California was everything she had hoped it would be. The first few days of her job were just…outstanding, and her apartment was so beautiful, she couldn’t even really begin to describe it…
She had been keeping in close contact with three people back in Destiny City, Jett, Zack and Lydia.
Jett and Zack were never difficult to get a hold of, and Lyida had not ever been an issue either…until about two days ago when she just…stopped calling and stopped answering her phone.
Raven hadn’t wanted to have to make her way back to Destiny City for anything other than maybe picking Zack up or maybe going on dates with Jett…but now here she was, powered up and walking around the streets, trying to find some clue as to where Lydia had gone. She had tried calling once she got back to the city, but there was still no answer…and she just didn’t know what to do. Jett had no information, nor had she really expected him to, so now it was just…time to wonder aimlessly around the city…
Damn did she ever hope she found something worthwhile…she was starting to get pretty worried. Lydia was her best friend…and if anything had happened to her again…well…
She just hoped it wasn’t something that was going to be a…
Yeah. She wasn’t going to think about it.

Chaonis was not interested in anything but finding Navi. He spent very little time doing anything else, and only stopped when he had to rest. He had no leads, and no idea where they could be. It felt like he had explored every inch of the city over and over, and found absolutely nothing. Camelot said they needed to expand their search, get more people involved and check outside the city, but if they opened that door how far could Painite have gone?
She literally could have been anywhere by now. That thought terrified him.
Leaving her alone with that nightmare of a human being... no, Painite was not even a human being at this point. She was some kind of monster, though she did not look like a youma. Her starseed was completely devoured by chaos, and there was nothing left of reason or compassion in her. That was why he needed to find Navi and get her away from that nightmare once and for all.
Leaping from a roof, he felt an aura and nearly threw his whole leap out of whack. He managed to keep his trajectory though and changed his path only after he landed on the next roof, turning and running toward the dark mirror aura he felt nearby. He leaped down to it without pause, slamming into the ground and straightening up to see not Navi, though he knew inside that it wouldn't be, but someone else.
"Have you seen Navi?" he asked gruffly, taking a breath after his sudden run and jump episode. Maybe, just maybe, Navi was hiding in mirror space or something.

Lesath wasn’t sure if she was going to run or stand her ground when she felt the approaching order side aura…she didn’t want to get into any fights, and she really…
No, she just really didn’t have any time for any of that.
So when the eternal senshi plopped right down in front of her, Lesath grimaced, raising her fists slightly. Oh please, just don’t hit her face…she needed that right now for her modeling gig…
When the senshi spoke, she was completely sure it was going to just be some cocky challenge and declaration for war…but then he asked where Navi was and her head snapped up. “Oh…are you…” She wracked her brain for a moment. “Are you Chaonis?” If he was…and if he didn’t know where she was…then she hadn’t just gone and purified…and she hadn’t just…run away to be with him or something…
Something was wrong, that much was for sure.

Chaonis frowned at her. He knew he should have paid more attention when Navi talked about her friends, instead of just getting himself distracted by her beauty all the damn time. It wasn't his fault she was all he could think about, and focusing on other people had always been a difficult project for him. Navi captured his attention, and remained the only one to do so.
"I'm Chaonis, yeah. You know Navi?"
He could only assume Navi spoke about them to this Dark Mirror, which put her in a very limited number of people they had trusted with the information about their relationship. He did not, however, know how much she knew and if she was aware of what was happening with Navi now.
"I'm trying to find her. You can do the mirror thing, you need to help me."
Not the most polite way to request help, but still. He was in the middle of a terrible panic and he just wanted to find his girlfriend before Painite had a chance to do something really terrible.
If she hadn't already.

