History: Rose was raised by her parents in the lovely seaside Ambrette Town. One time when she was younger, she snuck off to play on the Ryhorn that trainers rode to go to a cave nearby. After her parents had caught her, she wasn't allowed a lot of freedom for a long time. Finally, when she became a teenager, her parents allowed her to go out more. It wasn't until later when she was seventeen that they had given her permission to get a pokemon partner and journey the world.

Rose met her Starter Pokemon in Professor Sycamore's lab in Vaniville Town in the summer time. She named the Fennekin Fynx, and eagerly started on her journey! Once she made it to Aquacorde, she was given a gift from an unknown sender, and met her shiny swablu, Auriel. As she made her way into Santalune Forest, she met some trainers for a bit before receiving yet another pokemon from a mysterious messenger. She named the Piplup Irvin, and tried some training with her starter. She then heard of a Fair going on this summer, and decided that she had to go, and that her journey in Kalos would have to wait. While waiting for the train in Vaniville Town, Irvin evolved into a Prinplup! Also, she gained a new team mate from an anonymous benefactor V; A shiny eevee named Gina! The fair was a great experience for her and her entire team. She played around, won some prizes. Fynx became shiny after an encounter with one of Rose's prizes. Rose met Ajicka, and then decided that they would not only be friends, but rivals! Soon after meeting her, she left the fair to take battling more seriously, reading some books on the basics of training. She defeated the Gym in Santalune with much frustration with her pokemon falling asleep. In South Lumiose, Fynx evolved into a Braixen, and they shared a warm hug. She then made her way to Cyllage to challenge Grant, but along the way, she met Felix, a ralts that helped her along the way. Before challenging the gym, she decided to stop by her home in Ambrette and say hi to her parents, leaving them with some of the pokemon she had caught along the way. She then went to revive a Jaw Fossil at the lab in town, gaining a Tyrunt who she named Rex. Rose then trained around town and in glittering cave, meeting Bijou, a mawile that joined her team. Deciding she was ready to move on, she went to Cyllage to challenge the gym, but first met with Ajicka again for a trade. Bijou later took out Grant's pokemon easily on her own, and Rose returned to the fair to thank her pokemon. This time she made more friends; she made friends with a tall goof ball named Marx, a rather serious but kind girl named Alexandra, and another fun person called Shenaiya. Alas, the fair soon came to an end, so Rose bid farewell to her friends, their numbers in her holocaster. After having thought about how inept Marx was, especially at naming pokemon, Rose decided to meet up with Marx in the Hoenn Region and trade him Felix, so she wouldn't worry too much about her new goofy friend. In return, she received Kuno, a Poochyena.
Rose started back on her journey, doing more training along the way. Eventually, as she made her way to Shalour City for her next gym badge, Fynx evolved into Delphox, finally able to speak her mind to Rose. Fynx in tow, she defeat the gym in Shalour and made her way to Coumarine for her fourth badge. Along the way, she had received a mysterious invitation to a halloween ball. Rose was against going, but after she got her Plant badge, Fynx dragged her to the ball.
The ball wasn't very fun to Rose, as she felt nervous about the ghosts that must be there. It wasn't all that bad. Well, until a hurricane blew in, and Fynx was stolen from her. Rose immediately suspected ghosts, crying from the loss of her best friend. She was sent with a group to search the Kitchen for the thieves. There, she met Avikna, Alice, Shayna, Alex and Gio, but was too panicked and upset to actually make friends. However, she did offer up her holocaster number, which Gio eagerly took. As fate would have it, Rose was right; it was ghosts. They were dragged into the meat locker to fight a dusknoir, who proceeded to defeat her pokemon in one fell swoop after another. It was going to eat her soul! Rose sent out Rex, who had run off, distracted by the hanging meat. Rose pursued, scared of being left without anyone protecting her. She was 'attacked' by a rack of meat, causing her even more panic. Finally, they found a way out and back to the ballroom where everyone was, and Rose was so weak and scared that she started to cry. A kind trainer sent a shiny Ninetales over to comfort her, and soon Shenaiya and Marx came to comfort her. Then, the Zombies attacked. All the stolen pokemon appeared to be effected by this, and used against them. Rose could not handle this, and Felix knocked her out for most of the battle, ordering around her pokemon when needed. Towards the end of the battle, Rose woke up again, beaten and sore, but tended to her friend Marx. Soon, the battle was won, and Fynx was reunited with Rose, perfectly fine.
