indentKsenija is the irrefutable picture of feminine elegance. She was raised within the forests surrounding Trine's Environs; closest to Atlini Hold. Her skin is slightly tanned from the sun's rays; while the girl's body is finely tuned with an athletic grace that moves with a certain poise. Her well curved hips jut outwards from her waist at gentle angles. She has long legs that are shapely and well toned from many turns of walking everywhere. Her long blond curls bounce towards her hips and hug them when she walks. Darker roots warn of dirtier blonde coming into the beautiful curls the young woman refuses to cut. Her face is narrow yet contains smooth angles, making her chin rounded and set. Her nose, narrow with a slight flare at the nostrils, sits upon her face with a sense of refinement to it's smooth features. Her eyes are a gentle blue color with darker navy blue edges bordering the iris with a wide, almond-shape. She is five foot nine inches in stature, with roughly one hundred and fifty-eight pounds in weight. This doesn't throw her off however, instead she uses it to her advantage. The woman's clothing is somewhat flashy, and definitely she enjoys showing off her curves in the finest threads her mother could afford to send her.

indentA person is only as beautiful as they are on the inside. One may take a look at stereotypes and assume that an appealing teenager is a snobby, aristocratic, narcissistic fool. This is not what one would see when they look into Ksenija's heart and mind. They would see an ambitious, strong-willed woman with heaps of determination blossoming within her. A perfectionist who calculates and frowns upon any failure. Goal-oriented with an optimism that knows no bounds. Thoughtful and witty, she goes about her daily chores with a devotion that she feels must be sought in in all things one does.
indentWork is meant to be accomplished before one goes about their play. And Ksenija takes this very seriously. She despises laziness and loathes whiners, unless they are children in distress. Independent from those around her, she takes care of herself, not indulging in partnerships that do not meet a common goal. With no interest in being looked after and doted upon, she is a hard woman to woo.
indentAlthough, very rebellious to men of superior standing than herself, she remains awkwardly polite. Despite resenting men in general after finding out her "father" was not really her father. She seeks to carry out her own agenda when possible. She has an odd way of doing things, which has been known to cause people to dislike her, or think she takes the hard road in everything. She is a very controlling person, wanting to control every situation that involves her, and despises when a person butts heads with her. Ksenija is not one to back down from an altercation, and has fought many times during her candidacy, outside of clutching moments due to obscene comments on her figure. Calculative and precise she faces her problems head on.
indentKsenija does not trust anyone. She feels as though if she were to let people in she would only get hurt. This is a defense mechanism taken up when her mother remarried and she was shunned away. Her fury can be unrestrained, and her intolerance of failure makes her sometimes impractical. Deep down inside of her she is a truly vain women, and knows to the full extent her assets which can be used to her advantage against men. Ksenija can be a very private young woman, not revealing her secrets. She doesn't like when people pry into her private life and has been called incredibly distant and sometimes even callous. She can be harsh and cold when first meeting someone, though she does not intend to be, it is her mistrust of people that comes into play.
indentAll and all, Ksenija is a harsh, tarnished gem that seeks to war her hurt on those around her. She is rash and sometimes unstable, but she craves something more; not as a romantic party, but just something to fill the void within her. Because of her genuine mistrust of humanity, she does not interact well with her peers; preferring to spend her free time with the dragons or even the wild flits nearby. She enjoys work, and usually gives herself more to do when a task has been completed.

indentTo understand this young woman's past history, one would need to delve into the past of the girl's mother, Nadica. Nadica was a healer in Trine, her world revolved around healing. She was married at a young age and she was satisfied with this marriage. Until she met him. A bronze rider named C'mant. He was older than she, but by no means was he an old man. He'd had a reputation for bedding many women in his short adult hood, but she shoved his past behind, looking at the man he'd shown her alone.

indentOne evening, a gold flight began to take place. By this time, Nadica was walking home, her heart racing with hormones that she couldn't shake. She ran into C'mant on this night. Unfathomable feelings burned into her heart when she saw him and soon the two got to talking in a Klav shop, their hearts racing. Soon, the pair was within the bronze rider's barracks, their bodies entangled in a ritual of instinct that felt so right to the young woman. Her body melded easily with his and his scent filled her nostrils to the point of madness. The next morning, however, she awakened earlier then the man she'd gone to bed with. Married, she was horrified at realizing this man was the one she loved; even more than her husband. So, in the grey of morning, the woman slipped away to her home.

indentAfter a few hours, her husband and her leave Trine and move further away, she never spoke to C'mant again. However, her thoughts turned to him in the growing months as her stomach began to swell from the petite womanly figure to a swollen bubble of baby. Nine months later, the woman gave birth to a beautiful baby girl with pale curls. Nadica's husband was less than thrilled, though he said nothing; instead shunning Nadica's daughter. This pushed mother and daughter closer together.

indentWhen the child turned nine turns old, Nadica's husband passed away. The woman felt incapable of taking care of her daughter on her own; so once more they moved from Atlini Hold, to one of Trine's other territories and settled there. She met a new man and Ksenija disapproved of the tailor's being. She despised the man instantly, and confessed to her mother on multiple occasions her dissatisfaction. She began to act out, and when she turned ten turns of age, her mother gave birth to twins, enticing the man to marry her. Angry with her mother and her mother's choice of husband, the girl's attitude towards superiors only continued to worsen.

indentAt the age of thirteen turns, the girl was searched from a small shop in one of Trine's holds. Unknown to her, a dragon rider's blood surged through her veins and she was taken to Trine Weyr to begin her candidacy as a potential dragon rider. The child attended her classes, though still seemed to be distrustful of those around her. Not wanting to let anyone get close to her for fear of the way they'd become later on, and the other candidates began to be cruel. However she looked forward to letters from her siblings,and frequently received and wrote letters to, Bogdan and Cvetka. The twins kept her in the loop on the family, and even gave her some hope.

indentWhen the girl turned fifteen, she received word from her mother that she and her husband were divorcing. It made the girl's heart soar and she requested of her candidate master that she be allowed to go and see her mother and siblings. Given permission, since no clutches were happening, she was taken to her mother's hold and immediately began to open up to her mother. Her mother had become a fine seamstress and had sewn together several beautiful garments for her eldest daughter. Not wanting this to end, the pair regained their affections, and that overflowed onto Ksenija's siblings. Finally, she had her little group back and it made her feel overjoyed.

indentKsenija returned to the weyr with a happiness and optimism that she'd never shown before. But those hidden emotions of distrust still plagued her. She became an even harder worker, wanting to show her family she could achieve anything she wanted. Soon, another hatching came and she received her chance once more. Attending, she was hoping to get her very own dragon this time around. She'd been a candidate for two years, but, alas it did not happen. Disappointment pulled at the young woman. She had been in two standings but had not had any success within it's functions. However, determination thrust her onward, not looking back.

indentNow nineteen turns old, the girl is reaching the end of her career as a candidate. Ever optimistic, she feels like this time, she will be successful in attaining that part of her she'd always been missing. Just one little part of her to be replaced and reborn. Something she'd never known as missing. Ksenija is thoroughly hopeful that this time, she will make it to her goal of a dragon rider.

xxxxposition on Dragons │ Ksenija loves and adores dragons, of all colors. To her she cannot fathom a world where dragons don't exist. They protect humans, it's a symbiotic relationship.
xxxxposition on Whers │ Ksenija has little experience with Whers, typically when they're out an about she is safely asleep in her bed. The whers are a necessity however, and she doesn't feel like they should ever disappear.
