Rules: 1. No god-modding! It's understandable if you do this on accident. Do not do this on purpose repeatedly. 2. No meta-gaming! This means your character(s) cannot know about any future events or other characters at any given time automatically! It is very unfair to others. 3. Follow all RP rules! 4. Original Characters are allowed. 5. Please use brackets such as --> ((...)), [[....]] or {{...}} for all Out of Character posts. 6. If things get too steamy, TIME SKIP! There will be no taking it to PMs either! (No, this is not a yaoi/yuri, etc. RP!) 7. No profanity of any kind! (I don't tolerate that in an RP!) 8. No constant one liners! Details are very important when writing in an RP! Be descriptive! ************************************************ It was a cool summer evening as the sun began to set below the western horizon. There was an old abandoned village called Shade, left mostly in ruins due to war. Many of its citizens had either left or had been killed during the great battle. The houses were in shambles, while very few buildings remained such as an estate to the west, including the old Mage Tower in the northwest corner, as well as a small hospital to the south of the tower. Though the history of the village itself had long been forgotten, swept away with the very sands of time itself. Within the estate lived a young woman, no older than eighteen years. She had long, shoulder length black hair like her father's, tied back in a ponytail. Her skin was fair yet slightly pale, and had sapphire blue eyes like her mother with a black blindfold on. She wore her black ninja attire with dark violet trim, which seemed to hug her curves a little. Letting out a small sigh, Rei did what she could to wash off the dirt from the outside front window of the old one story estate she lived in with her wash rag. She had been at it all morning, but felt rather tired. Very few people resided in the village, for the streets had been silent for years. 'Why am I still stuck here? I still can't recall anything about this place, yet I've lived here... a long time.' Rei thought curiously, feeling around for the window pane with her hand as she continued to do her chores. She softly hummed an old song she once heard, but knew not of its origins as she worked.

Saiyoko is a girl of unknown origins. She has red hair the goes down to her hips, cream white skin, purple eyes, and crescent birthmark on the back of her neck. She wears a what looks like priestess robes. The top fell just above her belly button with long flowing sleeves, the skirt hugged her hips and went down to her ankles with a slit on the right side that started at mid-thigh. she has a magical bag the hangs off her shoulder. Saiyoko was walking through a forest with a grey wolf at her side like she did every day. The wolf was her only friend and companion. It has always been by her side helping her,and protecting her.

Rei continued to clean the old estate house she resided in, moving on to the left window at the front of the house. She carried the bucket of soapy water with her, walking around on the porch until she stopped at the place she needed to be. Grabbing the rag, Rei dipped it into the water and began washing the window. She turned her head long enough to her left, sensing the Shade Crow forest to the west had been rather quiet ever since the end of the war. 'Hmm, not many birds are out at this time of evening. How unusual.' Rei thought observantly. She softly hummed an old tune she memorized from long ago to help pass the time while she worked.

As Saiyoko and her wolf companion walked, she spotted a large tree. "hey lunet lets sleep under that tree for the night" Saiyoko said to the wolf. Lunet nodded her head in agreement. Then they proceded toward the tree were they would make camp.

Several hours went by as the full moon began to rise. All was quiet around both the forest and Shade village as the crickets sang their night songs. Rei had gone inside her house for the night and went straight to sleep. Not a soul was in sight as time seemed to slowly go by. Much still needed to be done in order to restore the old buildings, which she knew would take years to accomplish alone. As time passed, morning came again next day. Rei had been awake and was dressed once more in her ninja attire with the black blindfold around her eyes. She quietly walked out of the house and headed through the streets, sensing the few people who remained had gone about their day as normal. "Hmm, quiet as ever. Nothing seems to change." Rei spoke observantly as she went down the main path leading towards the village entrance.

"Lunet,im tired of this dream. It never changes and i never makes any sense" saiyoko said to her wolf."It might make sense someday, you never know. For the time being lets find some breakfast"replied lunet the wolf " Alright lets see if we can find a boar or something."said Saiyoko. Lunet nodded, and began sniffing the air.Saiyoko took her bow and arrows from her magic bag, then proceeded to follow lunets lead.

