Wild Moon tried to hold on to a wiggling Lullaby, but the tot slipped out of his grasp, her little hoof sliding right through as if she were made of butter. "Lullaby....get back here you silly!" he chased after her, only to be stopped as she darted away from him yet again, laughing like it was some kind of game.
"Kids...." he sighed, but smiled. He remembered when he was little, though he wasn't quite as rambunctious as his little girl, his sisters sure were. Stopping to OCD fix the table that the wild child had knocked on the way by, he turned towards Sweetie Belle to see if she was ready to go. "Did we get everything?" he tilted his head, wrapping his arm around his beautiful mate's waist and ruffling his son's little pink and purple curls as he clung to his mother's arm. Being as OCD as he was, Wild Moon wanted to be sure they didn't leave anything necessary behind.....not that they really needed much. He was sure his parents would have plenty of things to occupy the children if they forgot a toy or two.... still.
Time had gone by so quickly it seemed, and his little babies were already walking, sprinting, running, yelling, babbling kids who hadn't seen their grandparents in quite a while since they had been born. What with the explosion at the tree keeping everyone busy and still on edge....
He hoped this get together would be a relaxing time spent with family and loved ones and that for a moment, they could all forget the horrific events that had occurred not long ago. Lullaby giggled loudly, several long "Teeeheee!"[/b's issuing from her mouth constantly as she darted around between both her parent's hooves. "Lesgo lesgo! Gwandmaw and Gwandpaw waits!" she beamed, darting out from under the table, bumping it accidentally after her father just finished fixing it.
It had been a while since she saw the ones called her grandparents and she was excited to be able to get out of the room and run around with even more people who paid attention to her and gave her yummy things and fun things.
"Savviiiii, Savisavi!" she giggled, reaching up make little grabby hands at her brother's hooves as he dangled in his mother's arms, bouncing on her tip toes. Lullaby was always bursting with energy, never quite sitting in one place for too long and today was certainly no exception. Before she could dart away again, however, she was quickly snatched up by her father and toted out the door. A steady, loud and high pitched "Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" streamed from her lips as she was carried in the direction of her grandparent's quarters. Luna busied herself around their room inside the tree with a soft smile on her face and a near glow about her. After all that had happened, today was one day that she hoped would be nothing but enjoyable bliss and relaxation. So many things had to be done that Stallion Justmo and herself had had little time to really dote upon their new born grandkids.....and here the two were already sprouting like weeds.
"Do you think they will like cookies?" Luna asked, turning towards her beloved while setting out a plate of freshly baked cookies, thinking back on when her darlings were just mere tots, learning how to walk and shove cookie crumbs into their mouths at the same time. Her hands hovered over the plate slightly before plucking a cookie from the bunch and taking a taste test.
She passed around the room once more, making sure everything was in perfect condition for when the little ones arrived. It had felt like so long since she had enjoyed the sounds of children's laughter and hoof beats echoing about their hovel that the dark princess felt a slight tinge of impatience for them to arrive. "Surely they must be here....what could'st be taking so long? she sighed to herself, pacing in place and finishing off the last of the cookie.
She turned back towards Stallion Justmo, stepping over and linking her arms around his one, resting her head softly on his shoulder, eyes shut. He had been so busy since the explosion that she felt she had hardly seen much of him either. "Stallion Justmo....do you miss it? Having little ones I mean...." she whispered softly to him, curious to what he would say. Her mind drifted over to her sister, finally blessed with children of her own as well. So many little ones after such a traumatic time. One had to wonder....
Before she could think further on this, however, a loud child's squeal pierced her thoughts and her face light up. "They come!"(thinking this is shortly before the princess/mane 6 rp timeline wise)

Mo was deep into his own thoughts. The tree was abuzz lately, what with the big gaping hole in the very core of their home. The menders had been working day and night. It'd be healed soon, he knew, but he still worried about everything. His people were slowly spiraling into chaos. So much so that Mo seemed to be slowly spiraling into a darker mood himself.
His thoughts continued to plague him, leaving him gazing into the mental list of things that still needed to be done. Things that still needed to happen to catch the culprits responsible. He shook his head, still not realizing that Luna had been talking all this time. He was now mildly concerned for Rais. How was all this truly affecting their 'fearless' leader? He seemed to be slipping into madness from this as well. Another pang of worry sprouted through him. If his 'brother' was to go dark-side.... what would happen to them?
His muscles rippled at the idea. He couldn't let that happen. He wouldn't--
He flinched softly at the feeling of arms around his own, bringing him back down to reality.... He exhaled then and sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose a moment before he cracked a faint smile. "Yes, my Moon..." he finally answered, turning to wrap his arms around her and kiss her temple calmly. "My apologies. I was in another world..." he then continued. "But I do miss the sound of little ones within our home. Seems like ages ago now..."
He heard the squeal somewhat nearby and chuckled, shaking his head again. "I feel as though I can still hear them, sometimes."
It was then that Luna seemed to get excited, announcing that they were near and on the way. Well, of course! Damn... Mo was really out of it at this point.
He chuckled, hoping to pass it off as a partial joke that he mistook the approaching child's squeal for a memory.

