Adam pushed back a branch then held it so it wouldn't hit Esper and if
someone looked further ahead they would see steam and a hot
springs." Well here it is the hot springs " Adam said pointing to it
with his free hand.

Esper clapped his hands and smiled brightly. "Oh, thank you! Thank you so much!" He gave Adam a quick hug before running toward the water. He tossed his bag on the ground and jumped in, splashing water against the rocks. He kept submerged in the water for a while and washed away the dirt and mud. When he came up his hair was perfectly white and his face clear. Esper no longer looked like a mud-monster. He laughed and swam around before getting out to remove his wet clothes. He grabbed a few items from his bag then returned to the water to clean himself better.

Adam watched as Esper washed himself." Do you mind if I join you? I
have old people smell on me..." Adam said as he started to take off
his jacket." I'm the god of death if your wondering." Adam said he
think it was a good thing too keep the fact that he brings death a secret.

Esper shook his head. "The water is great. Come on in." He smiled and took another plunge. Esper swam around in the deepest place and touched the bottom to feel the warm rocks. He tried to find an opening or maybe a crack in the bottom. When he got tired of searching he resurfaced and sighed. He didn't need much air, so he could have stayed there longer.
"Death, huh?" He could imagine that the Life God and him would either be really tight or totally hate each other. "I'm-- Well. I'm God of the stars." He blushed, knowing it must sound really stupid. Not many people of the era believed that he could be the one to create the stars or whatever he did. Esper lowered himself in the water up to his nose.

Adam finished getting undressed and got in the water and let the water
come up to his neck." So what are you really? Your not a god
obviously because you have an expiration date and normal gods don't
sense their immortal." Adam said looking at him Adam wasn't the
type of person to judge someone based on their race

When Adam accused him of being something other than what he seemed, it made him feel like an imposter. "I do not know what your eyes see, but I have lived much longer than this planet's own lifespan. If I had to guess, I'd say my origins are not of this world." His tone made it seem as though he was a bit angered by Adam being so blunt. When Esper turned his back to him it was obvious he was troubled about something. "If I find no reason for me to be here, then I will leave. I just don't have enough power yet." If Esper could have just told Adam about how his lifespan was like that of a Star's then it would be much easier to explain. "When I die.. It will be unpreventable." He wanted to hide, his mood had turned bitter because of those two questions. Esper slowly went under the water and stayed there.

Adam realized he probably upset Esper by his last comment and
rubbed the back of his head and then dunked his own head under water
then came back up with his hair dripping wet." Sorry, I didn't mean to
upset you I was just curious of what you really were but sense you put it
like that I guess you really are kind of like a god." Adam explained looking
up at the sky." Then again I'm a lot like you as well I'm not immortal
ether." Adam told him

Esper resurfaced and came up behind Adam. "Did you ever wish for a friend? Maybe a lover? Or just someone who could be there for you the way you wanted?" As the sky darkened a bit Esper seemed to glow almost naturally, kind of like he was producing his own faint light. It wasn't very bright, but it was noticeable. "You're human?" Esper reached out and gently touched Adam's back with his fingertips.

Adam looked at the water then back at Esper." All the time....But not
many people like me because I'm the god of death...No I'm not human
but I don't have immortality I can die....I lost my immortality thanks to my
Counter part the god of life though we look different he's still my counter
part....Only reason I'm alive now is because he keeps taking sips of the
elixir of life." Adam explained putting his hand behind his head.

Esper looked up to the sky and stared at it. He had one last question.. One that could determine his fate. "Did you.. Wish on a star?" He almost couldn't bare the wait of knowing. Esper lowered his head and then looked over to Adam for the answer.
It seemed logical that Esper didn't belong on Earth, but for some reason he was there. If he could find a reason, then he'd stay. Because if he wasn't needed on Earth then some other place might. But Esper didn't have time to ask everyone if they made a wish on a star.

Esper lowered his gaze and began to think back. It'd been about five months or so since he'd awakened in the crater. For a while he went around asking random people about wishing, but no one really cared. They said it was childish or a waste of time. He spent another portion of his time learning and reading at the library, trying to figure out this new world. After those four months were over his next month was spent preparing to leave. He'd trained so hard, feeling like he wasn't needed here.
He trembled slightly and looked up at Adam, tears in his eyes. "I finally found you.." He said in a whisper. Esper went over to Adam and wrapped his arms around him, soon giving him a kiss. It felt almost electric and warm. When he pulled back he smiled. "I've been searching for you and I will do anything for you. I'm yours." Esper continued to hug Adam, tightly because he finally felt wanted.

Adam blushed when he was kissed and soon kissed him back but
pulled away when he said he was his." Your not some item your a
person....I-I won't treat you like a slave." Adam told him looking away
slightly still trying to process the kiss." So I guess if you wish on stars
enough the wish comes true huh?" Adam thought to himself.

Esper stared at Adam, he slowly looked away. "You- You don't want me?" He stopped glowing and his tears seemed to continue with new purpose. "I can be anything you want.. I can try at least. Please, don't.. Please don't send me away." Esper looked down as his tears ruined his reflection in the water. He quickly wiped them away but kept his eyes low.
His memories were still lost, but his race wasn't. He came from a race known as Star People for a simple term. Their purpose was to find someone who made a wish upon their star and visit them. Stay with them for how ever long they needed to. Try to make their life just a little bit better.