As she headed on out of Shade village, Rei decided to go do some exploring in the Shade Crow forest. Passing the entrance gate, she went straight to the west and entered into the woods. It was rather quiet, for not many animals had been around. Rei silently followed an old path which lead further south west, though she had no idea where it led. "Hmm, no wonder it's quiet out here." she spoke softly. After a few moments, she somehow sensed something strange nearby, though Rei guessed it must of been a fox or werewolf off to the left. Rei could smell the scent of something else with it, but couldn't pinpoint who or what it had been. 'Another hybrid person maybe?' Rei thought in wonder. She kept on walking to follow the scent, hearing a herd of deer nearby.

Lunet had found a deer that had fallen far behind its heard. As she quietly stalked it Saiyoko raised her bow and arrow, and prepared to shoot the deer. Luner drew the attention of the deer, and Saiyoko launched an arrow toward the deer. "That was a perfect shot. As usual you struck the heart with one shot" said Lunet. "Well its alot better than when i was younger i suppose"replied saiyoko. She put her bow and arrow back in her bag and pulled out a knife.she then began skinning the deer.

As she continued through the forest, Rei could smell the scent of deer blood somewhere off to her right. It was clear the path she had gone through was no doubt the home to a large herd of deer which she guessed lived in the area. Very few wandered through the old Shade Crow forest any more ever since the village became nearly abandoned. Rei knew she was getting close, following the scent. She stopped in her tracks about forty yards away, listening to the sound of someone speaking. 'Who in the world?' Rei thought curiously, smelling not only the scent of another person, but a wolf as well. Rei guessed the wolf could of been the woman's companion. She remained on her guard, crouched down in the thick brush close to an old willow tree.

Saiyoko had finished skinning the deer and had started to cut the meat from the body. Lunet watched over Saiyoko, she kept her gaurd up in case someone should attack. She could smell someone or something, but decide not to act unless they attacked. "You seem to be more on guard than usual lunet. Could it be this forest? It feels strange here lets go soon."said Saiyoko to Lunet. Lunet just nodded. "There now all the meat is off, should we cook normally or make into jerky."Saiyoko asked lunet.

After a few moments of silently observing, Rei decided to investigate further. For some reason she didn't recognize the stranger or the wolf that was with them. Walking out of her hiding spot, Rei went in the direction in which she heard the loud crackling of the fire, as well as the scent raw deer meat. It had been a while since she went out on patrol of the village borders which the forest was more within it. However Rei knew she had forgotten about breakfast which made her rather hungry. She approached the camp site from the woman's left, not bothering to remove the blindfold while stopping next to a tall fir tree. "Good morning. Fine day for a bonfire." Rei spoke calmly, managing to smile shyly a little. She could sense the woman was indeed different, most likely not from around the area. Rei waited patiently, sensing the wolf was clearly unaccustomed to strangers being near his mistress.

"let's cook it."said Lunet"Alright then" Saiyoko said as she started the up the fire. She then began to roast the meat over the fire. There was a rustling in the wind and saiyoko heard footsteps but didnt want to burn breakfast.Lunet seem on edge and didnt like that someone had approached them. Saiyoko heard the stanger speak to her. "Um... hello" said Saiyoko without taking her eyes off the fire.

Rei could sense the wolf was a bit on edge, though she kept her distance. It was every day she met travelers who trespassed into the forest. "Sorry if I've startled you. Not many people usually come through this part of the woods." Rei spoke calmly in apology. She could smell the meat cooking, wondering as to who this woman was. Rei knew by her scent she didn't smell familiar at all. "What brings you here?" she asked the lady curiously.

Saiyoko finished cooking the meat and set it aside. "its fine we just aren't used to people, and nothing really brought us here" said Saiyoko to the stranger. She then cleaned of her knife off and placed it back in her bag. Saiyoko wasn't quite sure how she felt about this stranger but she didn't think it necessary to lie to the girl. She gestured to Lunet to signal her to relax a bit.

Rei could sense the wolf had been a bit uneasy, which was understandable. "I don't believe I've seen you around. I'm Rei Riberu." she spoke calmly. "May I join you for breakfast? 'Tis not often I'm around other people." Rei asked the woman curiously, unsure as to how she'd react. Very rarely did she stay near groups of people, though Rei had been used to wandering her homeland alone. The scent of the cooked deer meat was rather potent, though Rei managed to refrain from digging in before it was served. She knew it would be outright rude.
