The level of activity in the Ikebukuro district was at an all time high, and Boone was feeling a bit on edge. Normally he was pretty comfortable on the streets, or as comfortable as a cat in his situation could get, but today he felt his fur stand up on edge as he weaved through the alleys, trying to get away from prying eyes. But, he had chosen his path poorly and the last alley he had taken opened up into the middle of the fray. He hissed and ducked behind the corner, but his curiousity kept him rooted.
One of the department stores had set up some kind of long, thin stage. Humans pressed around it, and other humans gathered behind a curtain and seemed to be primping themselves.
It was strange and nothing like he had seen before. Afraid he would get seen or stepped on, he clung to the corner of the wall, not sure what to do with himself.
