Liam huffed a sigh and went back to staring at his phone screen. Eric had cancelled plans with him, Beckie and Eirian were having a girl's day, and Shawn was busy magicking it up with the esteemed High Lord. He would've just stayed home, but he'd caught sight of how his parents were giving each other heart eyes this morning and thought better of it. So that meant home was off limits for a couple of hours, and all the members of his little social circle were off gallivanting without him.
Clicking the tip of his tongue again the roof of his mouth, he surveyed the area around him with bland disinterest. Honestly, he didn't particularly like this mall - the one across town had a much better selection of pretty much everything. Hence why this one was probably going to be closing soon. Also why a bunch of hipsters liked to hang out here. Liam himself wasn't a hipster by any means, but they WERE entertaining to people watch. Hell, who knew, he might even catch sight of an elusive Undead or two! "That'd be pretty cool, huh." he muttered to himself, shifting as he continued to lean against the side of one of the lease-able shop spaces.

It was a usual day in Kid's life, nothing too strange and she enjoyed that. Her family seemed to be growing everyday so the less she saw them the better. Most of them was annoying and she didn't have the time to be bothered by them, which meant most of the time she kept by herself. Which was why she was in this mall. It was small and dying and she oddly enjoyed that. It was the tranquil peace of nature she got from this mall that kept her coming back and back for more.
She moved slowly along staring at all the hipster what was were chattering about god only knows, they were strange people and Kids made sure never to interact with them as they were not her type at all. She gave a small yawn and kept window shopping. Nothing ever really caught her eye because if she ever did really shop nothing would actually work because once she tried something on she owned it. It seemed that the owners of these stores didn't enjoy blood-stain clothes. She sighed and flicked her tail.

Liam looked up from his phone, noting that a few of the hipster groups has merged to form some sort of mass, 'so not mainstream' clan in the center of the food court. Food court being a run-down Panda Express and another concession shop that changed every other week to a different chain fast food place. He was sort of hungry at this point in the day, but not enough to dare brave the blast-from-the-past crown's judging gazes. Maybe he'd just head of the mall and take a city bus to a different part of town? Eh, that sounded like a lot more effort than was necessary to his only a little hungry self. Maybe in a couple of hours he'd have made up his mind.
Scanning the masses once more, he paused. There, across the way, was a girl.Nothing really should have caught his attention about her other than the fact that, and he'd feel really lame if he was wrong, she seemed... well, not alive. A Lycan, too, judging from her ears and tail. Coyote, maybe? "+10 to foresight.", he muttered, eyes following her path around the circular room - looking as though she were window shopping. Her black and pink dress had certainly seen better days.
Liam shifted slightly, weighing his options. On the one hand, he was intrigued. He'd never met an Undead before, and had tons of questions. On the other, he didn't want to offend her since she probably got a lot of questions all the time. Eventually, he settled for 'If she notices me noticing her, I'll introduce myself.'Raspberry Hippos There's a species system in Liam's world - I can explain it if you'd like. But since you brought up her tail, I figured she wasn't a human Undead. Lycans can be any humanoid with animal features - think Neko girls and you should be good. Most Lycans are canine, and those that aren't generally are mammalian.

You know that feeling you get when someone was watching you and shrivers would go down your spine. Yeah that one, the one where you always believe if you look back someone would looking right you. Yeah that's the one that Kids was getting. She gave a small sigh and rolled her shoulders. She was use to this. It wasn't like she didn't feel this before as she was very different from others and if you're different people stare.
She didn't understand why people stared at her. She wasn't that different, she could still do everything everyone else did it was just the fact that her heart wasn't beating. Which help her out a lot, she hated feelings things so if she didn't have a heart to beat warm blood through her veins then she wouldn't have to worry about the fact that caring is a prime subject in living beings, even though her aunt, mother, sons and the rest of her family seemed to care about everything.
Maybe this was because in fact that she was different. She didn't enjoy people, they bother her because they never do what they were told. If she wanted something she would ask, people did that right? And it always seemed that stupid people never followed her simple request. Was it hard for them to make her sandwiches or leave her alone? Obviously not because there was someone staring at her, which annoyed her great.
She turned her head in the creepiest way possible. Rigid and frozen and it look like the girl in the Exorcist whose head went spinning. She stared and then glared and then a small frown pressed across her lips. She sighed again and blink. A average male who was probably curious why a zombie like her was walking around window shopping at a mall. Was it that strange that she was doing this. She moved towards his direction, eyes locked on him, frowning the whole time. "You understand it's rude to stare, right?" she said with a icy tone.

