through, Aiolos's eyes went rather wide as he realized what it was that was sparkling. It was a find that caused his breath to catch in his throat as he approached, plucking two perfect, beautiful dragon orbs from the pile of various other bits and bobs that some sort of rodent had gathered. "Wow... these are just... wow!" He murmured, shocked as he held them up to the light. One of them an Ayrala orb, the other Peisio, things that he wouldn't have been able to get yet through hunting meaning that instead this was some sort of blessing given onto him by Seren herself! He hugged them tightly to his chest before he murmured earnestly to the Goddess, "Thank you, Seren, I will use them wisely!" Looking up and around he found there were two paths in which to leave. After a moment of thought he decided that, given his hands were full, that he'd take the easier path out. Hidden Treasure Prompt Now to leave. Go to "Leaving B" if you wish go out the tunnel in the middle of the wall or "Leaving A" if you wish to go out the tunnel in the wall.

By the time he was able to make it through the path with both orbs still in his possession Aiolos was exhausted. He knew that the orbs were worth all of the hassle but he also knew that he was going to need a bit of rest after all of the excitement that went along with exploring and then finding his way back out again. Dragging himself out of the tunnel he gave a sighing sound, shaking himself off all over. He was a bit scrapped up, bleeding in a few spots, but he was certain that it was all going to be worth it. Once he'd had a chance to rest and recover he'd figure out a good place to stash the orbs until he decided what he wanted to do with them.
His eyes were drawn for a moment to the ocean and he couldn't help but to feel as though his parents had led him to his spot and that Seren had blessed him with the Dragon Orbs. They would be his first step toward making something of himself he decided as he moved to sit under one of the nearby trees, the orbs sitting on his lap, and he let himself doze off.
