In what he knew to be a very bad idea, Leucite was once again stalking the outskirts of the DCU campus. It was a bad idea because his goal wasn't at all related to gathering energy or star seeds or tracking down the knights and senshi he knew probably frequented the school. Well okay that wasn't completely accurate he was hunting ONE knight. A knight that if he had any brain cells left to rub together, he'd leave well enough alone and just - let it go. But he couldn't. She'd gotten under his skin so badly after their last encounter that no number or cold showers or cold-blooded star seed ripping could cool his ardor. He had it bad - so bad. With a grumble, he tried to make himself as obvious as possible. If he couldn't get Amenthes to show - maybe he could draw out another order flunky and maybe beating on them a bit would cool him down some.

Amenthes wasn't actually out patrolling like normal, instead she was just sitting on Writer's Block. On the roof, gazing up at the stars as she relaxed. She just finish patrolling, and was ready to call it a night when she decided she needed a moment. With a small sigh, she balls up the fist on her stomach before sitting up.
Why did she kiss him.....?
She don't some crazy things, but this was just over the top for her. Slowly standing, she lifts her arms above her head for a brief moment before she finally searched outwards. It took all of but a second for her to register the chaos aura that was on campus with her. She felt her heart pick up, and she shook her head "Foolish woman....don't go to him again..." she scold herself even as she looks over the ledge.
She could see him, he wasn't at all trying to hide.
This caused her to arch a brow as she slowly slips over the ledge, landing in the grass below. Standing upright, she didn't say anything, she just stood there looking at him for a moment.
Why was he here....not because of her.....right?

The order aura behind him caused him to turn slowly, he was hoping - against all hope - that it was Amenthes and not another senshi or knight. He was rewarded for his faith and conviction by it actually being her. "Good evening," He said quietly, looking furtively around before letting out a long sigh. "Look I... don't usually do this... but can we talk?"He would never live this down if he was caught TALKING to a knight. He was Spec. Ops. His job was to hunt her kind down and slaughter them. Convert or die. His words. His conviction. He honestly knew that he had only one mission in life right then. He had convince this glorious goddess to convert to the Negaverse. Because he didn't have it in him to kill her.

Amenthes arches a brow at his request before she gives him a small nod. She didn't even hesitate as she moves towards him, closing the space between them. Only when she was a good few feet away did she stop, her hand moving to rest on her waist as she gives him a smile "You have my attention..."
Chewing on the inside of her cheek, she looks him over for a moment.
Why did he suddenly seem so different?

"I want to... apologize... for hurting you." Leucite said quietly. "Like I said the other day I panicked and I... lashed out more than I would have usually." He didn't know why this was so hard. Well he did, but he wasn't about to vocalize it or give it words because then it'd be true. "My... role in our organization is a combat specialty... It's what I am good at and I take pride in that. However, what happened that day was... beyond the pale given the circumstances and I should have restrained myself.""But if you're willing to, uhm, hear me out... I think I can give you a few good reasons why you should... join our side in this fight. Because I still do think we're the righteous ones here."Even if she made him second guess that.

Amenthes was in shock when he actually apologized for hurting her. She couldn't help but wonder what brought it on, but she had a feeling she knew. Only she wasn't about to place words to it, no, she couldn't.
The smile she had on, slowly turns to a frown as he continued.
Shaking her head, she looks away from him "You can try to give me as many good reason as you want. I will not flip side Leucite." she turns her body, ready to walk away from him.
"I'm sorry...but if that is why you came hunting for me...then were done here..."

"That's... not the only reason." Leucite said as she started to turn away from him. "I mean... I'm not going to give up trying. But I can respect your... resolve in the matter."He had to convert her... Even if it meant getting in touch with a General King... and forcing the issue... But that could wait - he had to see if he could get her to come willingly into the fold first. "I... I needed to see you again..." He finally admitted. "But also... I wanted to hear... your side."

Amenthes pauses as she looks over her shoulder, looking back at the man before her. Turning, she tilts her head just enough that causes her bangs to fall into her face. Instantly she push them away as she couldn't help but melt at his words.
Looking down, she gives a weak chuckle before she looks back up at him "I'm the wrong Page to be asking honestly. Truth is, I am still very much new to this war. When you um...place me in the hospital, I only been at this for a month or so." she looks back down as she place with her gloves.
"All I can say is, that if you came to this side...I would be an instant partner. I would protect you, no matter what."

Her admission that she would be an instant partner if he decided to change sides. It tempted him. He was never tempted before. He pushed it aside and he smiled weakly. "The offer is... tempting to say the least - but one does not simply... leave the organization you know?""Could you extend that protection to my family and friends? To people I have known? I am able to protect them because I have the resources to do so. Can your side say the same?""Also, I've... done a lot of damage - I'm not sure I'd be welcomed."

She opens her mouth, only to close it as she frowns. She knew full well she couldn't offer that for him, even if she dare lie to him. Instead, she look very saddened as she shook her head "No...I cannot....and I wish I could...I really do." she thought of one Knight, maybe she could talk to him if she could track him down.
She didn't look back up at him, actually finding if she did she would be royally upset with herself.
Shaking, she gives a weak laugh before she sighs "Why do you think I am strong enough for your side. I mean...compared to many...I am but one solider. A noob at that...." she couldn't even deal with the double life she was in right now, how could she deal with what he been going through.

"There is so much potential in you it's ******** scary." Leucite said softly. Suddenly he was moving. She was in distress and he was moving. He didn't even realize he'd closed the distance between them until his hand was resting lightly on her arm.
"You're more than strong enough... Trust me - I've seen you fight... Your technique is pretty spot on. With a little bit more training you'd be able to face any of your old allies easily. Hell, right now you're already twice as good as half of the ones I've fought."
Except Luxor... She'd have trouble fighting him but then who wouldn't.

Amenthes couldn't help but blink a few times, before she looks up at him. Her cheeks were red when she suddenly realized how close he was. Swallowing, she tries to ignore the fact he was close.
Then he spoke, and she dropped to the ground in a giggle fit.
He didn't....but he just did.....
She kept laughing, before she finally allows herself a chance to breathe. Looking up at him, she lays on the grass as she shakes her head "You did not just quote the Emperor from Mulan...." she had to give him points for that.

Her laughter was contagious, because the next thing he knew he was laughing too. He didn't follow her to the ground - at least, not at first. But once she was looking up at him and talking, he allowed himself to move, dropping to a knee next to her so that half his body was over her.
"Well yeah, he knew what he was talking about..."
Suddenly his hand was cupping her cheek and he smiled.
"The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all... You don't meet a girl like that every dynasty."
And then he kissed her. Why? Because he could.

Amenthes went still the moment his lips touched her own. She was no longer laughing, she was reaching up to place her hand on his. Her head tilting so she can return the kiss as she wraps her hand around his wrist. She didn't know why, but being this close to him, she forgot everything else around them.
Including that they were in a war,
Breaking the kiss only because she had to breathe, she looks up at him. The freckles on her cheeks visible because of how red she was at this point. Slowly, she tries to sit up even with him party over her.
"I...um...we....I thought you said that this couldn't happen....you could die because of it..." she chews on her swollen bottom lip as she glance around.
She was actually worried for him.

Leucite sighed for a moment as she spoke, and he helped her sit up a little bit, moving so that he was sitting next to her.
"Yeah, I could... But that's only if I'm caught. I'm certainly not going to report it in. But to be fair, I think this technically counts as trying to recruit you."
He laughed weakly at that. "You know, if you joined my side - we could really clean this city up."
He saw the raw potential there - she would be a great officer if she just gave him the chance to mold her.