“I do know Navi, she’s my best friend.” Lesath held out a hand and shrugged. “I’m Lesath…Where has she gone? She normally calls me every day…but she stopped a few days ago, and I don’t know what’s going on, where is she…and what happened to her, Chaonis…if you don’t know where she is…then I’m guessing she didn’t find a princess and purify to be with you…so…so what happened, because I know something had to have happened…”
The Dark Mirror Senshi swallowed. “I don’t want to think that anything bad happened to her…of course I’ll help you, Chaonis. You don’t even have to ask…I’d do anything for Navi.”
She really was worried, and growing more so by the minute…whatever happened…she only hoped that it wasn’t something as bad as what had happened to her the last time she was in the hospital…because that had been a terrible injury.

"Lesath," Chaonis said, nodding his head. There was something familiar about the name, he knew that at least, but he could not pin point exactly what. He watched her, frowning but relaxing a bit in the sense that he did not openly consider her an enemy, at least.
Unless she proved otherwise, of course.
He nodded his head, believing the other Dark Mirror Senshi when she said she was going to help, and that she cared so much about Navi. It was hard to lie about something like that, and as far as he knew, she had no reason to. She also had no reason to know him if Navi did not trust her, after all.
"Painite kidnapped her. I don't know where they could have gone. Painite just appeared, grabbed her, and vanished, and we hardly had time to react. Right out of my goddamn arms. I'm going to kill that b***h when I find her, and if anything's happened to Navi, I'm going to kill Painite twice."

Lesath frowned. “Was she the one who hurt her before? When she had that awful neck wound…? She wouldn’t tell me the name, but I was ready to rip whoever it was apart…Painite, hm?” She nodded. “Well, how can I help? Where should we start? Chaonis, you lead this show, I’ll be here for mirrorwalking support and whatever other support I can provide…but we have to get Navi back first…you can kill Painite after Navi is safe…okay?”
She swallowed. If anything had happened to Navi…well…there would be one less reason for her to come back to Destiny City again. Ever…
Oh god her stomach was in knots right about now. Literal knots.
“Lead the way, Chaonis…I’m ready to do some a** kicking.” And she was...she had never been this eager to fight before...but this was Navi...her best friend in the whole damn court...the one she really knew she could rely on...
They just had to save her. She just had to be okay.

"Yeah, Painite did that. I wasn't there for that fight, but it was bad and Navi was really shaken up. Now Painite is even more insane. She's supposed to be dead, but she refuses to stay that way."
He was not going to let her have a choice any more, if he got his chance. No more hesitating or thinking of the greater good: there was nothing left in her that could be saved. And she did not deserve to be.
He was glad to have another set of eyes with him, though, and maybe she could find him something he had missed in his frantic searching. Think of something he hadn't thought of.
"I don't know where to go. I don't know where they could be. I feel like I've searched everywhere in this damn city so far and I can't feel them. I know Painite has to be powered up somewhere, but any nega I do feel doesn't end up being her."

This Painite person was supposed….to be dead? What the hell, was she a cockroach or something? Disgusting. Lesath sighed. “I don’t know where to go either…but if we can split up, we can at least cover more ground…I can look for Navi, and you can look for Painite…oh damn. I just wish there was a way to get ahold of you if I find one, or if you find one…damnit. I don’t want you getting hurt if you do end up running into Painite…and, quite frankly, I don’t want to get hurt either.”
Because getting hurt was not in her plans. None of this was in her plans…but hey. It was something that had to be done…she knew Navi would do the same thing for her. Lydia would do the same for Raven too.
“It’s your call, Chaonis…Where should we start?”

Chaonis took a deep breath, then tried to think things through.
"No, I don't have a way of contacting you, you're not on my phone. We'll have to stick together. Come on, we'll both start at the same place and work around as much as we can right now before we get the others involved: I don't want to lose any more time."
He had already wasted days looking around the city for someone who was not even there. How much of an idiot could he be?
"Let's go. We're not too far from the forest, that's a good place to start: there's plenty of space for her to hide out there, so we're going to have to search up and down. I don't know if they're powered down or what, but if they're not that's going to help us. Just pay attention, okay? We're travel apart, but within ear shot, and cover as much ground as we can."