Liam knew he'd screwed up the moment he saw the girl's spine stiffen. And then she'd turned her head, body staying eerily still, eyes narrowed and scanning. Eesh, creepy, much? He felt the moment she spotted him in his soul, carefully slipping his phone into his back pocket as she strode toward him. Red eyes - who knew? She also looked really annoyed to have caught him staring. The thought was confirmed when the girl spoke - 'snapped' was probably a more accurate description - in one of the coldest voices he'd heard in a while. Papa still had her beat, though, when he was for real scolding Dad or laying down the law for him and his siblings.
He gave his shiniest smile, shrugging goofily in an attempt to make her amused (and hopefully less pissed.) "What can I say? A girl as beautiful as you is sure to make a couple heads turn." he said cheerily, tail flicking. Seriously, though, her dress could use some serious TLC. It was pretty cute - as was she, he assumed, when she wasn't all puffed up and defense - but care worn and in a bad need of some stitching. Her skin itself seemed an off-shade, which was just as well. The moment she'd gotten close enough his suspicions had been confirmed - she was an Undead and his well of potential questions had run dry the moment she'd opened her mouth.
Ah, well, there always was casual conversation with a side of flirting! "You come around here often? I've never seen you before - and I'm pretty sure I'd remember a cutie like you." Annnddd now he sounded like a cliché creep from some B-rated movie. Good going, you bumbling idiot.

Kids blink in her unamused way and then cocked her head. He reminded her of someone, yes she remember, him. The man that she had once love and then he left. He was goofy but he wasn't a flirt which annoyed her greatly. She sometimes missed the goofyness that Wright brought to her life, with his cocked smiled or his need to always lick her ears. But that was all in her past, everything was in her past as she hated almost everyone because most just annoyed her now and he seemed to do just the same. "Flatterly get you nowhere." she said with a small sigh. It seemed that every time she met a guy they always said something to this effect. "I think the reason why I make heads turn in because most of my rib cage is falling out." she said shrugging.
She moved closer to him with her eyes almost in slits and cocked her head to the other side. She gave him a light poke and gave him a once over. "What are you? Why are you here? What do you want?" she said poking him again. She looked at him again through squinted eyes and laugh. "Yes, actually I'm here pretty often. Would you like to assist me with window shopping or just stand here looking like the creep that you sound like?"

Liam hadn't really expected his cheesy lines to work - but, still, she was positively icy with her snide retorts. He couldn't help but let his sunny grin fall just a tad at her coolness. He also couldn't help but glance to see, yes, his suspicions were confirmed by her admission and what he'd thought was bone was indeed part of her rib cage. ""Well, I wasn't trying to be too subtle about affirming how cute you are - boney bits and all. That's the beauty convention now, anyway!" he chirped, grin returned to its rightful place.
The hybrid resisted the urge to back up (not that he could unless he suddenly gained the ability to move through walls) when the shorter female put herself right into his intimate space bubble. He did raise a brow when she poked him and obviously checked him out. And then the questions hit and he found himself almost pouting, ears flicking back and tail twitching. "I'm Liam De'Awesume-Daley. I'm bored and all of my friends are off doing odds and ends today. And as for what I want..." he shrugged, smirking at her, "Who knows?"
At her request/insult, Liam chuckled despite himself. "Sure, why not? I have nothing to do and you look lonely." He paused, looking her over. "Though, suggestion? How about we fix up the dress you have? There's a craft store on the east side of the mall that ought to have some thread - I have to patch up my and my sibling's stuff all the time so I'm pretty good at it." He coughed a bit after his admission, scratching the back of his head and ducking a bit to avoid eye contact.

