Minny was a proper lady where Antiope was not. Antiope spent her spare time as a senshi practicing fighting style, and Minny spent her spare time drinking tea.

Antiope usually wasn't the sort to seek out the Senshi of Origami, even though the Mantis senshi could appreciate a cup of tea or two. So it was unusual that the little senshi was bounding from rooftop to rooftop, seeking out her acquaintance.

"Minny... I hope you are around tonight!" she called out on occasion, trying to get the other senshi's attention if she was about.

It wasn't a volume issue on Antiope's part, for there were plenty of people who responded to her inquiries with angry shouting. Perhaps night time was not the best time to be hunting down a fellow senshi, but it wouldn't be the first time the little senshi didn't give a damn about what others thought.

Antiope grinned when she heard her Senshi name called out by a familiar voice. She didn't even notice the tone, but that mostly had to do with the fact she was excited.

And anxious.

"Minny!!!" she said as she practically pounced upon the familiar senshi. "I got a thiiiiing!!!"

Distancing herself very slightly, she held out her two floppy sleeves.

"Pick a hand!" she demanded.

This had been a rouse all along.

Though she still hadn't mastered the strange way the phone came out of nowhere, she did have a vague understanding now that it came up only with her uniform. With the hand selected, she managed to summon up the phone in that hand.

"Ah, the left hand you say... let us see what you've won!"

It was rare for the Mantis senshi to show her hand, but popping out of the sleeve was a hand clinging onto a green cell phone.

"I managed to find a Starcat and get one of these phones you were talking about... don't know how to use it... so... that's where you come in!"

As Mintaka's joke fell flat for Mintaka, it also fell flat for Antiope, her only response was a curious tilt of the head.

"Oh. Kay."

Rather than fuss with her phone, the little Mantis senshi instead thrust her phone at the Origami Senshi.

"I dunno! I tried to play with it before and I couldn't figure anything out... all I did apparently was make a wallpaper of one of my posters from my dorm room."

Turning the phone around so Mintaka could see, she showed off the picture of Jet Li.

"So... you make it work now!"

"Jet Li is a Wushu legend!" It was Antiope's sport, so of course she idolized the man.

Stepping on her tiptoes slightly so she could get a better look at the phone, she seemed to phase out any mention of the other functions. Something something Senshi, something something Moon, and then the mention of what she really wanted.

Space

Rather suddenly, the Mantis senshi struck, jabbing the appropriate button quickly with her sleeve.

And nothing happened.

Her mouth stretched out into a displeased line, lips stretched thin from the length of the line.

Three more times she jabbed the button, yet again getting nothing in return.

"It's broken!" was the plain assessment she made.

The mantis senshi narrowed her already narrow eyes at the terrible comparison. "That is two different genres... unfair comparison at best."

When she was scolded, the shorter of the pair didn't seem remotely startled at all. Nor did she seem apologetic about the issue.

"I threw that phone against the wall and it held up," she lied without any hesitation. She had wanted to throw it, but had decided against it. Now she was feeling that urge again, so saying she had already done such a deed made her feel slightly better in an odd way.

The eventual instructions Mintaka offered caused the Asian girl to blink.

"Do you mean meditate? I mean, it sounds like you are asking me to meditate, but I want to be sure that is what you mean."

Meditation was not a foreign concept to the girl, considering many of the greats did routine meditation.

The Mantis senshi didn't seem to process any of the scolding she received from the Origami Senshi. Clearly, Minny didn't understand how the world really worked. It was okay, Antiope was still going to do her thing, regardless of the approval of a potential friend.

With the further explanation on how the phone worked, the smaller senshi couldn't help but squint even more at the device.

"You would think they would have... you know... directions that came with the phones... especially with such difficult activations..."

Shaking her head, she briefly moved to plant Minny's hand on her shoulder before she seemed to roll her shoulders and shake out her arms.

"Alright... gonna make this good!" With her companion touching her shoulder now, the girl slipped her phone back into the depths of her sleeve, then clapped both her hands together as she began to clear her mind.

It had been done many times as a training exercise, but it still took a bit of work on Antiope's part to clear her mind sufficiently. As her mind cleared, the overwhelming sound of insect wings seemed to flood her ears. It almost reminded her of a locust swarm.

Mintaka wouldn't be able to see Antiope's fingers twitch to push the button on her phone, but as the pair faded, it was clear that the green suited senshi had managed to succeed.

When the pair rematerialized, their surroundings seemed familiar, yet rather different from Mintaka's world. Yes, there was bamboo surrounding them along the edges of the dirt road they were standing upon, but the lighting was far dimmer.

As Antiope's eyes finally fluttered opened, she asked naively "...did that work...?"

She wasn't expecting to see a skull displayed upon a bamboo pike immediately in front of her line of vision.

Stumbling back in shock, the first words she said were not even words she was expecting to come tumbling out.

"...that... belonged to a man..."

As Mintaka sorted to the one skull they had seen upon initially arriving, Antiope took a moment to look around them a bit more.

There was the bamboo forest that seemed to be surrounding them, and there was the dirt road. The path seemed to stretch long, running from North to South. It was as the small senshi looked at the expanse of the pathway, she was able to see the bigger picture.

That pike had been one of many. The whole pathway was decorated with pikes, each with a skull upon it, and each skull belonging to a man.

To Mintaka's inquiry, all she could offer was an uncertain "...this world... apparently..." She took in a breath, stepping forward lightly as she approached another pike nearby. Some of the skulls seemed bleached and nearly pristine, but some were stained with dark reddish-brown stains.

The Mantis Senshi's breath felt short as she breathed in and out. She felt uneasy, yet for some reason, she wasn't scared. They were just skulls. Everyone had one. Everyone died at some point. The reasoning for the display of skulls was not something she could grasp at the moment, but it didn't define what the world was here.

"I... I want to continue... this way..."

Her step seemed far more wary than any she had taken upon Mintaka's world, but after the first step, the others seemed to come easier. A few steps were taken down the path that cut South.

"...I don't know what I will find though..." For a brief moment, Mintaka might have been able to see the fact that Antiope had green eyes as the Mantis Senshi looked back to her.
