Just thought I plop this down here, full armour listing for male and female characters.

Please note ; MH4 has a material exchange mechanic in the game, where you exchange materials in town for materials you cannot gain. So there are materials for armours and weapons you cannot grind to get yourself, but trade for at an NPC.

Such are ; Agnaktor, Amatsumagatsuchi, Arzuros, Barioth, Sand Barioth, Barroth, Blangonga, Ceadeus, Dire Miralis, Duramboros, Gobul, Jhen Mohran, Lagiacrus, Ivory Lagiacrus, Abyssal Lagiacrus, Lao-Shan Lung, Lavasioth, Lunastra, Nargacuga, Lucent Nargacuga, Nibelsnarf, Qurupeco, Royal Ludroth, Shen Gaoren, Shogun Ceanataur, Terra Shogun Ceanataur, Uragaan, Steel Uragaan, Vespoid, Volvidon, and Yama Tsukami.

Please note ; in MH4U, it seems that at high rank and G rank armour skills, they've combined two or more skills in one, giving you more benefits.

Eg. Edgemaster > Lg Attack + Sharpness+1
Acrobat > Evasion+1 + Constitution+1 + Evade Extender
Punishing Skill > Punishing Draw + Quick Sheathe

Which makes playing as a set main weapon class more easier, but could hardlock you into armour that you may not like. Always go for those armour skills, they make life easier.
