Chronos focused to keep the lantern balanced will on the end of his tail for his "light-sighted-friend". He wouldn't want him to smash into any of the natural stone pillars within the cave. The further from the main colony, the more of them and stalagmites there was strewed about the cave. Gabriel was working from the center out when it came to carving his tribe's home. That and the Theater... that was a priority.

"You are you doing back there friend?" Chronos called over his shoulder as they flapped toward a large rock formation.

One that oddly resembled a smiling skull of a B'alam with a mostly flat snout. The details were all of the natural rock and it was a bit of a stretch to imagine, but not too hard to see.

Up ahead he caught a glance of La Muerte flying in front. She was still visibly very angry with the situation. Chronos did feel bad for being the cause such trouble, but Xibaliba did need to learn to play fair...

La Muerte glanced over to Xibaliba as they flew toward her rock. She had already planned what to prepare for a meal, something that would please a non-dark b'alam. Did they eat meat? There were some borks to prepare... Perhaps she should inquire.

After they land. The poor dear needed his focus to get through the dark twists and turns of the cave.

Her nose pointed toward the "eye" of the rock formation. The perfect launch pad and entrance. La Muerte had grown found of her "guard tower". Or soon to be one. She did wish to make it more welcoming and colorful. La Muerte had a fascination of colors and even some bright things, even if she could not see well in the light. There was still an appreciation of it and what it brought.

Xibaliba's Ruby eyes caught the glance of his Amor, as she turned an eye upon him. He wordlessly answered with a turn of his head. Black Tar like wings where fully stretched out, letting the Ruby skull color canopy of membrane keep him easily in a glide. Front Paws curled comfortably to his chest, as they grasped his favorite staff. One that wasn't perfect and truly not the sorce of his Le Muerte's anger....

He felt that rage was something she would not soon forgot. Even with prospects of visitng the land of the forgotten, his so call claim at wrong doing would not be so easily slipped from her graceful thoughts.

Tail turned into rutter, as he didn't even bother to pay the guest any mind. He too was protected by more then the stern eyes of his Beloved and friend Chronos.

Pitty. poor old Balbie, couldn't have any fun....

And, just as he asked of his flower, he did as he offered. With a twist of the staff he guided the light at the end of it behind him. With a heavy flap of his wings he, opposite to his yoliliziti, he angled his nose upward.

Paws stretched out and claws slipped from their hiding. With thud of earth and rumble of stone, Xibalibe landed just above the entrance of His Soul bound's stubbed tower. His tail curled and slipped free the lantern at the end of his staff. Coupled with guided thoughts, Xibaliba swong the slowly infront of the cavern they would enter, just for the weak winged one.

Though, just as swiftly it was done, Xibalina took the light back under his wing and hid the glow with his body so to not harm or blind his kin's gaze. The guesture was enough to show the day glider where he would be landing.

Killain's light dependent gaze focused carefully on the building light of his leather winged friend. Chronos had once more gone the extra unneeded mile to make sure that the windsail was comfortable in beging able to navigate the caverns of the clan. All of which, the enclosed features was: yes, still vary much unsettling to the free-and open-sky Loving B'alam. It was something he felt he would need to come to terms with, if he still wanted to venture to be Tick-tock's friend....

That, and he didn't want to miss out on all the treasures he was spying...

Ear's perked to catch Chrono's words that glided on air to his careful ears. 'How was he doing'?

Well, honestly he was a bit unsure to where he was going. The sudden dark masses that would come up beside him, was a bit alarming at times as he couldn't make out the pillers vary well in the dark. It was like stoic guards that, he blessed where unmoved, and only would strike him down if there where a collision. Something off which, he had to trust wouldn't happen if he followed fastly after Chrono's tail.

So that was uncertain, but he trusted that he would make it. He was alright and well looked after.

So, how to discribe it. Ah! He knew!

"As fair as a sea breeze, mate!" Killian answered back, a tinder and meek flap of his white wings bounced him higher in Chrono's tail wind.

Brow and interested perked, as he watch and what he knew to be Xibaliba's eerie glow brake for a higher course. Blue eyes took in what now he could distigish faintly of La Muerte's Crimson and white features.

