The snow continued to flutter down as the white sky started to fade to a dark grey to almost black appearance in some places. Breath rose like smoke from the stallion’s nostrils as he continued to keep a rather jaunty like pace across an empty field. His black coat glistened against the snow giving the illusion of a black gem shimmering in the dullness of white as he picked up his pace. A screeched echoed along the edge of the field as something hissed and darted across the snow. The stallions laughed if only for a moment as he plunged even quicker across the snow, the small frame dancing across before leaping into the edge of the woods again.
Kias had not imagined he would meet such a creature with such odd looks but he couldn’t help but poke a little fun at the beast. Of course in turn the result was he fleeing for his own life, but he couldn’t help but feel rather exhilarated at the rush he felt. His heart pounding in his chest, his hooves flying across the snow covered ground all of it blurred by, as the constant worry of slowing would result in danger.