Annoyed, a word that she was almost always and it seemed that it was no different with this fellow as well. Why was all males the same. Always hitting on things they thought were pleasant to the eye. She was not pleasant to the eye. Her skin was decaying and most of the time when she was walking she left would leave a path of blood, so what was this male deal. Wright enjoyed her because she was demanding he enjoyed that, and Clover dealt with her because he was just as disgusting as her but this one, he was normal by a far expect the glowing eyes, so she did not understand why he kept hitting on her.
She stopped and looked at him again and gave a small huff. "I'm curious. Are you attracted to the smell of decaying bones and flesh? Is that a fetish and that is why you keep hitting on me? Or is it because I'm strange and you're curious by how I work?" she said staring at him. She did this often, she only had two looks, annoyed and blank.
Ahhh there it was. The answer she was looking for. He was bored, so she was something to keep him entertain. She swiftly turn around and huff. "I am no one entertainment. If anything you should be the one entertaining me. Just because you're bored, Mister De'Awesume-Daley does not mean that I need to be the one to take on this task. Though I may be only window shopping I do have a life." she said flicking her tail, slowly. True, be it, she didn't care if she was someone entertainment she just didn't enjoyed being the one that wasn't in control. She enjoyed being the one demanding to be entertained so the idea that someone was almost doing the same annoyed her greatly.
She laughed a bit. "Lonely to you is pleasure to me. You understand right that sometime people might enjoy being alone." she said looking back to him, with a small hint of a smirk. But as soon as that hit her mouth it was gone and replaced with it was a frown. "Is there something wrong with me dress? I rather fond of it." she with a hard lined pressed against her face.
Who was this person judging the way she looked. She thought she look rather plain, which was just the way she like. Maybe it was time to get something else that would be less noticeable and maybe people like him wouldn't stare at her. "And what would you suggest I change into? I don't want to be notice so what is more plain than this?" she said tapping her chin. Oh yes her name she had forgot about that. " I'm Kids with Guns, don't ask why I'm guessing my parents were idiots when it came to naming their children...

To say Liam was taken aback at the Undead girl's sudden snapping retort would be an understatement. He finally dropped his attempts at appearing nonchalant, brows drawing together in confusion. "I didn't- It's not- I'd never-" he attempted to speak, but she quickly cut him off. He felt his annoyance rising at her unjust accusations - sure, he'd admitted he was bored and he'd already said he'd assumed she was the same. And what was with accusing of fetishizing her? He'd always thought that harmless flirting was normal when you thought someone was cute?!
He was getting really tired of her high and mighty attitude.
"Oh, yeah, sure. I understand. You've deluded yourself into thinking that you like being alone just because no one wants to hang around you." he said bitingly, tail flicking in his agitation. "Lord knows you'd never consider that it might be your personality that turns people off!" His eyes were glowing brightly, he knew, but it wasn't as though he had much control over their brightness anyway.
His ire was derailed slightly by her question about her dress. He huffed, frowning slightly as he took another glance over her attire, pity rolling in like a thunderstorm and severing to temporarily dowse his anger. Liam sighed. "It's a nice dress, like I've said. But it looks like it's seen better days, so maybe you could get it repaired?" He gestured vaguely at the rip in the side and the tear in the sheer sleeves. His instincts were clamoring for him to return to his previously enraged state, tugging at him to become angry enough so he could morph and destroy the insolent girl in front of him. But he resisted, as he always had.
'Dad would be ticked if I forgot my training over a little slip of an Undead girl. Even if she IS being a royal pain.' he thought, crossing his arms over his chest and leveling her with a bland stare. That is, of course, until she finally introduced herself. Ears perking, he shifted his stance, trying and failing to keep his lips from quirking up into an amused smile. "Nice to meet you, Kids." he said, mentally making a note to, should he ever get her number, make her ringtone personalized to the song that was her namesake.