She was -so- beautiful....

The Attention was breife as it soon followed the Tar and Slime as it broke course to perch on what might have been a large structure of some kind. He only knew this, because of the white against the tar like mass that sat on top of it. the granddure of such a structure couldn't be fully knowing to the day watcher in such lack of light. However, he was giving a landing course, though just as surpingly as the help came, it fleed being cloaked by the night coat of it's keeper.

Well...it was somewhat...helpful....?

Toothless' midnight membrane guided him well into the lead of the pack of B'alam. He knew where he was going as he enjoyed visiting Le Muerte and Her treats often. The mute b'alam always found it a joy to be around her, unlike some froboding black masses. A squinted gaze pulled it's self from Xibaliba as he cast a 'ghost light' for their non-night seeing friend.

Toothless usual playful flight, was tamed by the knowing that quick and boucing movements seemed to startle the puppet master's friend. The feather wing, was a rather odd one, and Chronos seemed to take fond to curious little things. At anycase, it didn't seem nice to harass the poor Tahtil....too much.

With a flap of his large and in appearance scale like wings, Toothless lead the way into Le Muerte's tower. With a heavy and happy flop, the night b'alam scurried away into the chamber of the 'eye' of the tower. He had to be quick, because he knew his friends-plus a tar would be soon behind him.

La Muerte held a side glance on Xibaliba as he landed and withdrew his light. It could have been for "nice" reasons, but she was sure Balby was not being that nice to his fellow dark tribesman. Regardless, it was not something she could call him out about. She already had him in the bolf house.

Thankfully there were enough candles in the room to benefit both light-sighters and the other. Candles were such a nice invention. Someone had brought them by (who was that again?) and showed her how to make a small flame by using strange rocks. The name also escaped her at the moment. A brilliant invention.

With only a glance to Xibaliba, La Muerte drifted to the other side of the room to retrieve the special rocks to light the candles.

There was a meal to prepare and guests to entertain... Balby can get an earful later.

"Fascinating!" Chronos called out over his shoulder.

The description was amusing. Sea breezes were pleasant! There was so much to learn from this B'alam. Perhaps he should keep a journal. Like the things they have in the library.

As they approached the threshold of the entrance, Chronos struggled to keep the lantern on his twitching tail. This was going to make landing a little tricky.

*upmh*

Unlike Xibaliba, Chronos held the light out. Jolly was the last one in and there was no need to be cautious.

"Careful now my friend, there is a slight bump in the landing!" He warned and held the light toward where Jolly needed to aim.

Before Chronos made his landing and after Le Murte entered the cave, Xibaliba turned himself on the perch. And with a fall and a flap, Xibaliba landed right after his yoliliziti.

"As wonderful landing as ever, My love." Left Xibaliba's gruff throat as he followed after his bound. His dark wings folded comfortable on his back. The lantern that we held by his staff floated away to rest on a nearby ledge.

Ruby eyes didn't remove themselves from his Amor as he followed after her. Chronos and the silent one knew where to go. A breath left the Tahtill, with all the compliments he could give her, everyone of them truly meant. He had a feeling that she was not going to forgive him that easily.

Green tail moved behind him, it was hard to keep his hopes up about it when admittedly he knew that he had done wrong. Xibaliba just really wanted to win that bet. Question was, would he still have done it, if he knew such a reaction was the result?

"Are you going to need any help, Mi Amor?" Xibaliba ventured to ask, perhaps something to take her and her mind off his past deeds. However unlikely that was, it didn't hurt to try.

Killian released a breath though his nostrils as the Xibalba slipped away into the cave after La Murte, his yoliliziti. The two seemed like a fair couple. At least they felt as if they were a pair, like they where woven for each other. The wind kin couldn't help but feel a twinge of desire to find such a same bound with another. It just felt, for lack of a better word: 'right' and something to be sought after.