The event ended, and some mysterious force sent her back to Coumarine City, where she was before this entire ordeal.
Rose was startled out of her happy little thoughts of meeting with her friends after this event as the barrier before the zombie trainers shattered and they started to freak out. Rose quickly hid her face against Marx, covering her ears as they screamed. It seemed that the zombie trainers had lost, and soon it was quiet. All except for the sounds of the storm . Rose peeked up at her friend. "Is it... over? Did we win...?" she asked, then chanced a look around as she heard the trainers speak up, no longer zombified or moving around jerkily. And all their pokemon appeared, normal, but passed out. Rose wasn't sure what to expect. None of the stolen pokemon were moving at first. It wasn't until the chansey clapped, sending out a healing pulse before any life seemed to come from the collapsed pokemon. Rose felt she couldn't breath as she looked around for any sign of Fynx.
Fynx stirred, her eyes slowly blinking open. She was sprawled out on the floor of a dusty, broken ball room. "Huh...?" she felt disoriented, cringing as recent memories struck her. She remembered they all fought against Raphiel in the basement, but were overpowered by that abomination of his. She recalled the dark form that had possessed her, causing her appearance to look grotesque. And she remembered seeing a flareon slumped on the floor... No, not a flareon. "Rose!" Fynx exclaimed, eyes opening wide as she had remembered seeing her trainer's form on the floor as if she had been dead. The silvery Delphox shuddered at the thought and got to her feet, looking over all the trainers. There she was. A whimper of happiness escaped the bipedal fox, elated to see that she was alive. Hopping over other pokemon that were still waking up, Fynx made way for Rose.
"ROSE!!! Oh Rose!!! I was so worried!!!" Fynx cried as she approached, swiftly swooping down on her to scoop her up into her fluffy arms. "F-Fynx?!? I- I thought i l-l-lost you forever!!!" Rose cried, wrapping her arms around her starter tightly. The Delphox spun in place, still holding her trainer bridal style, nuzzling her muzzle against her hair. "Rose, I'm so sorry i made you come to this event! We shouldn't have trusted that gastly and the letter. It was all a trick!" Fynx told her owner, tears speckling her silver fur. It was a very emotional moment for them both, and for a while, they cried together, holding each other tightly. "I'm n-n-never going to let you leave my side again!" Rose cried against Fynx's fuzzy chest as she was finally set down on her own two feet. Trainer and pokemon still locked in a tight hug.
It took a while for the reunion to settle down a bit, and once it did, Fynx had told felix about what happened in the basement, telling him that we needed to stay and defeat raphiel and his monstrosity. The kirlia nodded, already considering how he could possibly convince marx to stay and fight. "Rose... I know it's scarey and all, and you've probably been through a lot, but... We should stay and fight so that raphiel won't ever do this again." Fynx told Rose. The red head paled at the thought of possibly running into more spooks in this ball. She wanted to just leave, but something in her starter's voice made her think it was a better idea to stay and beat up that guy that had done this. "Alright! I'll stay and fight... for the future beach party!" Rose smiled. Fynx grinned at this, then turned her attention to the shiny Ninetales. It certainly wasn't a team mate, yet she vaguely remembered seeing it laying beside rose's collapsed form protectively. "Thank you Miss, for taking care of my trainer. " she said to Vixen, bowing her head respectfully.