Sweetie Belle couldn't quite suppress a giggle as Lullaby slipped out of her father's grasp once again. She smiled when he stopped to fix a table. "I think we've got everything," she replied as she switched Savi to her other hip to lean into Wild Moon. She was glad that they could go see Princess Luna and Mo; the kids would be happy to see their grandparents as much as her love would be happy to see his parents. "They're so excited," she said with a smile. Savi wriggled a little in his mother's arms, kicking his hooves a bit when Lullaby reached for him. "down mama!" he said and wriggled more. He wanted to run around with Lulu, but then daddy picked her up again so he was content to stay in mama's arms. "Lesgo, mama! Wanna see Gamma and Gampa!" he said with an adorable smile. ((Sorry x3;;; super fail tag))

Luna had turned and watched Stallion Justmo continuously drift off into another world. She had a good idea what he was thinking about, and it wasn't ever anything pleasant, which left her with a dissatisfied feeling deep inside. A feeling that she wasn't able to help keep her love calm. Seeing their grandkids today made her hope beyond hope that this might actually bring back the old Justmo, at least if only for one day.
"That would be because you can." she smiled softly, leaning up to gently place a kiss on his cheek before moving over to the door to welcome in her son, daughter in law and grandchildren as they arrived.
"Wild Moon..." Luna said breathlessly, taking her son's face in her hands and planting two motherly kisses, one on each cheek. She then turned towards Sweetie Belle, favoring this white sister over the noisy one much more. She offered a soft smile and leaned forward to give the unicorn a soft hug, careful not to squash the dark little foal in her arms. "Do come in. I've fresh baked cookies." she smiled, ruffling both the little one's hair, grabbing on to little fingers and tugging gently as they reached for her."Hello Mother." Wild Moon said, smiling and not resisting the kisses. He didn't mind that his mother still doted upon him sometimes, it actually felt welcome considering the prior circumstances. At the mention of cookies however, his grip on the little white filly disappeared in an instant and she was loose yet again.
Chuckling, he ran his hands through his long caramel colored space hair, making sure it was still properly tied back. "She's got so much energy....not sure where she gets it." he grinned, moving over to his father. "Hey...dad." he said softer, so it was more just between the two. His golden eyes looked over his tired looking dad, arms half open and waiting to see if Mo would accept a hug from his only son yet."Gwandmawmawmamwwmpawpawpapwawpapw COOKIES!" Lullaby spewed all at once, giggling happily as her fingers were taken but all train of thought derailed at the mention of cookies. Wriggling from her father's grasp expertly, she dashed about the larger room, under tables, over chairs till finally her nose caught the scent of cookies.
She bounced on her hooves, jumping up and down in place near the counter where the cookie plate was, hands reaching as high as they could go in hopes that the next jump would land her one of those delicious smelling round things. "Cooookie cookie cookie...... GWANDPAW! COOKIE!" she shouted, running over to tag on her grandpa's tail... somewhat gently. The little filly didn't quite know her own strength sometimes. "Owne for Savi. Two for me?" she beamed up happily, as if she were just so clever.