Pushing the thoughts aside, Killian gave a heavy flap of his white feathered wings. He found that he did have to work harder in keeping in the air in such a cave like place. The lack of wing made it more of a 'struggle' for him to stay lifted. No mater, it was something a hardy B'alam like himself could take care off. However, it did still unnerve him that he was in a 'closed-in' space. There was no means that he currently knew of for an easy escape if he needed to do so. On top of that, how would he even be able to see to navigate the twisty tunnels. In short; He was trapped.

And that bothered him.

Though it could be asked, why did he have the desire to want a escape? Was he planning something, well currently....no. He was curious about that 'special drink' that their leader had. What was so special that he alone had it? That and that ingrained curiosity and desire that wind b'alam naturally had was begging him to find out. Though, Chronos and He where friends, they where buddies and that was a treasure in it's self. It was something that Jolly did covet, but....that drink, and he and their leader where not friends.

Thought's pulled away from fruitless ventures as Tick-tock called out to him from his landing. Right! They where flying, and he would have to concentrate on landing. With another flap of his wings, Killian angled himself downward with a heave of the front of his body. Paws stretched themselves from their curled state, and toes flexed in prep for landing. Tail flicked and moved to assist in a balanced landing. Keeping his sharp blue eyes on the floating orb that was used to guide him, Killian felt a twinge of worry that was brought about by the idea of smacking head first into the rock face. The idea was a unpleasant one. Swallowing, the wind-rider braced his body more then he should had as his body sloped in for a landing. He was going to have to trust his friend.

*thud*

Landing came surprising easy in a heavy thud. A sigh of relief left the windkin, as he felt his claws recede back into their keep.
Hmm, not bad. Chronos had done a proper job in guiding him to a controlled crash...

Tail swept behind himself, and angled upward with a tip curl as he looked back to Chronos.

"Good Form, with that lantern Tick-tock." The sky thief spoke with a twist of a smirk on his maw. Well, will you look at that they both made it in once piece.

Hopefully that guiding light, that hung on the tip of Chronos tail, he found himself hoping it didn't hinder his friend too much.

Sapphire eyes slipped around the skull like cave, not that much could be noted in such dim light. Though he did let his eyes take in the faint splendider of faint color he could see. How Much more brillrent the colors would have been in proper sun light. With such a thought, something occurred to him. Something he found he had to faintly pitty for the powerful darkkin. For all their love of art, colors was something they wouldn't be able to fully enjoy. After all, it seemed as if the sun was the only light to bring out the best and brightest of colors.

Perhaps it would be something to ask Chronos in a more private conversation, though if they never knew how brilliant colors could be, how would they know what was missed? Maybe, it was something hat could never be comprehend with out first seeing what is missed out on. A conversation for another time.

Landing in the skull like cave's eye, Toothless easily landed and just like the back of his paw he knew where to go. Playfully he bounded into the shadows, and waited for the ruby beauty to make her appearance.

Watching La Muerte carefully, his eyes seemed to pick up her thoughts. With a quick bound the B'alam leap over to her 'magic' light rocks. Easily his thoughts scooped them up and floated them over to the Nahtill. In a hop, Toothless upper half lowered and his hind hunches raised. Tail whipped behind him, and he hopped playfully to the side then back.

As Xibaliba made his appearance, Bright green eyes slipped over to the corner of his gaze. Happy and parted maw, closed as a huff of disapproval left the B'alam.

Why didn't he say 'sorry', instead of beating around the bush and sliding around like a slimy creature....

La Muerte lifted her nose as Xibaliba came around to offer his help. She knew what he was doing, and no it was not going to make her forget the trouble he was in now. The cheater. She loved him, but he was a rotten cheater.

"You may help, Mi Amor-" She started with a purr. "-but that is not going to pull my mkine away from the trouble you are in."

The tip of her tail snapped toward him before she begun to make her way to a carved out hallway. One void of even candle light. She could see just fine, it didn't bother her. However, they did have a guest who might not be able to see as well.

They had yet to get candles installed in the walls. It was a work in progress. So, for the sake of the guest, they could dine in here. But that meant that provisions would have to be brought into the landing room.

"If you all would pardon me, I will return in a moment... Balby, come." She called for him without somuch as a glance over her shoulder.

"Oh good, I was worried that you would stumble. It is a good thing that you are able to see well with light there Jolly my lad." Chronos laughed with a shrug of his shoulders.

