Hello there! First, before anything else, allow me to take this moment to welcome you all to MoG — your #1 stop for help, resources, contests, events, charities, chit-chat, and more! We're here to serve you and to see to it that you're given the resources and abilities to thrive in this ever-advancing Gaian community. It's an honor that you're reading this post because that means (a) you've either joined the guild, or (b) you're interested enough in it to come inside and check it out to help you make your decision. Either way, thank you for stopping by!
Now, before I let you get started, we do have some things to go over very quickly. The first thing is that, like any other good and well-organized place, we do have rules that need to be followed. Just simple, easy rules to follow that will help maintain a fun and friendly environment for us all. Make sure you read through them in the Rules and Guidelines which follow this post. It's not entirely necessary that you commit them to memory because this thread will always be here for reference, but we ask that you make sure to remember enough of them that we don't have to sort through a bunch of issues with rule-breakers.
After you've read through this thread to get started, what better way to make your first impression than by introducing yourself in the Mini-Games & Random Chit-Chat sub-forum? This will give you the opportunity to meet and get to know other users of the guild, and vice versa. That's also a good place to start playing little mini-games with fellow guild members. Read further through this beginner's guide to find out exactly what is and is not allowed in each sub-forum of this guild.
Here at MoG we pride ourselves in structure, organization, discipline, hard work, and dedication. Our top priority is making sure that you, the users, as upright citizens of Gaia, are given the best opportunities possible to succeed in this virtual world we call our home. It's for this very reason that we, the guild Crew, go out ourselves and find you the best guides and resources we can to help you progress in every aspect of this virtual life; and if we can't find something (good) for a specific need or topic, you better believe, we'll do whatever it takes to gather the appropriate information and create one ourselves. So, keep your eyes open in each sub-forum for some of the most amazing guides and resources found on Gaia — each will be posted in the appropriate sub-forum.

Violations of Gaia's Terms of Service (ToS) will not be tolerated in any way, shape, or form. Offending actions will be handled accordingly via guild Moderators, yes, but you also risk losing your account. We don't want any issues manifesting through this guild.
# Rule o2
------------------------------
Likewise, follow these rules and guidelines 100%. Rule-breakers will be handled professionally but accordingly. Oftentimes, offenses will result in (a) a temporary ban from the guild, or (b) a "perma-ban" (permanent ban) from the guild (if the offense is repeated numerous times or is large enough to begin with). These are not precautions we want to put into action, but they will be used if necessary.
# Rule o3
------------------------------
Flaming, bashing, insulting, harassing, trolling, etc., will not go unpunished. We are a guild in which the priority is bringing users together and finding new friends. With this, ruining the enjoyment of this guild and more so this site for other users is unacceptable. This rule covers, but is not limited to, bad sportsmanship, bad attitudes, uncalled for/excessive sarcasm towards other users, rudeness of any kind, etc. These are all offenses which may cause you to receive a warning on your account.
# Rule o4

This guild does not permit begging. Yes, you may create a quest thread in the Quests sub-forum; however, these threads but be structured and organized and cannot exhibit begging or anything closely related thereto.
# Rule o5
------------------------------
Respect our guild Crew. These users work in this guild to help make both it and Gaia a better place for all. Their time and efforts are not given so that you may be unappreciative or disrespectful. This will not be tolerated and will be guaranteed to cause you to receive a warning on your account.
# Rule o6
------------------------------
Post threads in the correct sub-forums of the guild. The guild has been organized and structured the way it is for a reason. Users not taking the time to find out what goes where will be talked to privately, have their thread moved to the correct sub-forum, and begin receiving warnings if it happens too many times.
# Rule o7
------------------------------
Additional rules may be implemented on top of these, or existing rules further edit or revised, if we, the Crew, deem it necessary. Be warned that numerous offenses, or offenses deemed serious enough, are likely to get your account permanently banned from MoG.

Whether you like hosting your own or you like to test your luck against the odds and see what you can when, this sub-forum provides you the perfect place to take part in tons of amazing charities and giveaways.
# Quests

Bring your biggest quest(s) to the open public by creating an organized thread in this sub-forum to politely request donations from other users of MoG. However, keep in mind that begging is not allowed anywhere in MoG. You cannot approach other users requesting donations, but you can create a quest thread and wait for the donations to come to you. c;
# Mini-Games & Random Chat

Play random, worry-free games. Basically, this isn't the place to find donations or take part in charities or contests. It is, however, the best place in the guild for having some random, relaxed fun and talking about whatever randomness your heart desires. Even at that, make sure your posts and threads follow guild rules and Gaia Terms of Service.

If you feel at home among the harsh users of the Gaia Exchange, hop on over into this sub-forum! You'll find yourself in the comfort your heart knows: the brutality of the Exchange users. be careful and keep your eyes open. It's pretty easy for users to get a bad deal or be taken advantage of in this place.

Not to be confused with random chit-chat topics, this sub-forum offers a home for those who enjoy debating, discussing politics/economy, etc. You can also discuss anything and everything concerning your avatar — hottest new items, what users think of your current avi, what good/popular styles are, and more! I literally mean everything.

If you're looking for some small change or are just curious about people's tastes, you are certainly welcome to make a poll thread and discuss the topics at-hand!
# Recycled Threads

This is a Crew only sub-forum. It's where we keep the old or dead threads of the guild that we're either through with or that nobody posted in for a long time. In fact, threads that go one (1) month or more without receiving a new post, any member of the Crew is inclined to move it to this sub-forum.
# Crew Headquarters
------------------------------
MoG Crew come here to discuss everything involving the guild. If there's an issue with specific users, this is where we discuss it. If there are new ideas being brought to the table, they go here as well. Literally everything that the Crew need to discuss is found here. Sadly, it's all in privacy. Yes, another Crew only sub-forum of MoG. However, rest assured, everything that happens in this sub-forum is aimed to further the guild and help it and its users succeed and find more ways to bring forth new enjoyment.
# Crew Workshop

This is where the real magic happens. The only other Crew only thread that we have, after new ideas, recycled ideas, or anything else of the sort as been passed through the initial voting/discussion phase it's then brought to life as a thread in this sub-forum. We do all of the beta-testing and layout/code examining in this thread to make sure it's absolutely perfect when it hits the public. Yes, we care that much. <3

Valentine's Day
This event takes place for the entire week leading up to Valentine's Day and is brought to a close on February 13th. We feature smaller contests and giveaways throughout the week and finish everything up with a huge party in Towns where users will take part in two (2) themed events, an even bigger giveaway, and, most of all, a day/evening of spending a lot of fun-filled time with friends and making new ones along the way.
St. Patrick's Day
For the week prior to St. Patrick's Day, users will take part in a contest and some giveaways and will finish the event up with another party in Towns and an announcement announcing the three (3) most active users of the guild during that week and giving out the "Active User" prizes to each.
Halloween
I hope you like to dress up because the entire month of October will be building up your spirits of Halloween by hosting tons of themed contests, big giveaways, and a huge party in Towns for all guild members to take part in and enjoy. At this Towns gathering, we will also announce five (5) winners and five (5) runners-up who had the absolute best costumes of the entire month! Each of the announced users will then receive the specified prize(s).
Christmas
For the first three (3) weeks of December, MoG will be working to pour out Christmas spirit to all users in our lovely guild community: giveaways, Secret Santas, themed contests, two (2) different parties in Towns, and massive prizes will all be getting jammed into these three weeks of non-stop MoG festivities!