Mo forced himself to come back down to earth for a while. Family was important in the moment. Sprouting, growing and lively family!
As soon as the door opened, Mo couldn't help but crack a small smile. It was a blessing to see such small, innocent children in his home once more. He took a deep breath, exhaling it before blinking as Wild Moon seemed to appear beside him. He blinked, stressed eyes scanning over the now "stallion" - as Luna would call him - and he couldn't help but grin with pride.
"C'mere, kiddo." he finally cracked, pulling his son in for a great big hug. Distractions were temporarily gone. Mo was back to his old self... for the time being, at least. He chuckled then teasingly ruffled Wild Moon's hair as they pulled apart. He then patted Wild Moon's back. "SO! Have they given you two a chance to actually sleep, yet?" he teased once more then turned, taking in Sweetie Belle's figure to memory now. She'd be family from now on. He had to imprint her somehow - sniffing her bum in wilddog form would be considered greatly inappropriate, even from him - and he smiled softly.
He'd seen the girl about the tree for some time now. Even saw her with Rarity a time or two and was told the two were siblings. It was interesting to see how easy it was for some family trees to intertwine...
With another smile, he broke away from Wild Moon long enough to extend an arm to her and pull her into a hug. "Welcome to the Family, Sweetie." he offered briefly before one of the toddler's words perked his ears forward. The tugging on his tail elicited a soft and playful little growl.
"Hey now..." he chuckled, breaking away from the younger love-birds and kneeling down to the tots. "In granma and granpa's house, we share evenly." he started. "You want granma and granpa to have some cookies, too... right?" he asked with a small wink.

Sweetie Belle smiled as Princess Luna greeted her son and then hugged her and Savi. The little colt in her arms perked up at the word 'cookies' and wriggled enough for his mother to let him down. Sweetie Belle sighed softly, but it was a motherly sound accompanied by a loving smile as she watched her children run wild in their grandparents' home.
At Mo's comment about the kids giving them a chance to sleep. "Hardly," she said with a smile. "Only once we've let them run their energy down." Which could sometimes take hours, at least with Lullaby. And Savi didn't like going to sleep before his sister. She returned Mo's hug. "Thank you. It's lovely to see you both." Once Savi was allowed down from his mother's arms, he tried to follow his sister, but she was all over the place. He ended up standing next to Mo as he pouted at his sister. "Hey!" He wanted two cookies, too. He hoped that his grandfather wasn't going to give in to his sister, and was pleased when Mo didn't. Reaching up, Savi tapped Mo's shoulder. "One for ever'body?" he asked in his way, more serious than most toddlers would be.

Wild Moon laughed, hugging his father in return and squinting his eyes shut as he ruffled his hair then patted his back. "We are lucky if we catch naps! Lullaby has enough energy for both of them and twice as loud." he chuckled, then paused, glancing around to see if Twinkletoes was by chance home. He relaxed again when he saw that she wasn't, silently hoping that wherever she was....it was farther away.
"I can't decide if she lives up to her name or not." he added softly, grinning. He always thought of a lullaby as a calming soft song to aid ones sleep....his little girl was certainly far from that. When little Savi came bounding over to beg for cookies too he couldn't help but feel warm and fuzzy inside. "Of course little man, one cookie for everyone. Lullaby.... you have to be fair!" he said a little more sternly as he caught a flash of a frown from the little filly.Lullaby did indeed frown and stomped her little hooves but wiggled her fingars upwards anways. "Was gwonna share!" she said innocently though it wasn't all a lie. She did share things with her brother, he was her brother after all! Even if he was a slow poke sometimes. "One cooke den when all eated, more cookies!" she giggled, outstretching her arms and ran around the three of them before zipping over towards Luna when she arrived with a plate.Having stepped out quickly to grab the plate, Luna returned and held it down level with the children. "I think one for now, then if you behave enough, you can have one before you leave." she smiled, watching as the kids took one and pulling the tray away as Lullaby tried to sneak a second. Laughing softly she turned to offer one to Sweetie Belle first, then Wild Moon and Stallion Justmo.
"It is most refreshing to have you two over. I must confess I hath missed the sounds of little ones...." she said softly, peering down at the little ones with sparkles in her eyes. How she missed it so, what with her children all grown up now and having children of her own. [b ]"I do feel spoiled though. I have you two making me a Grandmother and my dearest sister making me an Aunt as well." she beamed, seemingly truly happy at both outcomes. Perhaps they'd have to plan a big family play date once everything settled down more.....providing....certain things allowed for such. A sigh escaped her lips as she pushed those memories to the back of her mind and took a cookie for herself, nibbling it slowly.

Mo chuckled and nodded. "See? Even your daddy learned that sharing is caring." he added, booping Lullabye softly on the nose. He turned, offering one of the cookies to Savi. "And Granma is right. One cookie now, then one cookie later. Ok?"
Giving each child a small tussle of their hair, he chuckled and stood while taking a bite of his own cookie.
"Twice as loud, huh?" he started and pointed over towards the window to the branches outside. "Good thing your sister isn't around then. Though I'm sure that even if she is up in the gardens she can probably still hear us..." he half teased.