His wings shifted a bit on his sides while La Muerte asked her pardon for a moment. He could intertain for a bit. He didn't mind doing so infornt of Toothless and Jolly. It was good company. He was honored that she would trust him to stay alone in her place without any supervision.

"Hmn..." He hummed after La Muerte vanished behind the curtain of shadows. "It would be nice to make something for you to be able to see in the dark on your own. Without following a lantern that is. "

He turned his full attention to Jolly.

"I do believe you are going to be the root of many great things my friende."
Chronos laughed, fanning his wings out slightly as he thought more into what he had just said. There was so much that could be done just to improve life, or make a dark place more vibrant for a friend.

Xibaliba pulled himself closer to La muerte as she raised her nose to him.

"Cara Bella-." Xibaliba spoke in a almost pleading tone, as she pointed out that he was still vary much in trouble. The quick change of delight to harshness that left her sweet lips was evidence that she was still vary much serious.

Leaning back, Balbie avoided the little flick off her tail, and had it not been too serious of a matter he would have playfully snipped at it. Though such a action was left behind the released breath as she slipped away from him. Turning his head, and paw found his twisted bread and he pulled at in kind. His mind slipped around his thoughts as his ruby eyes watched as Chronos and the feather wing made their landing.

Perhaps...

His mind went back to the idea of another wager with his mi Amor, but what...and would she even take it?

Winding thoughts where sharply pulled away, as his ears perked to the sound of his name. Turning his head he looked back over to La Muerte, and before thoughts could linger more he followed after her. Dark Wings folded tightly behind him once more to make sure that he could navigate the caves more easily.

Toothless' Tail twitched slightly as he watched both Xibaliba and La Muerte with his bright green eyes. They where once more squabbling, it was all they seemed to be doing and the the Tar seemed to be trying to get out of being in trouble without saying he was sorry. Perhaps their great leader should have a talk with him, him as his yoliliziti seemed to have a good relationship.

As Le Muerte pardoned herself, Toothless made a hop to be in front of her, body stretched out to his full length. His head turned as he seemed to question if he could follow her as well. Tilting his head, his smile broadened and he glance down the hall then back up to the Nahtil. Tail shifted the little flag that was tied at the end. He wanted to help as well!

Landing, Hook pinned his wings back as his eyes wondered around the tighter inclosure. His body couldn't help but shrink just a little and his wings pinned more tightly at his back. He really-really did not like the cave systems, epically when they were so enclosed in.

"Yes." Killian spoke as his attention was brought back to Chrono's words. What was he saying? Oh right the Light. Yes, it was a vary good thing that Chronos had it. Jolly would have done well to voice such a thing, if heh ad not been so concerned and distracted by the still even tighter space they where in. He couldn't' wait to be out in open sky once more.

Turning his head from the decorations, Jolly's eyes looked from La Muerte as she announced her leave. Nodding, he just as Chronos easily excused her absents. She seemed like a proper Nahtill, polite and sweet.

"Indeed," Killian spoke, his attention returning to his darkfriend. "Perhaps we could do something about lack of open spaces, eh? Mate." The wind balam teased, the idea. (but not really) A weak smile shown on his maw, he had been so distracted by the treasures and uncharted 'waters' that it had done well to distract him from just how futile escape and lacking the caves where in open sky. Something, he was easily reminded in a smaller cave and in their flight over to such a place.

Killian needed to find away to get over such a hindrance. He vary much enjoyed the company of all the Dark Kin...

Jolly forced more of smile, as Chronos boasted in more laughter. He sure did like creating things, and Jolly sure did enjoy keeping things...

La Muerte held her nose high while Xibaliba tried to woo her with that charming look of his. She couldn't help but imagine he was scheming something in that tar-filled head of his. He was as a book to her, just as she was likely to him. La Murete chose not to look further into the idea he might be scheming. He was the master of his own world and she honestly would not change anything about him... well, perhaps less cheating. Xibaliba was certainly too crafty for his own good sometimes.

Bright eyes widened as suddenly her path was cut off by the dark-pelted Toothless.

"Are you wanting to come with us, sweet bebé?" She cooed in her sugary voice.

A paw reached up to pat the side of his cheek as a mother would a child.

"You know I love it when you help out, you are my little helper." She hummed while she placed her paw back on the ground.

A side glance was offered to her Amor accompanied by a smile before she continued forward toward the large room on the other side of the hall. One that was still being carved out and appeared more cave-like than homely.

Even if the reques was a mere joke, Chronos paused a moment to think on how to fix making a cave seem more like the open sky. It was nothing a little paint couldn't fix, but there needed to be air and a cool breeze.

If only there was paint that shined like the stars. He would have to add that to his list of things to work on.

"I am sorry my friend, That I do not have an answer for yet. Perhaps if you shifted your mind to dwell on other things? It helps me when I find myself becoming uncomfortable." That or burn the source. Oh the puppets he had gone through just o make a mockery of a traitor... and he still had yet to produce results.

"If there is anything to look forward to, it is La Muerte's meals. Xibaliba is quite fortunate to have someone with such skill. The meat she prepares tastes so much better than raw off the bone... It leaves your mouth in a delightful waterfall of flavor."

Chronos grinned while he thought of the last time he had a meal prepared by La Muerte. Despite having his desire to learn how she prepares the meals rejected, he found he could not be so upset over that. One can't know everything, it did make life interesting.

As Xibalaba followed after La Muerte and her call, if he wasn't in trouble...

"Must you call to me like a Bolf." Came from Xibalaba's voice in a grumble. "Mi Amor..." The Tar sighed in a slight pleading tone, as if he was going to let some reason slip past his maw.

Well he was in the Bolf house...

But still!

Winged flex a little as he too was suddenly stopped by the quick hault of his other half.

Ruby eyes rolled as she talked once more to the grown B'alam, who she treated like a cub. Eyes watched with how she treated the dark b'alam. She would be a good mother. Perhaps he...

Tail shifted in deep thought, till his red eyes met her own blue and green. The glance and smile snapped the black out back to reality and the moment.

"Hm, what?" Balba huffed, his wing claws Danced almost in a nervious tap on his head staff.

Not waiting an answer her followered after his Amor.

Killian's ears shifted to Chrono's words, and unneeded apologies.

"Apologies, Mate." Jolly sighed, it was his apology to make, if anyone was to make one. After all, they have all but been anything, but unkind to him. A stranger.

"I find I don't too fancy the closed spaces..." The wing B'alam admitted in a little bit of a week smile. It would take some getting use to, hopefully he could in time.

Jolly's smile strengthened to the idea of food. His light tail shifted around, the Advice Chrono gave him was really helpful, as he was hungry. But then again when was a wind balam not hungry? They did spend energy non too sparingly and he felt as if he was always hungry. Which in turn brought his thoughts back to that drink, that Chronos and him had made a deal on.

"Is that so? " Jolly's ears where more attentive, food did sound great-and if it was as wonderfully tasting as stated upon, The b'alam was excited. So much so he felt his maw and tongue start to moisten

Toothless's head raised to receive the little pat on the side of his maw. Yes. He did want to help!

Bobbing his head, dark tail and flag thumped the ground as a smile took his maw. Wide Green eyes closed as his tail shifted about on the rock. whiskers happily twitched forward.

He was a little helper, and didn't mind the cub like treatment he always seemed to get from the sweet La muerte. The Tar pit really didn't understand what he had....

A crack of an eye opened to check on the dark slimy mass that spoke behind the sweet lady.

"Ahhhh..." Chronos breathed to the revelation of understanding behind Jolly's fears.

Closed spaces, it would make sense that would be a fear of his. Or, something he didn't "fancy". He liked the open skies when it was bright, the caves were dark as night. Why would that produce fear? It just made sense. Perhaps later Jolly would be up for a little Q and A. He was still new to this place and was already having a lunch with the infamous pair of Darks.

"Well than.... we will have to work on something of a remedy to this. I cannot say I have every had a discomfort for closed spaces. However, I am sure the wonderful smell of La Muerte's food will offer a most satisfying distraction from this discomfort." Chronos chimed, but continued to think of possible solutions.

It would be so much easier if he could understand why. To make a puppet "life-like" one had to understand how life worked.

"Soon the sensational smell of spices will caress our nostrils and tug at our heartstrings and inevitably our stomachs. I find it hard to focus on anything else when this phenomenon occurs. As distracting as a golden coin winking at you from the sands below..."

And sure enough after a short while of La Muerte's disappearance in the hall the sweet aroma of spice and moat wafted through the air. At first it was subtle, but as time went on it became stronger and joined with other pleasant senses.
PostPosted: Tue Apr 14, 2015 2:11 pm

Jolly's ears perked ever so slightly as Chronos released a breath of revelation. A little grin turned on Killian's whiskers. What a strange sound, yet-he fancied it. Tan tail shifted as he listened to the poetry of his friend's words.

He felt his maw start to drool at the vary thought, and to even compare the Nahtil's food to the sight of gold. Well, now he couldn't wait to try such a meal! Perhaps a windkin's love of gold was perhaps more well known then he had thought...

Chuckling, Killian's thoughts where distracted momentary by the small space as he thought more keenly on the idea of gold, and food. Tail flicked over once more in joyful thought.

"That's a bold claim, Tick-tock" Jolly twisted a smile on his maw, and no sooner then the words left his maw his head turned to the smell that drifted though the air.

So, this is what 'cooking' smelt like....The aroma cause the sky dweller's tail to curl. The scent cause the Tahtil's head to turn toward it, as if to lure him closer....

Chronos threw his head back in a fit of laughter. He would have had a hard time believing it himself had he not had a first had experience with this delightful aroma. His nostrils flared while he drew in a deep breath and held his head high. It was the second most alluring aroma he had yet experienced. The first was, of course, blood, but he was resolved not to bring up such a thing around Jolly. Chronos did recall Jolly's reaction when they had made their first agreement. He probably would not enjoy that tidbit of information...

"Bold, yes, but I see you understand?" Chronos chuckled as he watched the door. "And that is only the beginning. As time draw on the fragrance increases in power."

His ear flicked to the heavy beating of wings just outside the cave. It was as if a storm was gathering just outside the cave, but simply passed overhead. That was odd, but perhaps Gabriel had dealings outside of the massive cave.

After the storm had passed overhead and the sound had nearly faded his ears turned back toward Jolly. Perhaps it was for the best at the moment. Xibaliba and La Murete were a handful themselves to take in at once.

More sweet, bold and spicy aromas filled the air in a delightful massage to the senses. It was so strong that one could almost taste the food by the air alone. It wouldn't be long now.

"They will likely serve the meal here, that will be alright with you, Jolly?"

No sooner then when Chronos claimed his understanding, then the smell started to overpower the wind b'alam's senses.

It was a bold claim, one he was indeed understanding at that moment.

Jolly's maw parted in a uncivilized manner to take in as much of the smell he could. It caused his maw to drool even more, and his stomach to roar with hunger.

Wow....What a smell, he had never...Never. Smelt such a thing before..

Why, it was...unreal.

"Tell me, Tick-tock. This isn't one of your experiments now is it?" Jolly's tail shifted as his head dropped to look more seriously back at the Tahtll beside him.

Yes, if he could have some of this...'cooking'. He was content to eat it anywhere. In a box, or even with a fox...what ever that was....

Chronos had been watching the smell take hold of Jolly's entire expression. The way the wind b'alam's maw parted to how his eyes seemed to try and take on the same duties as the nose as if to experience this glorious scent in every aspect. Sharp eyes took not of every stage of this change. So it wasn't just a Dark-Tribe thing to be excited about the succulent smell of La Muerte's cooking.

"My friend, I am always experimenting." Chronos laughed.

He turned his head back down the hall as the feint echo of claws tapping against rock sounded just faintly. An amused grin spread across Chrono's maw.

"There is so much about life I want to learn about, so much I want to understand and improve on. For me, it is a game. There is a lot to have fun with in this world, and I plan on becoming a master of it." He spoke with more of a chuckle. "I do hope you don't mind. Feel free to give it a try yourself."
